Staff, view, large (2) rooms.
Need renovation specially bathroom but even bedroom.

The hotel is very well located and it’s pretty, with a traditional style. They offer a good breakfast. The staff is very friendly, speaks English and help arrange tours and everything.
The only thing we didn’t like is that we took a taxi arranged by the hotel to the pier to take the Li River Cruise and we realized there were 3 other couples from our hotel going there in their private taxis. We could have shared instead of each couple going by themselves and spending double.

Scenic location next to Rong Lake. Hotel full of antiques as it used to be a museum. Each room had a tea room next to the window. It would have been so relaxing to drink tea, read books and enjoy the scenery. Or enjoy a stroll around the lakes. Chinese breakfast was good. Service is good
Nothing, just need to be extra careful unit to knock into the antiques

Excellent location next to Rong Lake. Beautiful room with a relaxing tea room in the room, great for relaxing, reading a book and enjoying tea. Very clean hotel full of antiques from different dynasties as this hotel was previously a museum. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy walks around the property. Good Chinese breakfast too. Real value for money!
None, just had to be careful with our big backpacks as the whole hotel is surrounded by antiques.

Muy buena atención y te ayudan a organizar las excursiones que quieres. El desayuno tiene lo fundamental para los occidentales. Está cerca de las atracciones de la ciudad.

The property was well located and the decor was great. The staff were incredibly helpful and really made our trip. Spacious rooms and well supplied bathroom.
I'm a bit fussy about pillows and there were a bit firm for my liking. Also no mini fridge in room, but not a big issue.

Aroma Tea House was very, very clean and comfy. The breakfast room has great views and the Chinese breakfast was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. Guilin is interesting and the imperial mini city and mountain, plus the sun and moon pagodas were easy walks from the hotel.

It’s rather cozy place, design of the hotel is very attractive and unusual…. Staff speak more or less good English and react to your inquiries without any delays. They arranged for me the river cruise and transfer from the airport, that was so convenient and price was affordable.
Actually, everything was ok but the absence of air conditioning in the restaurant upstairs where a breakfast was served.

A boutique hotel, close to the lakes with the sun and moon pagoudes, beautifully designed in an ancient Chinese style. The team is outstanding, eager to assist with everthing: transportation and guiding in Longji, a cruse to Yangshuo etc, with a real warm and personal attention. This was priceless to us since Guilin was our first spot in China after Hong Kong and we really needed a help. Our scores are 10 since we cannot score higher. Best hotel ever!
Nothing, it was perfect

It’s a family trip .
Staff were excellent , messages were answers promptly, and they let us view the rooms before check in ensuring we are happy with the rooms first . Room was great with the lake view with the tea station set up for resting while enjoying the view.
Maintenance perhaps needed on the air con system, it didn’t work properly in one of our room but staff was quickly responsed trying to resolve the issue. And also quickly offer us to a different room if same issue occur again . Next morning staff apologies for the inconvenience and left us a gift when we leave which was not necessary.

The location and it’s really clean in the room
A little bit small bathroom, floor with stone is not safe for kids and cold in winter.
Breakfast in the kitchen is too simple , not authentic rice noodles.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate us.
Only thing I didnt like was the light in the bathroom was super dim, think it was set for the mood but it was very dark. Also I attempted to shower at 11pm and the hot water stopped working and the pressure was almost nothing.

The property is very close to the center of the city in a quiet location facing a lake and a very nice park. The guest attention was highly personalized and extremely helpful and friendly. Our hosts really did everything possible for us to have the most comfortable stay. The hotel has a great collection of antique objects and the room was very nice, with traditional furniture and fully equipped, and had views to the green. We were there only one night because we had to go to the airport on the next day after some days in Yangshuo, but we definitely had a great stay. I would surely recommend this Hotel. Congratulations to the staff for their customer attention.

Location was fantastic, right by a lake and very central in the city. Beds were super comfortable! not a common thing in China, the staff was fantastic, clean, nice design, family atmosphere.
Breakfast was a bit small, but it basically had everything you need.
