H4101 - Harbour Place Hideout
Harbour Place #4101 is non-smoking & does not allow guests to bring pets. The condo is an end-unit and is located on the first floor with elevator access. There are 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, accommodating 6 people, and offers one covered parking space for vehicle or golf cart (2 vehicles permitted in total). Trailers/Boats/Jet-Skis cannot be stored under the building and must be kept off-site unless placed in a dock space. A slip can be rented on the Marina from the ship store or a canal slip by the Pirate's Cove office (30') can be rented from the Realty office. Master Suite has a King bed and walk-in shower in their ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom holds a Queen bed and the 3rd bedroom offers 2 Twin beds, sharing a hall bathroom. Living space offers plenty of seating and large flat-screen TV. Dining area seats 6 with additional seating at the peninsula. There is high-speed WiFi making work & play a breeze on your vacation. Furnished deck offers a stunning view of the charter fishing fleet. Soak up the sun by our community pool, get your heart-racing in our fitness center, or take a stroll around our community using the miles of lighted dock. This property is designated as Vacation-My-Way, meaning it allows flexible stays with a 3-night minimum (7-nights required 2nd full week of August).

Perfect OBX Location
The rental/check in and check out process was very easy. After checking in I felt the description of the unit could have included the sleeper sofa which was a surprise and very much needed as the twin beds desperately need new mattresses and our TV did not work in that room. I alerted the office and they sent a technician and when we returned, (had to leave him alone due to Covid), it was not fixed. I called again and the lady said she would call me back about it and never did. So we watched in the living room. I would also add photos of the bathrooms. People do make decisions based off them. The master has a big tub and separate shower and lots of counter space with 2 sinks. The 2nd is your standard bathroom and very functional but no counter space for toiletries.
The unit needs a Keurig. My elderly father has to drink decaf due to his heart, so having to wait between pots was not optimal especially for my elderly mother in law. Plus, the Keurig is much neater to use. No coffee grounds or drips on the floor going to the trash.
We were told to bring our own blankets, comforters and pillows due to Covid and theirs would be locked up in the unit. We did as instructed ( that is a lot to travel from Alabama with for a king bed, queen and 2 twins) When we got there we went to hang up clothes and saw the pillows and comforters easily accessible. The elderly family members forgot they couldn't use them, but did. I so wish they had been locked up and pray they do not get sick.
We loved having an elevator to our 1st floor unit. Great for bringing in the luggage and for our parents.
The unit and porch were clean for the most part, but they forgot to sweep the pantry and porch. We all agreed the cushions were ready to go to cushion heaven and new ones brought in.
This doesn't pertain to the owner...the complex needs to spray and control the roach like palmetto bugs. We found a few dead ones in the unit upon entry in a few places. At night the decking around the front door and breezeway are crawling with them. Again, a complex issue.
Overall. Awesome time. Awesome location and Awesome amenities.

Great rental!
We had a great time in Pirates Cove at this rental. The view of the marina from the windows and balcony was lovely. The condo was very well kept, clean, and beautifully decorated.

Great Location and Amenities
This was a great place and I appreciated the elevator for those with mobility issues in my party. Pirates Cove is a very nice community, we enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach.
