Very good stay

Perfect home away from home, situated in a quiet zone, very spacious and having all you need for a vacation. Supermarket and a good coffee shop nearby, walking distance to the Nea Chora beach The host is always ready to help , just a Whatsapp message away and you get all the answers needed. I recommend staying here! We liked everything

A second toilet is the only thing we liked to have available, but this wasn't a big issue.

Amazing, Relaxing Stay in Chania

8 of us stayed in Anemelia and we all agreed it was the best accommodation we've ever stayed in!!! The place was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Maria is a fantastic host and even dropped over some baked goods during our trip! House is close to the beach and old town (20 min walk), and as an extra bonus there are bus stops right outside that will bring you to Platanias. 10/10, would recommend to a friend!!!

The best holiday:-) than you

Never in my life I was so satisfied with the accommodation. The rooms were perfect. The beds were confi. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Massive plus for A/C in every room. Private garden - perfect. Living room- spacious and modern. Very clean and very well equipped property. Location: Very quiet and safe. Supermarket and restaurants are very close by. Easy access to the main road where you can get buses to Chania or to the beaches. ( one tip: buy a ticket at the kiosk is cheaper than on the bus:-)) Walk distance to Nea Chora beach. Definitely see the Chania harbour. Local food was delicious. Suflaki are the best. The Host: That's the best part The host is unbelievable. I never met such a good person. Anything at any time she is available to help. You can ask anything. ( taxi numbers, direction, food delivery, anything). Maria is such an amazing person. When we arrived at the property we found in the fridge bottles of water, juice, Raki, even an ice cream that she prepared for us. She baked a lovely chocolate cake for us. She isn't just a perfect host she is also a very kind and caring person. Thank you so much Maria. We had the best holiday thanks to you. A cot, kids towels, kids blanket even a high chair for my baby was waiting for us at the house. It's been to weeks now since we are back home but we still thinking about the place. Only one regret. I wish we stayed for more than 7 days.

Great comfortable place for a family of four!

Maria is a great host. She is quick to respond via WhatsApp. She was already waiting for us and had texted us prior to our arrival to when we were going to arrive. Our plane arrived late, but we were able to get into the property with her guidance over the phone. She also gave us invaluable suggestions on where to dine/places to see. (That Neratzoula taverna from Elafonisi beach is a must) You can tell Maria cares a lot about her property Anemelia and she wants to make her guests feel welcome. It is clean, comfortable and spacious. The air-conditioning in all rooms worked which was a welcome from the June heat. Our kids were happy they each had a room (so were we). Anemelia is also a gated property, which gave us a sense of security. Pretty good WIFI too considering we had 3-4 people on devices at the same time. Though we rented a car, we also walked a lot. Old town Chania is about 20 min walking distance from her house. On the first night, we noticed the shower head in the only bathroom of the house was spraying all over the place and getting the bathroom floor wet. We texted Maria and she apologized and had it fixed in two days (she couldn't come out on a Sunday which was totally fine--it's family day) She also provided an extra rug and extra towels. At our last night, she brought over this delicious chocolate molten/lava cake that was devoured by all of us. A box of ice cream cones from a local bakery was waiting in the freezer for us too when we arrived. A nice welcome for our kids! After staying there for 6 nights, having a washer in the property was a total welcome. A suggestion--consider having directions written in English (or a translation of the functions on the machine) on how to work the washing machine for future guests--'cos it was all greek to me! lol 😉 Thank you, Maria, for making our stay comfortable. You have made our list on our best memories of Crete.

I would most definitely come back again. Highly recommend it, the host is so friendly and helpful!

The property was superb. Location is 10min walk from the nearest beach and about 20 from the town centre. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby. It is also 15min by taxi to the most amazing beach - agia marina. The property is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The host had water and ice cream for us in the fridge. You have everything you need in the kitchen. It has a big garden with a bbq . It’s perfect for a group of friends or families with children. The rooms are big with air conditioning. It’s absolutely brilliant. Also the host was super friendly and always so helpful! Thank you and would definitely stay again.

Extremely relaxing, great food wonderful people.

Our host was very helpful - quick replies to our queries and delicious treats left in the fridge. Also great advice on a nearby tavern that was invaluable as we arrived late and they still made us a gyro!!

Honestly the only thing I would say is that the shower head sprayed everywhere so it was difficult to keep the floor of the bathroom dry - I think that's a pretty easy fix!

Wonderful property a close distance from downtown Chania! Best host ever!

We loved having AC in each of our rooms, the beds were comfortable, everything was sparkling clean, parking spots made it easy to park our cars and the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She was truly the most amazing host we have EVER had! She made a chocolate cake for us that was sinfully delicious, she had goodies and water for us in the fridge that were so appreciated when we arrived. She brought fruit for us as well and we just wish we could have stayed longer! We absolutely loved staying here! We will 100% come back to stay at Anemelia's house when we return to Chania!

We wish we had another bathroom, because there were 7 of us, but we knew this upon making the reservation. Honestly, no issues at all.

Excellent and perfectly clean 3 bedroom house for the discovery of Chania. Quiet area for an evening dinner on the terras. Maria is utmost helpful and makes delicious chocolate cheesecake.

Great experience, amazing service, very nice place to stay.

Service was excellent, the house is super nice and very clean, Maria would really go out of her way to make sure our stay was pleasant and we had everything we needed.

The WIFI could be faster.
