Sean and Mary were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless. Breakfast was excellent, all local food. Nothing too much trouble, we even filled our flasks with coffee for our walk. Would definitely stay again
Nothing needed changing. All as expected

An impressive residence set on a hill covered in a lush covering of vegetation with an abundance of birdlife & squirrels. Sean met us as we entered & the warm, friendly & humorous welcome was most appreciated. Our room was upstairs & Sean didn’t hesitate to assist with luggage. Beds were comfortable. The shower hot, a varied selection of tea, coffee & hot chocolate with snacks including biscuit’s & chocolate. Sean provided a map of town & recommendations for our evening meal. Breakfast was taken in a dining space with beautiful views over the garden & valley. Our cooked traditional breakfast was excellent. There’s also a selection of cereal, fruit bowls & yoghurt so you won’t leave to explore hungry.
Nothing except we only booked for one night. If you can stay longer do so.

Sean & MaryAnn are consummate hosts. Their attention to detail is noteworthy. The warmth of their welcome continues right throughout your stay.
Room is very tastefully furnished, an extremely comfortable bed, tasteful accessories, spotlessly clean. Lovely touch’s like locally sourced biscuits & chocolates, a range of teas & coffees & coffee machine. Plenty of charging points, a fan, a heater & even a lantern in the event of a power cut! All eventualities considered.
At breakfast, fresh fruit pots await you, with hot food of your choice, personally cooked to order by Sean with products sourced from both near & far. Non stop entertainment is provided by the wildlife feeding on the many bird feeders dotted around the beautiful shrubbery outside.
Great recommendations by Sean of local walks, drives & especially eateries.
Guide books, umbrellas etc available if needed. That attention to detail again!
A guest house with a big heart & the most delightful hosts- we will definitely be back & couldn’t recommend Glyntwrog House highly enough!

From the movement , my friend Ruth and I stepped into Glyntwrog's house, our experience could not get any better. The accommodation is truly spotless and in a great location, with a very short walk to the centre, which means it is not noisy. Sean was very kind and helped us with carrying the luggage up to the room, giving us plenty of information to suggest activities and places to visit over the weekend . Breakfast .... I do not have words. Every day, something new and exciting and all done with loads of passion and a lovely smile. We had a wonderful weekend and felt treated like queens. Thank you for having us !

We had very good breakfasts. The host purchased food items for our requirements so we were extremely satisfied. We had cereal, fruit and yogurt and then a cooked breakfast, including vegan sausages (one morning we had porridge made for us)
Fruit juice was also made available as well as tea and coffee. There was a fridge made available for us so that we could keep a few items stored.
Nothing was too much trouble. They carried cases for us and provided a clothes rack when we got soaked in the rain. He also suggested places to visit and gave us leaflets about them.
Could not fault anything.

Sean gave us a very warm welcome in arrival, showing us around the property and telling us about the local area. Sean gave us tips and ideas to enjoy our stay, including recommendations for eating and drinking.
We chose breakfast options the night before...cooked meat and vegetarian/vegan options were available in addition to fruit, yoghurt and cereals. We met Mary Ann at breakfast and she was lovely and accommodating.
The hotel was in a good location to walk in Betwys...about a 10min walk along the main road to the closest pubs amd restaurants. There were plenty to choose from despite some being closed mid week. Hangin Pizza in particular was lovely and no need to book.
We enjoyed Conwy Falls,Swallow falls and Fairg glen all within a very short drive or reasonable walk. Zipworld Fforest was just a 3min drive away.
The hotel was warm, welcoming and stylish. The rooms were cosey and spacious, with everything needed. The multi purpose plug sockets on each side of the bed were really useful, as were the touch sensitive lamps. The room smelled lovely and we gad a lovely view out from the window.
Particularly loved the big soft duvet and pillows.
The driveway is steep and narrow so turn in gently.
Perhaps not an ideal driveway to walk up if you struggle with mobility, but no problem if you are able bodied.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The site was on a very steep hill but we managed. The room was so sweet and comfortable. Every view was beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and on time.

Only a flying visit for us, however Sean and Mary-Ann were very welcoming. Great location for us as we were there for Zip World, nice 10 min to the pub for dinner. Great breakfast.

What a fantastic weekend 😊

Glyntwrog House is sat in a quiet location in the hills, just a 15 walk out of the hustle and bustle of Betws-Y-Coed. The view from our room of the tree covered valley was very peaceful and the view over the river and scenery from the dining room in particular was idyllic.
Sean and Mary-Ann were exeptional hosts, catering to our every need and making us feel very welcome, like staying with family. Both of them made sure our food and drink was topped up and made sure that everything was perfect for us. They were lovely to chat with too and they had lots of knowledge and advice of the area.
Sean loves his cooking and after an English breakfast on the first day, he cooked us something unique on the second and both were delicious. It’s worth noting that they source ingredients locally and of the highest quality which is obvious in the taste, easily the best breakfast we’ve had at a B&B.
The room was pristine and modern with a cosy, classical theme. The bathroom was also very clean and modern and everything worked perfectly. On the drink making area there was plenty of choice for high quality or everyday teas and coffees and even a coffee pod machine.
To sum it up, Glyntrog House is the perfect B&B, the best we’ve stayed at and we really felt that we got our money’s worth. Thank you Sean and Mary-Ann, we’ll definitely be back!

This is one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we've stayed in! A huge part of this is due to the very warm welcome you get from the hosts, Sean and Mary-Ann. They couldn't be more accommodating! There is a lovely lounge area (where breakfast is also served), and good walking books which are there for guests to read and get walking inspiration. The location is an easy walk to the centre. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and you can tell Sean has a passion for food (which guests will benefit from!). We will definitely be back for another visit!
