Lovely basic apartment close to the beach and meta centre, easy links to sorrento.

Spacious apartment, this was just a base for me as my friends were staying at a nearby hotel for a wedding so was perfect.

Church bells every 15 minutes took some getting used to. The area is very quiet so I heard every noise and didn’t sleep through most nights.

Быстрое заселение. Парковка за воротами за 5€. Интересное старинное здание. Из коридора и общей крыши видно море. Просторно. Кондиционеры быстро нагрели помещение. Есть мини-холодильник, чайник. Хорошее белое постельное бельё и полотенца.

Между вами и соседним номером запертая дверь и слышимость 100%. Хорошо, что спальня в противоположной стороне за отдельной дверью. Каждые 15 минут звонит колокол соседней церкви. Заезд во двор очень узкий, на большой машине я бы не рискнула.

Appartamento in tipico stile Sorrentino, molto particolare l’ingresso

Purtroppo la posizione è nel centro di meta e quindi se si ha un suv o un auto grande bisogna destreggiarsi tra i vicoletti ma niente di che se si ha praticità nella guida

Spacious room with good facilities

Maria was very good at giving instructions on how to arrive because the tiny streets were very confusing. Huge room with living room area. Comfortable beds. Secure parking for €5

Wish there was a kitchen with essentials in there as there's definitely space for it. And wish there was a lift because with luggage it's difficult to take the stairs. The apartment is quite above sea level so you have to walk down loads to the beach and walk all the way up.

Perfect location&nice town.

Very nice place - center of a small town, very close to the beach, sparkling clean room, TV, kettle, small fridge, dishes, cutlery, electric hotplate (we didn't use), tables & chairs and sunbeds in the yard. There are mosquito nets on the windows. Easy check-in, very responsive hostess.

To leave, one night is not enough.

La pulizia lasciava un po' a desiderare. Alcune cose erano comprese,come acqua,sapone, e carta igienica ma in realtà non c'erano.L' host ha compensato,dopo averlo fatto presente,e gliene siamo grati,ma bisogna prestare piu'attenzione ai dettagli.

Value for money

It was a pleasant stay in a nice old building, well-maintained. The room was spacious. There was private parking on the premises which gave us peace of mind. The streets are extremely narrow to reach the house by car and google maps didn't help, so, Maria came and found us to give us the key and show us how to enter the building. She was very kind and gave us information about restaurants, supermarkets, buses etc. They also clean the room every day if you need to.

l'emplacement superbement situé, la gentillesse de Maria qui a tout fait pour rendre le séjour plus agréable

l'odeur laissé par les locataires précédents (morceaux de fromage cachés et pourris), le faible niveau d'équipement pour le prix, la vieillesse du mobilier disponible (chasses de terrasses cassées, absence de parasol,...)

Superb

We traveled with my family and rented two adjoining apartments. The location of the apartments was very good, close to the beach. The train station was about a 15-minute walk from the accommodation. We were in Sorrento in about 10 minutes by train, and Pompeii was about a 30-minute train ride away. The apartments were clean and spacious, with a huge rooftop terrace. The host, Maria, was very kind and flexible.

The equipment was a bit lacking.

Beautiful place that is close to local beach/restaurants and bus stop.

This place was lovely, we had a beautiful balcony view overlooking parts of the town and water. The AC unit worked well and the place itself was very pretty. The location is very close to a local beach where we went swimming and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which was phenomenal to get to Sorrento quickly and easily.

Nice suite in beautiful place.

Beautiful balcony with decent view. Spacious suite that was very comfortable. Allowed us in a little early which was appreciated.

Bed mattress is extremely firm. Our suite was on third floor with no elevator. Not a problem for us but something to consider.

Genuine review: Avoid at all cost!!!!

The proximity to the beaches.

Be aware:The apartment is not what it looks like in the pictures. AVOID booking this place! We stayed at the Narciso apartment for 3 nights (thank God no more), 3 adults and 2 children. The whole apartment is very dated. When we arrived it was not cleaned properly, we had sand everywhere on the sofa and chairs. The owner has done a very cheap and quick refurbishing job just to take a few pictures and post them on booking.com. That is what really fooled me. The top floor has a metal railing as protection, my daughter leaned on it and the rail bended. When touching it, it was literally moving, completely unsafe! Pls AVOID if you are planning to come with your family, cancel your booking if you can, this is not a good place for children. These people are only after money, they don’t care about the well-being of their guests. The toilet is disgusting, it has limescale built inside as big as an apple, all brownish, Awful! The toilet’s flush didn’t work, kept getting stuck! Shower didn’t work, when on, it was either too cold or too hot. Shower head very old, full of limescale. Only one hook to hang towels, the other one was broken. Not a single shelve in the shower. My daughter got stuck inside the bathroom as the handle came off the door. Walls were coming apart a bit everywhere, I think the whole house is humid and that is the result of it. Mosquitoes nets were broken - Walls WERE absolutely NOT sound proof opposite to what it is mentioned in the description of the place on booking website. This apartment has a door in the living room that divides the apartment from another one. They basically made 2 flats out of one. It felt like the people in that property were staying with us, it was insane, the first night they were so loud that they woke everyone up at 2:30AM. We could hear everything they were saying. The door and walls were that thin!There is a bell in front of the building that goes off every 15 mins. Ants everywhere even in the bed. And much more.

Would probably stay here again

Maria is an amazing host, very attentive, gives you all the tips for a comfortable stay in the area. She’s ready to help whenever you ask for something. She let us in at 10:30am (even though the room wasn’t ready yet) and gave us time to get ready and go, while leaving the bags in the room. The room was super clean and nice, huge rooms with comfy bed and a sofa that folds. You can go to a bus stop in 10 minutes that takes you to Amalfi coast, or Meta train station, which is also around 10 min walk away, to go to Sorrento (or Naples). Got a supermarket 5 min walk away.

There is a bell tower right in front of the windows, and it goes off every 30 min or so… Closing the windows doesn’t help much, so you can still hear it. It was not a problem for me cause I was staying in another room, plus I use ear plugs. But my friend that stayed in the main room next to these windows, was not happy about the sound. Another thing about the noise is not enough soundproofing. A baby was crying in another room one night and we could hear it way too much. Also, make sure you ask for the number of the host cause Booking has listed a different number, so you can text her when you arrive to check in on time.

Superb

Nice apartment complete with all the essential accessories. Second bed, wasn't so much comfortable, but it is OK for 1 or 2 nights. The host is very kind and always available, welcomed us on the check-in. She gave us few advices were to go and where to eat. Facility has private parking for the car (additional 5 eur per day).

Sometimes, a strange smell could be felt in the room, most likely from the humidity, but it is not something that you should care about it.

Peaceful and beautiful.

Lovely place to stay - good location and more than enough space for 2. Beautifully decorated old building and spacious. Had a washing machine and great outside area. Great outside sitting/dining area. Close to supermarket, train, beach. Great calm location if you prefer to be away from the busier Sorrento area.

Just a bit chilly at the time of year (although we had a fan heater and air con heating). Be perfect cool place in warmer temperatures. The chiming clock (every hour and at 15 minute intervals) took a bit of getting used to 😀 For larger groups, the three upper rooms are all linked - they aren’t separate rooms which wasn’t an issue for us but something to know.

Quiet place in a busy region

Quiet place in a busy region. Spacious appartment, large terrace.

Shower reminded me to Latin America: clogged shower head, weak water flow, changing temperature from icy cold to almost boiling warm. Though nice, the appartment didn’t look so pretty like at the photos. Declared as Sorrento, but in fact located at Meta which is not a part of Sorrento. Even if not far, you cannot simply walk there along the coast due to ragged rocky terrain but you have to take train or bus.

Central location close to the seaside

Super location, great host, good place to stay at - having a washing machine was fantastic. Supermarket, café, etc. are located within 5 minutes walking distance (check the opening hours eight at the entrance, as google doesn't always have the latest info!). If you want to use the stove, check whether there are matches to light it up.

Nothing that we would have disliked, but the gate to the parking area is very loud if the windows are open and the clock-tower (church) lets us know the exact time in every 15 minutes.
