I booked the room for a secret birthday celebration for my girlfriend. I contacted the hotel staffs beforehand to seek their assistance in arranging the flowers and the cakes. The staffs were very very helpful and my celebration went very smoothly thanks to them, so the service at the hotel is top-notch.
I am also very satisfied with my harborview room, it is classy and spacious, the view was breathtaking as well. The EAST Hotel overall has very nice interior designs, it is stylish, homely but dignified, typical of all Taikoo establishments. It is funny but I was blown away by the interior design of the male washroom at FEAST (restaurant of EAST), it is quite breathtaking.
I booked FEAST and SUGAR (rooftop bar) for dinner and after-dinner drinks. I particularly enjoyed the semi-buffet at FEAST, the food was excellent. I liked the all-you-can-eat fresh oysters and my braised short ribs main dish which was so full of flavor. I also liked SUGAR, the cocktails there are nice and the bar is very chill, plus the view their is excellent too.
I further want to give a shoutout to how convenient it is for me to go to Taikoo Plaza from EAST. It is just a footbridge away. This is quite wonderful as I can spend a whole day at Taikoo Plaza and return to the hotel without any need to brace the elements. When I was staying at the hotel, most of the time the weather was pretty bad; so I particularly appreciated how conveniently located EAST was.
Overall, 5/5 stars experience and would definitely recommend anyone to visit.
The music inside SUGAR is a bit too loud. Also the buffet breakfast is lacking in a tad bit of variety but it has everything common and necessary.

room was beautiful and well designed. open bathroom was actually very good. size of room spot on! the design was very well considered and the blinds and lights were very useful.
we did not have a nice view as we were in the lower floors, but thats just as it was.

the location for the hotel is excellent only a minute away from a major shopping mall and MRT. The staff are friendly. I was happy to finally see a proper hair dryer at a hotel
There was no porter and the lobby a bit lifeless even though the restaurants and bar are very lively
10.0
The proximity to public transport & the views from our room.
The pool was not open in the evenings during our stay.
8.0
Hotel location not so close to central but just beside the MTR and a good and big shopping center ..
The room was comfortable and big enough and fancy with good view for the harbour. (20th floor). The rooftop bar have a nice environment and good view.
Room with poor soundproofing, you hear a lot of noise from the corridors and other rooms. Pool hours are very limited for summer closing at 7 pm. There are tall building between the hotel and the harbour, so middle /low floor will have the view blocked.

Modern hotel with good facilities. Good location outside the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.

Great bedroom, I loved the style.
Rooftop Sugar is amazing.
Very stylish hotel.
Breakfast closes too early and same with the rooftop bar.

Great location, walking distance to our offices. Connected to the mall and MTR which is key!
The gym could be better, more spacious. I weight train so it was difficult to find mirror space.

The first of a number of hotels on our trip around Asia, we loved our stay here.
We were upgraded to a corner room and the view was spectacular, even though we had a city view. The corner meant we could look back towards the harbour.
Do use the blinds on the windows for privacy.
The location is great for what we needed - close to family, the MTR and the mall City Plaza.
The team at the front desk were amazing, the cafe downstairs great for a catch up with friends and we enjoyed a drink on the rooftop bar, Sugar.
We had an issue with the plumbing but this was resolved promptly.

Even that the bathroom is very stylish the fact that the shower doesn’t have door, makes that the floor get very wet when take a shower. Beside that the hotel is excellent!!

The hotel is extremely stylish and clean, and the staff is very attentive to our requests. The MTR station is just a step away from the hotel.
Our rate didn't include breakfast, and we're requested to pay for it in cash, which was somewhat weird given the post-Covid era and the fact that the hotel is very modern.
