Excellent location for walking and hiking on the national park. Can even walk from the hotel or drive to hiking car parks. Fantastic mature and famous gardens, secluded feel to the property and best trained staff ever. Have stayed 7 times and already looking forward to our return

The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and everything is as it should be, but it’s the staff at Cellars that really sets them apart. Once you are there you feel as though you are part of the community, everyone is so welcoming and warm. Thank you for a spectacular stay (as usual!)

The most attentive and welcoming staff, who seemed genuinely delighted when they could help. Excellent food. Very beautiful setting on the E slopes of Table Mountain. Lovely gardens.
It is quite a long way to the centre of Cape Town. The hotel has an excellent taxi service but it is £30 each way. We thought the peaceful setting was well worth it.

The room was comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are beautiful! Staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Breakfasts were included with the room and dinners at The Conservatory restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced, we ate there more than one night of our stay.
There were no sheer curtains in our room so there was no privacy if we wanted the natural light to come in. It's an old building so the french doors and windows leaked quite a bit when it rained meaning we had to keep our belongings away from the windows and doors . Housekeeping was a little inconsistent in that a rag was left behind one day and service was very late on another. I did make a late booking but it took more than an hour for our reservation to be found and a room made ready. Upon checkout, they attempted to charge more money even though my confirmation email said everything was included. We had a good stay but I expect better from a hotel of this caliber.

The garden is so beautiful. The staff is really nice. The breakfast had so many options, and it was delicious. They have a nice spa and saloon .
We found the gym a bit small. The rest was perfect.

Tranquil, charming and delightful hotel.
Magnificent walks under an umbrella of foliage and shade cast by age old Camphor trees, with quite little nooks to read or just reflect.
