Good location and lovely pool!

The breakfast was not up to standard and the choices were extremely limited. The staff were not hygiene trained as they kept touching our food with their hands.

Exceptional

Owners and staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The room was beautiful and uniquely decorated. Clean and big pool! Would highly recommend staying here!

Pleasant

Very beautifully decorated hotel. Good price and the location. All tourist attractions are reachable by walking (10-20 min)

The hot water wasn’t consistent and in general it was very cold in the bathroom due to the ventilation fan that directly outside. We were planing to leave very early in the morning and the receptionist offered to pack breakfast for us however the next day in morning the new receptionist wasn’t aware of that and we never got the food.

So Happy We Chose this Havelli

Everything about our stay was fantastic. We loved the paintings on the ceilings, walls, around doorways. The pool area and courtyards are so very well designed. The management and staff make you feel so welcome and really at home. It is so very easy to recommend Mahendra Prakash.

Amazing Hospitality in a Beautiful Hotel that feels like home

There are plenty of things to like about this property. Firstly the staff is super courteous and nice- so warm and hospitable. The lady and the two gentlemen at the reception were always super helpful. The check in was seamless and the room was clean and beautiful. The ambience of this hotel is super stunning and the fact that they maintain it well is so nice. The breakfast was decent and the dinners at the hotel was nice. Special mention to Bhupendra and Kalpesh for being lovely hosts at the dining area. Really grateful for all their hard work. I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the lady at the reception who was kind enough to lend her phone charger so we could charge our power bank. This hotel is located close to the city hall, lakes, mandir and the popular ghats. Such amazing service and hospitality for a very reasonable price. Well done, team for making our stay in Udaipur a lot more memorable!

Everything was as per the expectations. All minor issues were resolved quickly. Would love to stay here again in the future and recommend it to others!

Everything was great! The hotel staff, especially Mr Mahipal Singh were so hospitable and kind. The swimming and breakfast area is so nice, there is a gentleman playing a soothing musical instrument at breakfast each morning, they even have the cutest inhouse turtle who is so friendly and not afraid of people. The property is close to everything!

A Haven

I stayed here 9 years ago and remembered it fondly. I was part of a two-family stay and we (4 adults and 4 under 15) were very happy with our stay in this wonderful haveli. This weekend I was able to take a friend and stayed at Mahendra Prakash again. I was delighted that our stay was all the things I remember from last time. Incredible rooms and a gentle wake up from the sound of the sarod each morning. (The gentleman who plays has been playing there for 20 years.) A wonderful pool, great breakfasts, and incredibly friendly and obliging staff. The place is serene...a haven.

We liked everything about the place. The place was clean and beautiful, the people were courteous and really helpful. Pool experience was extraordinary. The staff was super polite and food was delicious

The showers need to have a mechanism for the water not to spill over and get the whole bathroom wet.

No room service. Have 2 go 2 dining hall everytime for food. Pool access is only between 10am - 6pm.

In short the stay with the hotel was awesome, We as a couple really enjoyed the ambiance.

The Hotel was really good and staff was friendly. Location of the hotel is very good all kind of transport are easily available.

Just one thing which i would recommend the hotel that light in rooms are very low, so please look after it.

My stay with HMP was absolutely amazing. We felt like home while staying in Mahendra prakash. Small small things were very well taken care by hotel staff. Spaecial thanks to GM Mahipal Singh and Dharam from the hotel staff. Hotel location is added advantage as it's close to City palace. All the rooms are spacious and quite clean.

Recommended place for Udaipur visitors looking for a small Hotel in an proper state

Family owned place with a lot of love to details. Very friendly and supporting staff. Fair prices and very tasty food. Been there several times and always like to go there again! A recommendation for all travelers who want to visit Udaipur. The park is just opposite the street and the city palace around the corner and the city a 10mins foot walk away.

No complains at all!

Overall a beautiful place, location fabulous. If you have a bad back; ask about bed.

The location was very close to the city palace and the main tourist area.. yet quiet in the morning and safe to walk on the street.

The only issue was the pool hours of which after asking the management let us swim in the pool to accommodate our schedule. The bed was too soft and I was unable to have a good sleep over the 3 evenings.
