Kult og særegent alternativ til kort opphold i Matera.

Topp beliggenhet sentralt i Sassi. Vakkert innredet rom m sjel. Kjølig temperatur i rommet selv uten air condition under hetebølge i juli. Komfortable senger.

Litt små rom i forhold til hva bildene gir inntrykk av. Ongen vinduer/utsyn.

First Time in Matera & Sleeping in a Cave (Room No 60)

Never slept in a cave before. Very unique. Great location. Room was very clean and cleaning staff were very friendly

Never slept in a cave before...very dark, a bit damp, which is to be expected. Only small door signs are allowed in Matera, so not easy to find the place as house numbers jump around. Via S.Rocco splits, so at the split near the drinking fountain go DOWN if you're looking for unit 60. Don't expect much assistance from the hotel rep to guide you either. I'm Italian & he wasn't giving me much hope in finding the place over the phone.

Plain rooms, confusing check in- limited ability to converse - but city was worth the trip

Concept of cave room was the idea - sort of worked

Long walk with confusing directions from property to get to room- rooms were plain (which is fine) but didn’t feel fresh- sheets felt like warm flannel - too warm for current weather- also flat pillows - not comfy

The location was great, the view from the window was probably one of the best in Matera, the host Nunzio was friendly and he provided tips for restaurants and parking and how to get to the hotel. Overall great stay at Cave rooms sassi.

Amazing cave room with good facilities

The host was lovely, provided lots of information and recommended a place to eat with a discount for his guests. The location was great for exploring the beautiful old town with cave homes! The room itself was beautiful. The shower and toilet were separate which is very good.

Parking was a bit difficult, but the host provided plenty of information about this, and I’m sure they can’t do much about it. There was a kettle with instant coffee, but on other places there were pod machines. I don’t mind it that much, there are plenty of cheap cafes in the town, so this is minor thing.

Magnifique séjour à Matera

La chambre est spacieuse, décorée avec goût et tres bien équipée, accessible facilement car situé au début de la zone piétonne. Literie confortable ! Accueil très chaleureux de Nunzio, nous recommandons cet établissement !

Séjour fabuleux ! Nous recommandons ce C logement, et le restaurant La Grotta Del Gusto, tout proche, typique et délicie

L’emplacement idéal au cœur du sassi cuovo, et la très belle vue depuis le petit balcon, le lit très confortable, l’accueil et les bons conseils.

Tout est parfait. Il est bon quand même de signaler que le parking est bien à 400 mètres à pied en grand dénivelé ! Et c’est plus facile par la route que par les ruelles du sassi si l’on est chargé. Mais non, c’est typique (et sportif) d’arriver par Ruelles, toutes en escalier !

Локацията е много добра - в сърцето на стария град. Домакина ни Nunzio беше много отзивчив и любезен - посрещна ни топло, разказа ни историята на мястото, препоръча ни заведения и забележителности.

Интересно преживяване, но не бихме се върнали. Запазили са автентичността на мястото и в същота време са добавили необходимите удобства, но усещането беше за капан, от който искаш да избягаш... няма топлота и уют. Може би по-добро осветление и няколко килимчета биха помогнали за повече комфорт...

Location couldn't be better if you like staying close to action and within the core. If driving, you'll have to lug luggage between 700-1000m from where you park. It was a little tricky finding the place, but we called the facility and were directed well.

Right in the middle of stunning Sassi, little, nice flat

Beautiful location in the middle of sassi, clean flat, nice details

Noisy, both from the room next-door and for the street. It needs better insolation. Smaller flat than I expected. In the photos you might mistake that the shared hall belongs to your private flat.

It was in the middle of the Sassi. The room is really authentic and very nicely done. It was beautiful and also very cool inside the cave room. The host was very nice and contacted me before our arrival.
