Beautiful property with a very lovely garden. The room looked exactly the way how I picture authentic English style. I loved it.
John was just amazing. He was very friendly, he even opened his bar for us to have a nice drink after a long day. We had a good chat with John and a lot of fun. Thank you, John, for such lovely memories from Northern Ireland.
The cold water in the sink in the bathroom was very lazy.

The most perfect example of how a B&B should be. I felt safe and well looked after and was treated like family. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The property was super clean, spacious and quiet. The village is close by, walking distance, for supplies.

Host, location, comfort, cleanliness and experience all exceptional. Warm , relaxed and friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble to our host. Fabluous, elegant room with veranda and superb views along the rolling countryside and valley. Location best of both worlds, at the edge of town with all amenities yet feeling relaxed, a perfect getaway with everything to hand.

John was very friendly and very accommodating with our arrangements. He made us a lovely cooked breakfast and made sure everything was comfortable for us.
Minor improvement suggestion - it would vastly improve the 1st impressions if you were to tidy up the old scruffy paper notices, cellotaped to the front entrance & internally. 😉

From the minute we arrived Johnny met us we were made so welcome.
Room was lovely clean and bed was comfy couldn't ask for more. Wee makeup wipes and all in bathroom.
We met John and he served us drink in the bar and kept us entertained. John kindly left us down to the town get something to eat and collected us. John and Johnny were so accommodating it was unreal.
And the breakfast beaut just what was needed for journey home.
We will be back for sure this place is a hidden treasure. Thank you Johnny and John

. This was my second stay here. I visited in January with my sister daughter and daughter in law for my sisters birthday. We loved it so much I returned with my friends for a mother's day treat. And they loved it too.
John is a most friendly host. The rooms are beautiful.
Breakfast excellent. John gave us a lift in to town and collected us later ...So rare nowadays to find such a great place with everything you could need in such a fabulous spot with spectacular views but also so close to town.
I would not hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back. Wee weekend with the hubby next time.
John is a fantastic host. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Love it.

A well built and maintained house with nice gardens and it's own bar downstairs. John was a gentleman and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed.
Tilly the dog greeting me at the front door (Outside) was a really nice surprise too, she's a dote!
The balcony and the comfortably furnished room was a welcome end to a long day of walking and driving.
A little off the beaten track if you're touring the main roads, but well worth a stay, driving through some nice farmland scenery. There's a petrol station 2 minutes from the door too!
Thanks for having me, I'll be back again! 😊

I wasn't sure what to expect of Ardgort House, but I was blown away by how friendly and helpful the host was, how lovely and bright and spacious the room was, and by the lovely added extras of a beautiful balcony with countryside views and a lovely in-house pub with pool table. We had the perfect stay and it was jsut what we wanted. We will definitely be back.
There was nothing to dislike.

We were met by the owner John on arrival to the property who was so courteous and helpful. He provided us with the names of restaurants and places to visit in the nearby vacinity. When going out for dinner John even offered to drop us up the town and collect us later. The Guest House was very clean and the rooms are very spacious and decorated with old style antique furniture which was very nice. The breakfast was also very good. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and hope to stay again soon when visiting the Area.
