really nice hotel

the hosts were so lovely, especially the mum with “a little English”! location and the views from the rooftop were great - much better than the pictures. good wifi, hot shower

the hotel next door plays music until 11/12 but it seems to only be the weekend, better than the noise of traffic at least

Very good

I liked the location, which is in front of the old city, on the other side of the lake. It is generally quieter and , in a short, walking distance.

That the roof was empty, and there was no food/drinks available... but as it is close to everything else, it's not really an issue

Excellent location, excellent service

The proprietors were so nice. When I arrived, there was no kettle in the room. I asked for one, and the lady said it would be coming soon. Then she brought me a thermos of hot water that was hot enough for making tea and coffee. In the morning, I was given an electric kettle. It was still in the box, and it looked like it was brand new. When it was time to leave, I couldn’t get an Uber to come all the way to the guest house, so the proprietor arranged a taxi for me for only a little more money, that picked me up at the door and took me to the airport. The location was great, the room was nice, and the service was outstanding!

It was a little noisy in the evening due to music from nearby establishments, but if you want to be within walking distance of everything, that’s a price you have to pay.

Pleasant

Location was good. Room was clean. Host let us stay a half day because of a night train at a discounted rate.

In our 4 days we very rarely saw anyone, it just seemed a little hard for initial communication although when needed there owners son did come by. The Wi-Fi provided did not work in our room only. We tried the roof the ground floor the hallway with no problem, but not our room. Usually I wouldn’t care as Wi-Fi hasn’t worked in other hotels during our stay throughout India and other countries abroad, but the hotel had a second Wi-Fi option with full coverage in our room that could not be given out for some reason. Also given that I only saw one other guest during our stay maybe we could have moved rooms.. Overall ok stay, just not the best ..

Superb

Rooms are clean ,the owner of the property is humble and sweet. You can ask anything anytime.

There is no hanger in the bathroom to hang clothes and no facility to dry wet garments.

Very close to the ambe ghat and a walkable distance to all the nearest attractions.Rooms had the lake view as promised.evrything was super clean and neat.

The USP is the location & owner

The location of the property is very prime ! You have all the major attractions & restaurants nearby, the owner is very helpful

The layout of the room ! The exhaust fan of the washroom is in the room so it kind of is a turn down for my stay

Large room with balcony and awesome view from Terrace

Very good location, Big room with balcony. And the lake view from terrace was awesome. The guest house is managed by family and they all were to good to talk and welcoming. I am also Thankful to Bhupendra bhai for saving my money.

No parking space, though it is problem with all the hotels or guest houses there.

Good and pleasant stay in Udaipur.

Location was superb. 99% of the places were in walkable distance. The Host (ShayamLal) was very helpful in arranging all the things needed(Cab, Auto, Bikes for rental and Food) at very affordable prices. He also told us what places to visit and how much will it cost approximately.
