The apartment is nestled in the historic Willmore City district of Downtown Long Beach. One mile from the Convention Center, and a short walk to the train station and city bus stops. Grab a 10 minute Uber to the beach or Pike Outlets. Off-site parking available.
If you need anything during your stay, the property manager is nearby.
The 1-bedroom home measures at just over 1000 Sq ft. The large living room can also be easily transformed into another sleeping space by accessing the queen sized, cabinet murphy bed.
The kitchen boasts much of its original charm! However, you will also have brand new large and small appliances, cookware and dinnerware. The dining area is small but quaint and resembles a miniature café with bar style seating for four.
There are two air conditioning units in the apartment, a portable one in the living room and a window unit in the master bedroom..
The entire apartment is available for our guests.
We live nearby and are available via Airbnb messaging if you need anything during your stay.

Located right off the 710 freeway, just 30 minutes from both Disneyland and Downtown Los Angeles in light traffic. If you plan to stay in the city and want to avoid parking challenges, then public transit, Uber and Lyft will allow you to easily visit any of our nearby attractions!

You will be on the north end of Downtown Long Beach. The convention center and Long Beach airport are minutes away. You will also be nestled right between both Los Angeles and Orange County, so you get the best of both worlds!

There is no off-street parking for our building, but free street parking is available. If you ever have an issue finding street parking you can use our garage parking, free of charge! Just let us know if you plan on driving and we will send you the access information after booking.
As with any beach city or downtown area, you may have to search awhile for a spot on the street and walk a few blocks, especially as it gets later in the day. Please check signs for street sweeping schedule to avoid a ticket.
- Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotel requirements, we ask that guests provide a copy of their government Issued ID and matching selfie. You will be given the option to either purchase a damage waiver at a non-refundable rate of $35 per stay, or provide a fully-refundable $500 security deposit. Please note that there is a non-refundable processing fee of $2 with the security deposit option. These measures are used to prevent fraudulent reservations, for identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.
- Since this is an apartment, we are surrounded by neighbors. Please be respectful of their homes and keep the noise level low.
- Absolutely no parties, events or gatherings without the host's prior consent. No more than 4 people are allowed inside the unit at any time. We charge $100 per person, per booked night for any additional guest that is not included on the reservation.
- Sleeping on the sofa is not permitted. Please use the 2 available beds only.
- Guests are not allowed on the roof of the building under any circumstances, it is private property that is not owned nor managed by the host. Accessing the area can be unsafe due to lack of railings. Host is not responsible for any incidents that may occur by accessing the space.
- Children are not permitted on the staircase behind the building due to the steep incline. We strongly advise only using the back staircase when absolutely necessary. Guests agree to use the handrail and use safety precautions when doing so.
-Exterior cameras are monitored to ensure accurate guest counts.
- Please treat our place kindly and clean up after yourself. We do ask that you remove your shoes and try to keep the space in similar condition to which you found it. Our cleaning fees are based on the expectation that guests do some general tidying up before their departure. In the event that the housekeeper discovers an unreasonable mess, an excess cleaning fee in the amount of $150 will be charged to the guest.
- Our cleaners are very busy with multiple turnovers each day. We charge $20 for each 20 minutes, to our guests that checkout late without prior approval.
- For reservations longer than 14 days, one mid-stay cleaning is required for every two weeks of your reservation. We will send you a separate request for payment of the additional cleaning fee(s) after your reservation has been made. This will be invoiced at the same rate as the cleaning fee associated with your reservation. If you prefer a specific date or time, we will do our best to accommodate you based around our cleaning schedule.
- Please be mindful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. We provide grey washcloths to remove makeup and white washcloths for bleaching products. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest.
- No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes allowed on the property (either indoors or in the entry way). Please feel free to partake in these activities on the sidewalk off of the property.
-No candles or or any other open flames permitted at anytime. We do provide flameless candles on the property.
- Accidents happen. If you do happen to stain or break something during your stay, please notify us immediately via the Airbnb message system. We almost always have guests checking in and out on the same day. By notifying us in advance of any damages, we will be able to make sure the home is in proper order for the following guest.
- Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. However, regardless of the time, please keep noise to a minimum and be respectful of our neighbors.
- Sometimes unexpected events can interrupt travel plans. We strongly recommend purchasing CFAR travel insurance.
- A single parking pass for a nearby parking garage is provided as a courtesy. Please return the pass upon checkout so that it is available for our next guest. Failure to return the parking pass by checkout time will result in a $50 fee.
- ***The host/owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. Property was in a very convenient place to downtown sites and restaurants. Close to the port and to the Queen Mary and Long Beach Airport. The only issue I had; I have more everywhere I go. I am allergic to "Weed", even second hand. The fumes were coming up through the vents from downstairs. We closed the doors to the little home office and that helped some. We did not use the filter thing on the wall in the living room by the Murphy bed, because we weren't sure if it was a filter. I would stay again though and recommend to others

Place is very vintage and beautiful. Had a nice window to show the street of Longbeach. Since it is a very old house, they included portable a/c which can be noisy but works great. Floors are creaky. Great spot to be close to places but street parking is competitive, especially on cleaning days. Make sure to look for street signs for them because I didn't see any and got a ticket. Communication with host was great the night before our arrival since we asked to check in early but not the best the day of. We were exhausted from our flight and the host did not respond fast enough to check in early for 2-3 hours. I enjoyed the layout of the apartment and was able to cook the things I wanted which was a plus.

Visiting Long Beach for the first time for a convention. The location of this rental was about one mile from the convention center, which in the gorgeous May weather, made it a delightful walk. Local and walkable to restaurants, grocery, drug store, night life, beach, aquarium, playgrounds, etc. even with a 2 and 4 year old.
The unit itself is MORE spacious than the pictures indicate which was a really pleasant surprise. Kids loved the hidden Murphy bed in the cabinet. FireStick with Netflix, Disney+, etc. in several rooms. Office spaces were a bonus. Kitchen is fully stocked with nonperishable condiments, as well as snacks, tea, coffee, popcorn. Eating nook was cute and homey. Bedroom and bed was comfortable with plenty of closet and shelving/drawers. Laundry room complete with detergent to help manage needs in that area. Bathroom with backups and extras that went forgotten perhaps - toothbrushes, shaving cream, sunscreens, first aid, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, tampons/pads, even Tylenol!
I felt safe, happy, and enjoyed my stay here with my family. No concerns as a 36yo female walking after dark. Kids and husband had a blast too. If we are ever back to Long Beach, will book again without hesitation. Thank you for a great stay, Greta and Hiplandia!

The apartment was beautiful. Just like the pictures! We had everything we needed & she gave restaurant recommendations that were super tasty! There was plenty of room & the neighborhood way so nice. Misleading Fees
Beautiful home. Nice location.
Confused about cleaning charges when you are required to clean, hand wash dishes and take out trash. Floors so dirty my socks were black. Also charged $45 extra for "updating the itenarary" for adding an adult to the stay when the itenarary was never actually updated.
