Wonderful stay at a family-run B&B in Val Gardena

Karin and her family are wonderfully warm, welcoming hosts. The room was very nice and I enjoyed sitting on either our private balcony, or the common front yard, and listening to the waterfall. The breakfasts had many options ranging from sweet to savoury, light to hearty. There is a parking garage, which is very handy, and while it can be a bit tight to park, it was fine with someone spotting (or the family will help you if you are uncomfortable). Conveniently located by the main bus stop, the Spar grocery store, and many restaurants.

There was nothing we did not like.

A cozy immaculate home tucked in a mountain town

Garni Geier was more than I expected. The immaculate, gorgeous wood, and spacious rooms were just the start. The location was also great, just up the hill from the bus stop, so close to the Col Raiser shuttle, even closer to the grocery, and seated up on a hill with a stunning view of Monte Pana. I loved my time chatting with the generous and helpful hosts and was sad to leave. I had an unforgettable trip. I believe anyone would as well. Thank you to the Geier family!

Exceptional

Excellent for ski stay. Breakfest was enough and very good quality even eggs werent with stamp but natural and delivious. Host were extremly nice and hellpfull. Price was also good. Bed and linen was very comfortable. We felt like on a cloud. The view from bedroom was charming. And very important it was so clean. Everyday was cleaning service. New and wooden modern mountain style. These host i reccomend with all hear especially a lot of places in Valgardena look badly. Only small minus you can not go back on ski like to most other apartaments. We will be back for sure.

Garni Hotel Geier was amazing. Our hosts Karin and Erwin were the nicest people you will ever meet and always willing to give out little tips or provide assistance if needed. Delicious breakfast each morning which set you up for a day of skiing. The room was comfortable and had a lovely bathroom. it was also a good location short walk to center of Santa Cristina town and short bus to Ortisei and Selva. also short walk to ski lifts!

This stay exceeded my expectations from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

We would like to come back :)

Nice breakfast with good coffee, location close to all attraction and central to all 3 skiing regions (Sellaronda, Aple di Siusi and ColRaiser/Seceda). Very nice and helpful hosts. Ortisei offers much more than typical sking resort in Apls.

Very expensive for what you get

- good view - Comfy bed, nice shower and v clean room - strong location in the centre of San Christina. We walked directly to the hikes and did not need to use our car.

- old and damaged towels that need replacing - breakfast is average. Nothing is homemade. Not enough refills. Mostly carbs. No fresh fruit. - the hosts were, with us, quite cold and not very friendly which surprised us given the other reviews. Maybe we caught them at a bad moment.
