Alles prima

Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Spühlmaschine - ausreichend Geschirr - alles prima.

Gradevole soggiorno in costiera

Appartamento con una camera da letto matrimoniale spaziosa, zona giorno con cucina ben attrezzata e divano letto ampio e comodo, bagno grande e ben attrezzato. Appartamento molto curato, dotato dei comfort necessari e con molti spazi x riporre/appoggiare le cose. Proprietario/gestore molto disponibile e cortese. Posizione in centro paese, vicino a bar, ristoranti e servizi.

La casa dovrebbe essere gestita meglio. Peccato.

L' abitazione sarebbe anche molto carina e spaziosa ...... peccato tutto il resto!

Pessima la cura della cucina: biancheria trovata sporca, pentole e stoviglie in genere sporche, prodotti alimentari trovati aperti e consumati parzialmente, frigo sporco. Tappezzeria del divano completamente macchiata. Nonostante le nostre segnalazioni dal primo giorno, nessuno si è fatto vivo, nemmeno alla nostra partenza!!! Poi molto lontano dal parcheggio, secondo piano senza ascensore con scalini molto alti, quindi molto scomodo da raggiungere.

Bad experience for us!

It is bigger than the usual hotel room but it is not functional.

Firstly, there was no reception, we had to check in at a shop nearby! Also there were no toiletries provided as you would expect from any accommodation, we had 3 pax staying for 3 days and we were only given 1 toilet roll to use and 1 small bath soap and shampoo. There was a kitchen in the house but no kettle to boil water! We were not able to contact anyone during our stay except to go to the shop during shop opening hours and they closed for 2.5 hours during lunch. We tried to buy the toiletries nearby but cannot find any supermarket or convenience stores nearly. In addition the house is very far from the popular tourist attractions so getting to and fro was extremely difficult to say the least!

very cosy, clean apartment in city center

Everything was more than perfect. Host was very nice,even we was very late she was trying to help us get to right place. Flat was beautiful, very clean and cosy. Kitchen fully equiped, nothing was missing. To the beach is about 10-15 minutes walk downhill and back is possible to take bus. Flat is in the city center, about 6 minutes to train station. Vietri is beautiful, we fall in love with it.

We had 3 fantastic weeks using Vietri as a base to visit local beaches and siteseeing.

Vietri is a lovely town with beautiful shops and excellent restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the hosts dealt with our questions and helped us find out about places to visit etc There is a great ferry service to all the main Amalfi coast locations and this is much easier and cheaper than using your car or a taxi. We love Italy and the Amalfi coast and would visit again.

Parking in Italian seaside locations is always difficult and expensive. We were fortunate that Kallion House can provide secure parking a short walk from the property. We would highly recommend this as public parking at popular times in Vietri is really difficult.

A very enjoyable break would have liked to stay longer.

great location in centre of town but quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable with good facilities. Helpful host always available if needed. Place very clean on arrival.

Sorry being English would have liked a kettle!

Beautiful apartment!

A beautiful apartment with a beautiful view of the costal cliffs surrounding Vietri from it’s balcony! The interior is super nice too and it’s fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great - right in the heart of town and about 5 minutes walk to the train station and ten to beach.

It was hard to dislike anything but (personally) the bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was a memory foam type mattress. Also, the shower would stay hot for only a few minutes before then running cold.

One of our best booking.com experiences ever.

We loved everything - and we are planning to visit Vietri and stay at this apartment again.

We've enjoyed absolutely everything, but for some guests the elevated location (relative the sea beaches) may pose a bit of a problem, especially on the hotter days.

Could not have been better!

The location is super nice in offseason, feels super authentic! Its super close to the Amalfi coast, everything is super easy to reach by car and public bus, also Pompeii.

Amazing experience

The flat is centrally located, a few minutes walk from the train station (Naples-Salerno routes. There’s a lift connecting the station to the town). The flat is placed in the main road (almost fully pedestrian reserved), with shops and groceries a stone-thrown away. The flat itself is absolutely amazing: newly refurbished, it’s decorated in the typical Vietri style with the blue tiles all over. The living room is massive and there’s a little balcony where you can have a glass of wine in the evening enjoying the fresh breeze. Very well equipped you just need to fill the fridge with the local delicious food; restaurants are also downstairs. We’ve booked it for 2 people, but I think that the sofa in the living room can be opened for 2 kids, so it is still comfortable for a family of 4. The flat is facing the back of the building, so you will not hear a single noise from the main road. Beaches can be reached on walk (Crestarella beach 10 mins walk) or by local buses to Marina di Vietri where the lidos are. Bear in mind that Vietri, as all costiera amalfitana villages, is built on the side of a mountain, therefore the town is not flat: you have ramps and stairs so it might be difficult if you have reduced mobility. The flat itself is on the second floor: I’ve read reviews of difficulties because of “lots of stairs”. Personally I think that it’s absolutely doable and there are not that many steps, but again if you have reduced mobility or you’re travelling with children in a prom, there’s no lift. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, provided all the information and suggestions you might need. We had an amazing time in this flat and we will definitely chose it again in the future.

We loved it! We didn't want to leave!

Definitely, better than we expected!!! It's a spacious and so comfortable place for a couple. Everything was clean, we had more towels than we need and the decoration was perfect (now, we wanted the same decor at home ehahaha) The apartment seems to be just refurbished and the location is perfect: even Vietri sul Mare is not in the middle of the Amalfi coast, the bus stop to reach Amalfi/salerno is 3 minutes walking from the apartment and the train station is 8 minutes.

Everything was perfect but we missed some details at the kitchen: a kettle, a bigger knife for cooking.... only details!! Good to know that the keys must be collected in a store, is just 100 meters from the apartment
