Pésimo trato a grupos

El hotel en general es bueno, buen desayuno, buenas habitaciones.

Pésimo el trato a grupos, no respetan las reglas establecidas en booking, les interesa solo la plata y dejan a un lado la atención del cliente y sus necesidades. Lamentable con instalaciones tan buenas, que lo administrativo sea un caos. Un pequeño detalle, nosotros con nuestro grupo pedimos camas para dos personas y nos pusieron un sofá cama adicional, solicitamos los levantaran porque le quitaba espacio a la habitación, y nunca sucedió. Reitero, temas administrativos.

Good staff, good facilities ( gym needs work because stuff is broken or missing), good location in terms of safety and less noise than most places at nighttime

La ubicación, sitio bastante tranquilo para descansar.

Poca amabilidad de la persona que nos atendió en el check in, habitación demasiado pequeña para ser 5 estrellas, el aire acondicionado de una habitación dependía de accionarlo en otra sala, el basurero del baño debía ser accionado de manera manual.

Excellent breakfast! Staff are very cordial, Food in the restaurant is made healthy, not too much salt which is a plus. Room is clean and comfortable. The A/C in the room always stopped in the middle of the night so we do not have a full night sleep.

Buen lugar para descansar.

El trato del personal es excelente, habitaciones limpias, se ve que están renovando el hotel constantemente, las camas son muy amplias y de buena calidad, el desayuno muy surtido y variado.

Que las puertas y ventanas no son insonorizadas, si algún huésped llega y hace mucho ruido se escucha claramente. Pero de el resto es un excelente Hotel.

Ratas en áreas comunes y restaurante de noche.

LA CAMA DEL CUARTO ERA MUY CÓMODA.

Que luego de varios años sigue malogrado la tina de hidromasajes que está en el medio de la piscina y el sauna turco esta muy deteriorado. De noche habían demasiadas ratas corriendo alrededor de la piscina y de las áreas comunes incluso cerca del restaurante. El desayuno era muy repetido. Estuve 3 noches y sentí que casi no hubo mucho variedad, para el precio me parece muy alto la calidad que dan vs el costo.

Muy bonitas las instalaciones, la cama muy cómoda sitio tranquilo se puede descansar. Delicioso desayuno buffet todos los días fue muy variado.

At most an old 3 star hotel, until now the worst stay in my business trips to Medellín

-For this I am giving it a 2 and not a 1: the bed, the pool and the restaurant food (except breakfast)

I am never staying here again. The hotel claims to be a 5 star Dann Carlton, however from my business/leisure stays in Colombia and in general I would give it at most 3 stars, not even 4 stars: - A lot of the stuff in the hotel was old or not functioning - The breakfast is very artificial and very poor. A few more options and a better choice on the food would be better.# - The coffee tastes like instant coffee. This is really bad, especially for a hotel in Medellín, Colombia. - The rooms are not fully prepared for the arrival. Stuff was missing from the minibar upon arrival, and they thought I had consumed several things from the minibar at the end of my stay - The bathroom products were horrible: from soap to shampoo and body cream. Also no conditioner or shower gel, you get a tiny and very bad soap for the shower as well. The hairdryer is built in and didn't work. - The staff were mostly unfriendly, especially the younger guys at the reception and several waiters. - I wanted to book a lunch with a colleague professor from a university nearby and wanted to go together into the pool at lunch: even by offering extra money for the book they wouldn't let us use the pool (because of outside guest). - A lot of times i was told by the waiters to leave the tip in paper money and not write it on the room; i don't know what happens with the tip, but this in my country (Germany) is always a bad sign - The spa experience was only worth it because of the massage. The robe is antique (and very bad material), the sauna didn't work, the jacuzzi was a joke and shouldn't be called a jacuzzi - The washing/ironing service is very expensive and not so good - At the end of my stay, the invoice was 100 € more, because they "accidently" put the washing service twice as well as several other stuff "extra". I had to calculate everything myself for a long time at the check out, and then they acknowledged their mistake.

Una atención excepcional

La comida tiene un gran sabor, la presentación de los platillos es muy bonita y la cantidad es bastante razonable. Existe mucha variedad de opciones para el desayuno y durante los días de mi estancia, todos los días ofrecieron al menos un platillo diferente. El personal es sumamente amable, siempre dispuestos a aclarar dudas y a brindarle información sobre lugares a visitar y distancias. La habilitación muy ordenada y limpia en todo momento. A nivel de ubicación, el hotel es bastante céntrico y ofrece las condiciones que un turista requiere cuando se trata de conocer un nuevo lugar. Canalizaron incluso consultas vía correo electrónico antes de mi llegada al país lo cual aprecié mucho. Lo recomiendo con creces.

Conocer que tienen más aliados comerciales para dar soporte con el transporte de personas, sea hacia el aeropuerto o para realizar tours internos.

Love the location and the people that works at this hotel

The location , close to everything, specially super close to Provenza . Also the employees that work there were very nice specially the guys at the door .

Very expensive for what you get. You won't be disappointed too much.

The breakfast is superb. Most meals in the restaurant are very good. The location is good, though a lot of drivers get it confused with the Dann Carlton Medellin (This is the Belfort). Housekeeping was great! The bed was excellent! The elevators worked perfectly. Common areas were extremely neat and well kept. Most staff were very helpful and spoke a decent amount of English.

Toilets backed up 4 times in a 2 week stay. Lights in the closets needed repairs 3 different times because they didn't do it right the first time. WiFi went down several times, then front desk acted as if they didn't know and said they would get right on it when in fact it had been down for hours and someone was already aware of it. They are not 100% transparent on negative issues.
