Everyone in the hotel and pub is incredibly nice and friendly. We forgot our son's important cuddly toy on our road trip. They took great care of the little hedgehog and even sent us photos of him "having breakfast" and "playing" in our absence. This is the most touching service we ever had.. Great Stop By after the Ferry or the Tunnel.

Beautiful property with a lovely garden and the rooms are extremely clean and nice.

Generous food, very well cooked.
Lovely room. individual feel, tastefully decorated.
People wonderfully helpful, friendly, relaxed while being constantly aware of what’s going on.
Tunnocks tea cakes with coffee/ tea orders!
In the bathroom, which was otherwise very charming. Only thing I would comment on is the configuration of Bath taps on the side of the Bath where you get. In, either for the shower or a both. When you get les flexible, they pose a bit of a challenge to ensure you clear them without catching your foot.

Room was excellent
We found it difficult to choose what to eat from the menus. The breakfast cereals and yoghurt were hard to put on the plates as there wasn't enough space and not enough plates.

Excellent pub and hotel. Friendly and great staff, the owners made you feel especially welcome. there was rooms located in the main building and a few rooms located in a couple of outbuildings which I stayed in. they were perfect as they had a bit more privacy and quaintness to them. Also great food and aesthetic to the whole place.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pub was very cosy and comfortable. One of best we have visited.
Food was excellent (but rather expensive).
The room we stayed in was quiet and comfortable, but a bit on the small side.
Watch out for the 10% gratuity on the food bill.

A superb comfy room with excellent facilities. the shower was very good hot and powerful. Plenty of heat from nearby radiator should you need it. A good reception for your phone and adequate tea and coffee making facilities.

Delicious breakfast. The croissant was lovely, great choice at the breakfast buffet and the cooked meal was very good. I liked the coffee too.
Some more healthier options eg low fat yoghurt

We enjoyed everything about our three day stay. Our room was disability friendly and very comfortable and we couldn't fault our stay from start to literally finish when a staff member saw we might be struggling and without prompting carried our luggage from room to car, much appreciated.
I would be nit picking to mention anything.

Lovely place, staff welcoming and helpful, and great breakfast.
The room I had was lovely but quite small so could have done with a little more room. Would be tight for 2 people.

Great place to stay to explore, great value and the food was excellent.

Dinner was very good. Two of us, three courses, wine and a couple of other drinks, about £130, which was very reasonable for what we had.
Nothing really. The English breakfast could be a little more 'together' for me.
