The property is will kept with lots of verandas where you can sit and relax, beautiful interior.
The borehole water was a bit smelly.

Lovely lodge with lots of character. Excellent staff and fabulous game drives

The property had the look and feel of a bygone era !
However we experienced not only the feeling of peace and tranquility within the properties surroundings but also a first class service from the fantastic staff .
Great front of house management.
If there was anything I would possibly change , it would be the breakfast service , in my opinion this could be improved a little.

We’ve stayed at the Elephant house before so we knew it was well located for access to Addo Elephant Park. It was my birthday on the day we arrived and the staff surprised me with a delicious birthday cake and bottle of bubbles. We had a lovely large room - beautifully clean bedding and towels, large comfy bed. Great shower. Wi-Fi worked well and there was ample parking. Breakfast was delicious. The pool area is a lovely place to sit and relax in between safaris.
I was a bit disappointed that the establishment no longer provides dinner as they did before. That said we tried two local restaurants nearby that were recommended to us and both were good.

Everything. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Great food. Very comfortable and tranquil. Great wifi internet.
The photos in booking do not do the place justice. A professional photographer is needed to capture the essence and beauty of this place.

We had one of the cottages all to ourself, which are very spacious. We looked out over the garden with one of the swimming pools. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was at the main house with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and eggs. The hosts were very friendly, booked us a table at a restaurant nearby (Molo Lolo) and helped us fix our punctured tire.

Attention to detail was second to none throughout the whole property and the owner and staff were so attentive. It’s hard to describe how good this place is. It’s more like a retreat than a hotel.

Room was clean, food perfect and the staff treatment was also good.
There was no Tv in the room and the kids were not catered for in terms of play rooms etc

Breakfast was delicious more than i expected and the rooms were luxurious. The roses in the vases in the bedroom as well as in the bathroom were an extra special touch and they made the rooms smell beautiful. We were also given a bottle of wine which was most unexpected

The host and staff was very helpful and friendly. Even took care of our booking for dinner. The cottage is beautifully
furnished and the shower is lovely. We felt very safe amidst the Covid 10 pandemic. Breakfast was excellent and served at our own cottage, ensuring that contact with other guests is limited. Sanitizer was supplied. The most beautiful and relaxing surroundings.

This was a little oasis. The main areas were beautifully decorated with thought , history, comfort and practical elements too. The pool areas were perfectly framed with very comfortable loungers and pool towels. Although there was only a set menu for dinner the standard of the food was wonderful. It had all the benefits too of being very close to the Main Gate of Addo. It took us 8 minutes to drive! The staff were outstanding. The service was quick, personal and there was clearly a healthy relationship between everyone working on the property. Totally fabulous.
Nothing at all.
