I had a very nice time. The people were friendly and professional. Love the dining staff.

The staff, they were nice friendly and remembered me, Sarge, Ravi just to name a couple.

I enjoyed everything it was in walking distance to the mall, to good places to eat. I enjoyed everything.

Exceptional hotel to stay at and nothing is a problem when you ask the staff, well done.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. From check in to a location that was perfect, room and breakfast had everything for every nationality plus anything else you wanted was not a problem. The pool lifeguard was exceptional,always on his toes when guests would arrive at the pool and organise the towels & iced water. we will definitely stay next time we visit Dubai.

Could do with a usb power point, but just a suggestion

I stayed in this hotel for a week. It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and all the hotel employees were responsible and safe, as I lost my pen and its price was expensive. After communicating with the hotel, I went to the security deposit box, so thank you to all the staff at the hotel and I will postpone the stay.

Lovely stay would come back but after the renovation work is finished

The location was excellent near to Dubai mall and Dubai opera which we came to watch a show

The entire third floor was closed for renovation so it was loud and noisy all day. They should have informed us when we booked about the construction.

It was a pleasant stay, staff were very friendly and helpful, I will definitely be back.

It was spotless, a very centric place, walking distance from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Staff were awesome. On top of that Valet Parking is free.

What felt like home in Dubai, turned into a very unpleasant stay. Disappointing!

In the last 12 months I've spent almost 20 nights at Vida Downtown, whenever I travelled for work I used go there and feel at home. That is what made me come back. However, this time has been very different. The place was the same, the room is still nice and the location at the heart of Downtown is still one of the best.

However, in January 2024 the hotel has been acquired by Marriot Bonvoy and although they almost have not changed anything (e.g. same facilities, same staff, same services), it was a completely different experience: - The staff typical welcoming and supportive attitude was substituted by rude attitude, long faces, zero proactivity and several very unpleasant discussions with reception - They are changing systems so there were several accounting errors on our bills (and that's fine), but the staff that did not apologize for it but claimed we had to repay more than once - At the check in late at night, our booking magically disappereared and they wanted to charge us again. After saying that they would have fixed the problem the day after, they chased us and we had to discuss for the whole week about this with them claiming they had no reservation in their system - At check out magically the reservation appeared and they claimed we had to pay 2000 AED (more than 500 Euros) more for taxes that theoretically in our reservation were included Overall, these are normal problems but the attitude of the staff made the whole stay very unpleasant, and if you are paying 400 Euros a night during Ramadam and are a loyal and returning customer, you expect a premium and welcoming experience. Very disappointing and I'll make sure not come back.

Location. Close proximity to Dubai Mall. The service officer (Terry) provided some good service.

Hotel facilities. Taking a shower was challenging. The shower head cannot be adjusted so for a shorter person, the water has to turned on to a low level. The television has no connection even when turned on for 15 minutes. The kettle does not boil. On one day, bath towels and tissue paper were not replenished.

A nice comfortable place to stay and the staff were great but no wow factor to the place - 7/10.

It was a nice hotel, location was perfect across from the Dubai Mall. The breakfast was good and it was a comfortable stay.

There is no "wow" factor about the hotel. I had the King room which was small compared to other king rooms in other hotels for similar value.

you need to do something about the sink water tap distance from the sink.

bathroom setup is not convenient ( toilet chair, shower, sink and bathtub are totally seperated) the sink water tap is very close to the sink where you can not wash your hands (tight space. in the shower, the shower water spray needs to be adjustable type instead of the existing fixed water jet type.

We were happy after our room was changed.

Breakfast was very good. Location excellent for us.

We booked a Garden View room, but was allocated a room overlooking the road, which was very noisy at night. Our room was promptly changed after our complaint. The garden is just rubble and not really 'under construction'.

Hôtel confortable et agréable mais cher en saison

Hotel agréable et confortable, très bien situé près du Burj Khalifa. Parking sous l'hôtel, sans supplément. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Mauvais rapport qualité-prix, sans doute en partie en raison de la période de l'année (fin décembre). Compliqué de parquer sa voiture soi-même dans le parking. Il y a cependant un service de voiturier très efficace. Espace piscine assez étriqué (les photos sont trompeuses).
