Disappointing hotel in a lovely place. I suspect that Covid has caused problems with their staffing.

Breakfast adequate but fruit not ripe and therefore inedible . Insufficient staff so a second coffee not possible and left and went to a cafe nearby.

Insufficient staff. The resort looks tired with rotting stairs on the outdoor staircases and deteriorating and unravelling cane on chairs outside our room.

what a way to pamper myself after a month of traveling

the breakfast was delicious, I enjoyed the granola bowl every morning. The location was great, across from the ocean and the sunday market was a bonus. The pools were beautiful and never over crowded. The laundry room was easy to use and the staff were extremely helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

At least one other meal to be included for what the cost of the stay was. My shower stall door was a bit outdated, but I'm really reaching to think of something I didn't like, as this stay was great.

Dissapointing stay in paradise!

The Reef House is in a fabulous location on Palm Beach and our stay included some lovely extras like afternoon canapés and free bike hire

Included in the relatively high daily tariff are a series of special inclusions like wine tasting and cocktail making - that’s if you can book into one. despite seeking to book into both classes on our arrival for a 7 night stay we were told no places were available! Even though we asked to go on the waiting list we were never during our stay of a vacancy - it was only when we complained to a fellow guest at the pool one day who was going to a cocktail class that afternoon that we managed to ‘jag’ access to the cocktail making class because they told the bar tender running the course about our situation. We stayed in a beachfront apartment where the floor wasn’t cleaned for our entire stay, where the spa towels were never replaced and where the shower leaked all over the floor such that you could not use the toilet until it drained away.

Exceptional

The staff were approachable, helpful and friendly. Complimentary sorbet around the pool , punch and canopies in the bar daily were such an unexpected surprise as were the chocolates and bubbles on arrival. Our holiday was the highlight of the last couple of years. We escaped unseasonal cold, rainy Sydney for 33 degree days and sunshine. We are definitely rebooking !

one of the very best places to go and chill and be pampered.

brilliant location and one of the best spots in Palm Cove to breakfast and dine with a stunning outlook. They cater to your every need and then some. Service is impeccable. Daily canap

dinner was a 2 course meal which was beautiful but for us too much food.

Loved everything. The property is beautiful, all the staff are superb, friendly and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Big thanks to Joel, restaurant manager, for finding us a table when they were full!

Perfect location. Delicious choices for breakfast. Outstanding service by all staff.

Terracotta tiles a bit grubby in bathroom and near sink. I think it’s just ground in so probably a mop wouldn’t get rid of it. Not enough places to hang wet bathers and towels. Need a couple of hooks

Everything was wonderful. The staff are lovely people, lots of different stories and backgrounds that contribute to the unique experience. The inclusions are fabulous, the pools and the pool menu feel like paradise in the tropics. We were on our honeymoon and thoroughly spoiled. Would love to return.

The hotel was overpriced as the rooms are quite aged in terms of their configuration and usability. There was no place to unpack your clothes. Although coffee/tea facilities were provided there was no practical spot to actually make any. The spa bath is way too big and takes up much needed space for other more useful things whereas the shower was tiny.

Lovely resort reminiscent of the plantation times.

I love the laid back plantation feel of the resort. the staff were outstandingly friendly and kind.

The property is getting a little tired for its price point. This is a minor point because the quality of service and food is so good.

Superb

The Reef House was a perfect stay for our honeymoon with its relaxed boutique vibe and attentive friendly staff. As soon as you walk in you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. We loved the daily activities on offer including cocktail making classes, pool side sorbet, daily cocktails and canapes at the brigadier bar, yoga etc. The Day Spa was amazing as was the restaurant for dinner (we highly recommend the degustation!). We cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are a couple looking for a relaxed stay in the beautiful Palm Cove. We had originally considered some of the larger hotel style resorts in the area however the tranquillity of the Reef House appealed to us and we are so glad we chose to stay here!
