Great location, quiet and clean but not luxury

Location is fantastic and it's very quiet. Rooms are spacious and clean with lovely balconies. Pool is warm and shaded.

We had no hot water for the first 24 hours, on speaking to reception they said we could either wait until it was fixed (beyond the end of our stay) or leave. We were eventually offered a different room with hot water but no money back offered (despite other guests being offered compensation). Male staff member was not friendly and fairly dismissive.

Great except for pick up transfer from Retreat to Airport by Exemplar.

Ecellent service from staff ie taking luggage to and from second storey apartment, very friendly and helpful. Apartment utensils and equipment new and plentiful, for self service apartment.

Amazing peaceful little retreat right on the beach

We love staying here, it’s our go to every time we’re in palm cove! Super quiet and gorgeous gardens lush throughout! Beautiful airy big rooms easy carpark area for guests and always clean

Overall a very nice stay in Palm Cove. The beach and cafes were close.

Nice spot, just a few steps away from the beach, cafes and restaurants. Pool was great, not crowded and nicely designed. Car parking on site was useful. Room on the first floor included a lovely balcony.

Horrible bed arrangement. Two uncomfortable single beds. Coffee and tea in the room but the cheapest possible type of instant coffee! How about a small ground coffee for the French-press...at least?

Room was comfortable, pool and spa areas were great and balcony with cooking facilities were a great idea . Also great it was located so close to the beach.

Reception staff was rather unfriendly . Doesn't hurt to smile especially being in hospitality

Very good

We loved the outdoor alfesco/kitchenette. The pool area will be so good in summer with all the shady trees however the area was not in total shade. It was so convenient for all the restaurants and the beach.

The leaf blower. Whilst we appreciate this needs to be done regularly timing could be more considered and certainly the acquisition of a battery leaf blower for noise reduction.

Enjoyed our stay, location is fantastic and love the tropical feel of the property that blended in with its surroundings

Location was great, close to amenities and attractions around cairns, it was a lovely setting for the area with plenty of trees and was clean and well presented.

When we arrived it had rained heavily and the footpaths through the property were completely flooded and under water.

The pool and spa. Tropical trees made the atmosphere. Excellent location. Room had a great layout with an outdoor kitchen.

Room was dated and could do with a good clean. Spa and pool although great could do with a good clean especially the spa. ( green mould around the sides).

Palm Coves best village retreat

Fabulous location in a quiet area just a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The living room/ kitchen was spacious with a lovely balcony. Large comfy bed and a good size shower. All rooms clean andl beautifully decorated. There is a large outside decked dining area in the shade with a good size pool and spa pool The owners/managers were really helpful and I would recommend staying here if visiting Palm Cove. A bit like living in the rainforest in the town.

The only downside was the pool area which was quite shaded as the day progressed due to the tall trees.
