The location was very peaceful. The breakfast was excellent.
We had a bit of a problem finding the farm, as there wasn't a "Laurel Farm" sign. It just said "The Courtyard".

The rooms are spacious and complement the original features of the stables I believe they were originally. It’s really peaceful and the each room is entirely self-contained.
The room could do with more lights. I stayed late November so there wasn’t much natural light, this is a small thing though.

Parking was easy and not far from the converted stable block where my room was situated. The welcome from the hosts was very good and my room was spacious and warm. The double bed was exceptionally comfy and I liked the facility of fridge and microwave, which I hadn't realised was available when I booked. There was a small kettle with various tea and coffee sachets plus fresh milk and a bottle of water in the fridge. I think I had a studio which had facilities for a disabled visitor, as the en suite was a large wet room with wheelchair access, and I understand there was a kitchen available too, although I didn't investigate that. The big shower room had a large range of towels and shampoo, conditioner, and soap bars. The TV was fairly easy to operate with good reception, although I had to search for a news channel. The breakfast was very good, in attractive surroundings in the conservatory of the owners' house. I enjoyed a full English breakfast with fruit, yoghurt and muesli and orange juice and a cafetiere of coffee.
The entrance to the farmyard has seen better days and is awaiting development of the outbuildings, which is a shame, as once inside the surroundings are very attractive, quiet and tranquil. The wifi connection in my room was a bit difficult to set up initially, as the wrong instructions were in the room and my iphone couldn't find a secure connection at all. I had to stand outside to make a phone call. The toilet flush was not quite adequate, the shower flow could have been a bit stronger (but okay) and the water ran a bit tepid in the evening.

Janet and Kevin were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was a welcome addition every morning. The accommodation was clean and inviting and the welcome tray of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and water was a very nice touch.
The accommodation was nice and quiet but close enough to nearby amenities.
The wifi sometimes switched itself off but it wasn't a problem and we could just turn it back on again.
The road surface going into the farm had some quite large pot holes which took some negotiating in the car.
There were chairs or benches outside each room in the courtyard, it would have maybe been nice to have a table as well as we would have liked to have something to rest out glasses on
