The property is spacious and lovely. The location is ideal - close to the town and the beautiful beach. The only suggestions I have is to provide better beach towels (they were very thin and worn) and maybe upgrade some of the kitchen small appliances.

“He would be a fun grandpa!” was the comment of one of my kids as we drove away. Jorge offered the warmest welcome to Mexico and our family was sad to leave this home.
A lovely stay with homemade meals, massages on the beach, afternoon dips in the pool, and sunset boogie boarding in the ocean. This home is spacious, well-stocked (so nice to be able to grill and do a load of laundry) and is a breezy stroll to the nearby beach. My family is already asking to return! Well done!

This is a lovely home with very nice staff, and is within walking distance from the beach.
However, there is ongoing building within feet of the property from 7AM to 7PM every day. A constant barrage of cement trucks, loud music, hammering and yelling makes it almost impossible to be outside during daylight hours.
I would recommend this property only to people who plan to be gone all day, every day.

Nice property, large, beautiful backyard. Very easy access to beach with umbrellas and chairs provided. Property manager Jorge very nice and helpful. A few suggestions, lots of places to sit but no comfortable chairs or couches. Construction noise concerning at start but we got used to it and in fairness it's all over Bucerias. The swimming pool is beautiful but a little on the cool side. Our six year old grandson loved playing hide and seek in the big house and also playing on the terrace at the top of the house. All in all a positive experience for us.

We enjoyed staying here as a crew of 5. Staff and property Manager Jorge were all great and Jorge was super responsive. Construction next door was noisy, but we knew about it going in so we were expecting it. Great to have our own pool in the tropical oasis! Say hi to our iguana friends in the tree!

We loved the location of this property- close to the beautiful beach and within walking distance of a variety of great restaurants. We felt safe and well taken care of. The property manager was very welcoming and responsive to all of our inquiries. There is construction in the area, but we quickly adapted to the circumstances. It was not a factor that impacted our enjoyment.
The house was great for a large group- a lot of places to gather as well as many places to spread out.
A big thanks to the owner and property manager for helping to make this a great vacation for us!

Amazing private garden
We were absolutely in love with this property. It was my 40th birthday celebration w 8 women. The rooms were all unique and super artsy and fun. The kitchen was a friendly hangout and there was a cute dining room area as well. The upstairs had another gathering space to play games or cards. We definitely want to come back for an annual reunion. The location is perfect!!!! Bucerias is a beautiful small Mexican town perfect for beach days and relaxation.

Wonderful in Everyway
Beautiful home a 5 min walk to a calm and relaxing beach that stretches for miles. The house is close to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. We had so much fun and felt like family by Jorge and his staff!

Large beautiful Villa
The villa was perfect our size of group (7 adults 1 child). The back yard is gorgeous & well kept. We had a great welcome and property manager was very hospitable. As the week went on, the hospitality became overwelming. When we contacted the owner, she was quick to respond. There were no issues after that. She went out of her way to make things right for us. We would definately stay there again if we had a large group.

Simply the best
Very easy process from reservation through our stay. The house is gorgeous and the location is perfect. Jorge the property manager was very helpful and the chefs were friendly and amazing. I really don’t think we had anything we were left wanting.

Close to everything in a relaxed private setting.
Lovely house with a nice private garden around the pool with iguanas entertaining us in the bamboo grove at the foot of the garden. Nicely located as it was an easy walk to everything. We enjoyed our 3 days there and Gorge was very welcoming upon our arrival and helpful and full of local knowledge.

Would Stay Here Again in a Heartbeat!
We had a great time at Villa De Vientos. The house is clean, safe, functional and spacious while the pool and yard out back were fantastic as well. Proximity to the beach is less than a minute walk and the 7 minute walk to downtown Bucerias was easy and great as well. The property manager Jorge was attentive and helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Everyone staying enjoyed themselves immensely and we all agreed that we would return one day and can't wait until that day comes!

Beautiful and Roomy
The Villa is beautiful, there was well enough room for us (4 couples). We liked the villa, its ambience, and the backyard with pool was very welcome. The backyard is very private with palm trees, banana tree, flowers, etc. and we all enjoyed sitting out there watching the resident iguanas and birds. The villa was well equipped with fans as there isn't air conditioning, but it was okay with the cooling breezes at night. The kitchen has all the equipment we needed, although some of it was well used and could be replaced. The beds were comfortable and having our own washroom with each bedroom was very nice. One bedroom upstairs in the back left corner gets very warm as there is full sun (no greenery coverage outside these windows) and it could get very uncomfortable in the heat of the day. Heat blocking curtains are needed for that room. The beach is just two short blocks away and not crowded, very enjoyable. The sunsets are amazing. Town centre is a bit of a walk, but there are enough excellent restaurants and shopping along the way to make it pleasant. It was especially nice having a grocery store close by that had everything we needed. Overall, everyone was very satisfied with the accommodations and location.

Villa De Vientos was a nice clean home but is showing it's wear and tear. Holes in curtains, chipped soap dishes, pool lights don't work. The description says there is an ocean view from the upstairs rooftop but it was not visible to us. Perhaps the vegetation is now blocking it. Jorge was great and very responsive and Teresa did a great job cleaning on Tuesday. One thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning. I guess I made the assumption that the bedrooms would have air because every place we have stayed in Bucerias did. My mistake. The fans do a good job of keeping the air moving and it did cool off at night but there were a couple of nights where it was a bit warmer that made sleeping uncomfortable. The other thing to be aware of it that the bedroom doors are made from textured glass so people can see into your room if you want privacy in the bedroom.

Beautiful, clean home located in a great location. Only a two block walk to the beach
A very well managed home. The cleaning staff showed up Tuesday and the property manager stopped by a few times to make sure everything was going OK. The 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom setup was perfect for our group of 4 couples. The homes location made it very handy to walk to the beach and restaurants so we didn’t require a rental car. The pool and back yard was well kept and a great place to hang out with the group. This rental turned out to be exactly what we hoped for with no disappointments.

Beautiful place that accomodated our family well!
Loved the property. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped. The property manager, Jorge, is absolutely fantastic! Although the pool is fairly small, it worked perfect for us. The roof deck is stunning and we spent most evenings up there.

Love this home!
This was our second stay here at Villa De Vientos! The home is spacious, beautiful and very ell kept! If you are adventurous and are interested in booking excursions there are several places nearby that are safe to give them a deposit. There is a large grocery store within walking g distance. Bucerias is a Mexican village close by that has restaurants, bars and a flea market for all your souvineers. We love the people of Bucerias and frequent the area often! That and hanging out at the villa by the pool to watch the iguanas are our favorite things to do. Jorge the property manager is extremely helpful and to try his private garden Tappas restaurant is a must. The property owner is very accommodating as well. We absolutely love this place and already have our 2018 vacation booked!

Become a Bucerias Local
Just to give a little background - our group changed venues from Sayulita to Bucerias a week before our trip (to avoid the risk of contracting the "Sayulita sickness") so needless to say the scramble to find a place was stressful. Thankfully we came across this gem. And what a gem it was.....this town and house exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious, well maintained, comfortable, and artistic. The house is conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of restaurant options within a short beach town stroll. The beach access is also a short walk. And you can't beat the private pool after a day on the beach! We had such a great time highlighted by the dinner in Jorge's private garden. Jorge is the property manager who will give the you the ropes on Bucerias so listen up and take notes! After that dinner I felt like a local so will definitely have to come back to Bucerias and will stay here again!

Nice house on the south side of Bucerias
It was classic February weather in Bucerias; lovely, warm, great food and wonderful beach! Some of us went on adventures, Alley Cat water tour, a day spent in Sayulita, others collected sea glass and sea shells. The house suited us well and Jorge did a good job of handling our minor requests and calls for help. Just a little too close to the Decameron resort with the fireworks and loud music. I enjoy the walk into town and it gives me an excuse to eat what I want and not feel too bad!

Beautiful, well secured villa, with lovely yard w. pool.
We arrived evening Saturday Dec.10/16. Monday morning, 8 am we were stunned
to hear heavy earth moving equipment being unloaded onto the vacant property next door. Excavator, backhoe, bulldozer. Soon thereafter, 36 large, dump-truckloads of fill was dumped on the property. Next morning, Tuesday, was more of the same i.e., diesel fumes wafting over the cement wall separating the 2 properties; very loud exhaust sounds nearly non-stop all daylong; men with sledgehammers taking down the neighbouring property's portion of the separating wall; vibrations from the machines were making our coffee mugs skip across the outdoor table; water in the pool shimmered from the disturbance.
Wednesday morning my family (6 adults + grandchild) vacated the premises for another villa we managed to snag on short 1 day notice, at substantially higher per diem rental $$.
The owner of the property, upon hearing of our experience, and after some negotiating, graciously offered us a full refund (1 week) of the rental.
Once the new home is built next door ( 6 mo / 1 year) Villa De Ventos will be a lovely rental for a large family.

Great place to stay in Bucerias
This is a great place to stay in Bucerias. So close to the beach and a short walk from town. The place is very clean and well appointed and was a great size for our 2 families to stay together. The upstairs beds were really comfortable too! The owner and property manager were accommodating and helpful.
One note - to reduce crime of opportunity, be sure to keep the front door locked in addition to the front gate, even when you are at home as it is possible for someone to slip in and out of the bars of the front gate.

Perfect Vacation Home
Highly recommended! This was my third visit to Villa De Vientos and I can't wait to return again. Each time I've had the pleasure of staying at the Villa, I've been struck by how beautiful and well-cared-for it is. This wonderful art-filled house is located in a quiet residential area, with a great pool and lovely gardens. Everything you need is within easy walking distance: a stunning white sand beach that stretches for miles, terrific restaurants and lively bars, stores of every type, and marketplaces. Villa De Vientos is a perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

Fantastic Stay in Villa de Vientos
We feel so fortunate to have stayed at beautiful 'Villa de Vientos' for two weeks this March. There were five of us - two adults and three teens. The villa was extremely spacious for us. It was a treat for the teens to have a bedroom each (with en-suite bathrooms). There are two living rooms on separate levels plus a rooftop patio. So plenty of room to find privacy if need be. Perfect for families or larger groups.
The villa is gorgeously decorated and everything one could need is supplied - even face clothes (which is rare in many countries). I found myself frequently stopping to admire the lovely decorations, tiles, sinks, etc. The kitchen is well kitted out and we were never in need of anything.
The private pool is a perfect size, situated in a lush garden full of bougainvillaea, palms and bamboo. We spent many hours enjoying the privacy of the garden. A 'pool boy' comes twice a week to keep it clean and gardeners come by twice a week as well to keep the garden looking lovely.
The maid keeps the house impeccably clean on her twice weekly visits. Nothing was unkept or dirty. I loved her touch of putting fresh cut bougainvillaea in a vase for us. She is a lovely lady, and very trustworthy.
The property owner and managers are all an absolute delight to communicate with. While staying there, if there was a concern or question at all, the manager replied to my e-mail extremely quickly and dealt with my question. Speaking of e-mail, my husband needs to contact his clients while on holiday and the wi-fi was quick and reliable.
The villa is only a block and a half from the beach, a block from the closest restaurant and a block and a half from a mini super (corner store). Busses, bike rentals, a gym and a yoga studio are a 5 minute walk away. Everything is with-in reach without being right on top of you.
I truly wish I could have stayed longer in Villa de Vientos. It is my favourite of all VRBO rentals - a large, airy, happy villa in the lovely town of Bucerias. I hope to return to it soon.

Spacious Home / Perfect for Large Family
The gardens were beautiful and well kept, we enjoyed the space that the house offered. We're a family that likes to cook so we were happy to find that the kitchen was stocked with cookware, large platters and seasonings to make it easy for us. The security gave us peace of mind and the layout and decor of the house was just beautiful. The management lady was really fast at responding whenever we had a question while we were in the house. We emailed her for random questions while we were staying and she usually responded within 30-60min. We enjoyed our stay in your home and hope to come back to Bucerias soon.

Dreamy Vacation Home
We had a wonderful time at Villa de Vientos, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation house. Each corner of the house is a work of art from the tiles to the colorful walls to the beautiful artesanía. It's also completely functional and comfortable. Wi-fi worked great, the pool was always clean, loved the water filter, the rooms were comfortable, and instructions worked for everything. Great location and felt very secure.

Family get together
An excellent place for our family to get together. We had 4 young grandchildren from 2 to 6 with us. They enjoyed the pool and spacious yard and lawn area. We all loved the house and the beach, a short walk away. Teresa and Elma, the housekeepers, where fantastic. Nancy the propery manager, with some help from Denny, took care of us from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. Thanks so much. The home itself is beautifully designed and well appointed. Spiral stair case to the roof is definitely not child friendly so we just blocked it off with suitcases, no problem. The first step into this spacious beautiful Spanish home set the tune for a memorable Mexican family vacation. Bucerias is a great place for tourists with great restaurants and fun bars with very friendly and helpful staff. We just love the place! Thank you Gretchen for sharing your sanctuary with us.

Our stay at Villa De Vientos was wonderful. The home is spacious and comfortable. The pool and back yard were so relaxing. We loved watching all the birds and iguanas in the trees. As for security we felt very safe and had no problems whatsoever. We went out to Punta De Mita and went whale watching and snorkelling. The whale watching was spectacular as was the snorkelling. We'd recommend the artisan market on Sundays in La Cruz. Another great location to explore. We took the local bus into Puerto Vallarta and to Sayulita. Our favorite restaurants were Karen's Place and Sandrina's. The only negative we had was that the fourth bedroom has an uncomfortable hard double bed on the main floor. Whereas the 3 upstairs bedrooms all have king size beds each with their own bathroom. We would recommend this villa for 3 couples.

Perfect getaway
There were 8 of us (including 2 small kids) and we spent 9 wonderful days in a small town, very close to a very safe sandy beach in a cosy villa. We would like to thank the owner, the manarger, and all the help people: gardeners, cleaning lady, and the cooking ladies, for making our family reunion an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful Property
We just returned from a 8 night stay. The kitchen had everything you needed. Private baths for each bedroom was a plus. The back yard and pool was the best, we spent many days in the pool and nights sitting on the patios by candle light.
Only a block from beach. There are so many restaurants.
The staff was great!
