The Place was a different one

Location is amazing, it’s beach front, and it’s a cozy place to stay
They have only one bathroom and it is shared with the restaurant, which is very uncomfortable both for taking a bath and for doing your needs, they also have a drag show every night until very late, which was not a problem for me because I can sleep with music but not I recommend it if you want to rest,

All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! I felt very welcome, and everyone was patient with my broken Spanish and it was good practice. It was so great to have breakfast included, and be right on the beach. I wasn't bothered by the late-night music or parties because I was also staying out late, and when I came back it was quiet by 1:30am or 2:00am. I think the latest the music went was 2:30am. The bed was actually very comfortable with four pillows, a fan, and two towels provided. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves was so nice.
The floor of the room was always a bit sandy. Of course, it is right on the beach so that is inevitable, but I wish there was a way to wipe my feet before going into the room. I also wish there was a bedside lamp for nightime instead of only one overhead light, but during the day there is enough natural light. But those are only small things, I would still return.

Really comfortable beds, friendly employees, tasty and big breakfast. Sits on the beach which is great.
Rooms sit above the bar which is open til 3am most days so you will need earplugs.
There is also only one toilet for the whole place and the sink is out in the open so you basically have to brush your teeth on the dancefloor. I think a separate shower and toilet area for hotel guests would be nice.
Also worth noting it's very hard to find from the street, much easier from the beachfront.
Overall, it felt very expensive for how small it is and how little you get other than the plus of a beach front property.

The staff was the most kind people un zipol
Anything, I love everything

Nice if you just want to have a cheap place to crash directly at the beach.
Other then the description on booking may suggest, it is not a accommodation which also has a bar, it is a bar which happens to have some rooms on top of it. This said, either party each day, or don’t sleep until they stop the music which is not earlier then 1 am. The other thing is that there is just 1 toilet for both, people who stay there and guests of the bar. It’s mostly clean unless the water is not running, which happened during my stay. Also the door broke out on the last night, letting you sit there just right in bar area… or pee in the shower, which drunk people also used to do at night.

Nothing fancy, but pictures are accurate, it's literally in the middle of everything by the beach, and the staff were very nice and super accommodating. Their bar (La Maxima) is within the same complex and hosts the drag queen shows during the week, which seemed to be the main weeknight attraction. If you're looking for peace comfort and quiet maybe look elsewhere, but if you want to be by the beach, socialize easily but not break the bank, look no further.
Wifi was very shaky, but that seemed to be a thing in the entire region.

The location is excellent and the staff very friendly. The free breakfast was better than most.
They promote themselves as having room safes. When I checked in the safe was not working and I was given many reasons why not. I was led to believe that, once the owner came that evening with the proper key, I would have access to the safe. Nothing happened that evening. When I asked again the next morning I was told none of the safes were working due to rust and moisture. Zipolite has one ATM that I know of and it is often out of service. Many of the restaurants do not take credit cards or, if they do, the cards can not be processed due to slow Wi-Fi. If I were a thief there I would figure most guests are carrying a lot of cash or hiding it their rooms.
The other thing to be aware of here is that this small hotel has a very bustling stage and a powerful sound system. Each of my three nights there the music went on (very loud) way past midnight. I enjoyed it while down watching whatever performance was going on. One night there was an excellent Drag Queen performance. But upstairs in my room the bass from the speakers was vibrating and very annoying. Bottom line: Don't stay if you like to go to bed early and/or a light sleeper. Overall I enjoyed the excitement from the crowds and the music downstairs but it is not for everyone.

proximity to the beach (ON the beach). great breakfast. good service. air conditioning.
Hard to keep sand out of the room. Loud disco and club music late into the night, since it doubles as a bar, restaurant, nightclub. Large fan had to mask some of the sound.

Right on the beach. Breakfast included and available. Bar at night catering to LGBT crowd.
Air conditioner didn’t work. Fan didn’t oscillate. Low water pressure.

the included breakfast was the only nice thing, and the location was great
Respectfully, this place needs to decide if it’s a party bar or a place which rents rooms - it shouldn’t do both or should at least be more honest about it (and reduce the room rate!). I’m a very easy going traveller and it’s one of the worst places I’ve stayed.
The room was great, and the noise at night was bearable for me, however the toilet and shower were awful to use between 8pm-8am, and someone was even peeing in the shower while the bar was open and nothing was cleaned at closing time (I know because I used the toilet in the middle of the night). I would have really liked this place if I wasn’t staying here, as the vibe was fun and the drag show was great.
if you are picky about anything AT ALL, I would not recommend both for cleanliness and value.

Breakfast was great.
Very noisy at night

location and staff
No seat on the toilet. Blender broken, issued not having Gas to cook breakfast. Their chip reader was not available to pay by credit card and knowing theirs only one atm in town I had to go the the next town over at a extra cost to get pesos to pay for my stay.

Great location.
It seemed like they did not expect us while we booked before hand. Every night at 12 they have a party which is amaaazing for 1 night but when you want to sleep it's hard.

the location. it is on top of a bar which has a music party almost daily. it’s nice in general but not when you want a good night’s sleep.
the bathroom wasn’t clean all the time and the next stall shower stinker with sewer smell I almost passed out.

Great place, lovely staff, delicious breakfast.
Beat location right on the beach line.
Bed is decent but not the best.
You really need a anti-mosquito cream

Location was great
This "house" is some sort of semi individual shack. It doesn't actually have private bathrooms. Those are shared with the people from the restaurant.

It's on the beach...the tables for breakfast are on the sand and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is delicious.Really good gay parties at night and nice atmosphere in general.
The music was loud sometimes. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place

Beachfront vibes
First impression
No seat on the toilet
Shower had an extremely heavy smell of chlorine at times
Music was over the top loud
3.5 / 5.0
Kind staff. Clean room and spacious.
Room location was situated right. Next. To. The. Bar. And while the music did eventually die down, it wasn't the easiest to get to bed.
Also the "shared bathroom" is the bar's public bathroom.

Location and being able to support the lgbt family
Not clean, not armory, not good service, ect. The property is rundown and owner doesn’t pay any attention to details at all. The place has potential with better CS and some easy details to be fixed.

gorgeous room, awesome staff, very comfortable and accommodating. delicious breakfast included. great location right on the beach. there is a bar in the same location with delicious Mezcal cocktails and it has daily drag shows at midnight.
the toilet didn't have a sit which makes it uncomfortable for the ladies and people that like to pee sitting on the toilet. the bar is right downstairs so it might be a little loud if you want to sleep before 2 am, I opted for staying at the bar till the end so this was not really a problem for me.

Location is perfect, directly at the beach and staff is very nice and warmhearted. Good place to stay if you wanna have chilled beach vibes:)
3.5 / 5.0
- staff was really friendly
- breakfast is a proper meal like you would get in a restaurant
- you get the beach chairs from the bar for free
- it’s basically a bar with three rooms in the backyard. One on the ground where we stayed and two on the top. Party went till 2am and it’s loud
- the shared bathroom is shared with all the guests of the bar. Nevertheless, I need to say it was always pretty clean
