Wonderful Stay

Jana, the hostess, was so friendly and helpful. She suggested places to visit and ordered a car service for us. When I asked where to buy sundry items, she arranged to have it delivered which arrived within the hour. She really made our stay wonderful and this property is a stand-out due to her presence. Jana ensured a fun atmosphere at the communal breakfast table where we met other guests and shared our travel experiences. There's also a nearby shopping plaza a few minutes away (walking) which has an ATM, bakery and cafe. The property is a private home with only 8 rooms and is located in a very safe area which is gated at night.

Beautiful house in a great location

Beautiful house located in a quiet residential area, perfect to explore South Delhi. The room was very spacious so was the bathroom and it was spotless. Very warm welcome from the owner who also gave us recommendations (and a map) for place to eat around the property. Walkable distance from Hauz khas village and park.The staff was very attentive and the food (breakfast and dinner)was excellent .Highly recommended accommodation in Delhi.

India as it should be - very civiliszed - zum gernhaben

kein geschlecktes Neubau Hotel - ein familiäres bed & breakfast in guter Lage von Delhi - das Haus im Kolonialstill gehört einem sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzer . Die Gäste aus aller Welt sitzen zusammen am Frühstückstisch und es entwickeln sich spannende, interessante Gespräche ,Veranda zum Ausspannen - sicher gated community - herrlich - so soll man in Indien ankommen- da könne mir alle 5Sterne Hotels nicht mit .

liegt neben einer grossen Schule und diese beginnt sehr früh

Lovely house

Really nice staff, clean overall and very charming bedroom. Quite well located near bars and restaurants at walking distance and connected to the centre via metro. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The bathroom could do with a quick refresh, but that is all.

I probably wouldn’t come back, overpriced.

The hotel is super beautiful from the outside and it’s in a good area.

My room was dirty. There was dust on the lampshades and cobwebs in the shower, it needed a good cleaning. I would have expected more for the money. Also there was a tiny heater in my room but it didn’t do anything, it was freezing.

Trygt og sentralt opphold i Dehli

Veldig hyggelig personale, veldig hjelpsomme, Anil innehaver var veldig imøtekommende og i godt humør, stort rom og stort bad, deilig frokost, havresuppe, egg, toast, indisk potetpannekake, amerikanske pannekaker. Juice. Fint hus, trygt strøk, kort vei og enkelt å komme til metro, relativt kort vei til flyplass, lett å komme seg til severdigheter både til fots, tuk tuk og metro. De var så snille og lagde frokost til oss da vi måtte reise veldig tidlig. La det i kjøleskapet så det var klart:-)

Kunne vært renere i huset, men absolutt verd prisen. Anbefales.

Старинный отель

Необычное место - отель сделан в старом особняке, сохранено почти всё в первозданном виде, даже мебель! Это аутентично, интересно, но справедливости ради надо сказать, что не всегда соответствует современным представлениям комфорта. Замечательный, радушный хозяин Anil, встречает гостей, лично общается с гостями, при заселении записывает всех прибывающих в старинную амбарную книгу гигантских размеров). Анил помог нам поменять местную валюту (по очень хорошему курсу), рекомендовал и вызвал нам надежное такси из и в аэропорт, когда мы поехали на экскурсию в Тадж Махал, а это было рано утром, намного раньше чем открывается столовая в отеле, мы были приятно удивлены, что специально для нас двоих персонал открыл столовую и мы могли покушать перед дорогой. В общем сложилось весьма хорошее впечатление о месте и особенно о владельце данного отеля.

Слабый напор воды, слышно соседей, но по Большому Счёту больше нет таковых.

Good only for sleeping

It was easy to change the check-in time to a much more late hour. The room was very large, even the bathroom

The cleaning was limited to essential things like toilet, bed, shower and bath tub

A very welcoming and relaxing place to stay.

The room and bathroom were very large. There was also a covered outdoor balcony. After traveling around the city, we were able to come back to a very relaxing room. The hotel was also within walking distance of Haus-Khas village, the ruins of an ancient madrasa, and several parks. The hosts and staff are very welcoming and helpful with planning travel about the Delhi.

Fijne plek om bij te komen van een lange reis.

Locatie is perfect, een hele rustige ligging weg uit de chaos van de stad.

Prijs is wat hoog voor India en het was een beetje oubollig, maar dat had ook wel weer z’n charme.

Great location let down by need for some property improvements

The location was great for our requirements. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable.

Great value for money

Anil was a very informative and helpful host and his staff are very friendly, Anil arranged collection from the airport for us with a very good taxi driver (Vikas) who we used for the rest of the day. The property is in a safe quiet area in South Delhi and is only a 3-4 minute walk to the nearest Metro station, the Metro in Delhi is superb. Anil can also recommend some good restaurants especially the vegetarian one in Hauz Khas. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was also very nice. Room was comfortable and clean,

Anil will explain this but if you arrive back after 11pm there is a different entrance to area to use.

Blissfulness in every way

The property was peaceful, and in a beautiful neighborhood.

Honestly, I had such a good experience that I can’t even think of one thing I didn’t like. The owner and staff were perfect, the breakfast was wonderful. The location was absolutely perfect for a early walk at six or 7 AM.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Villa 33. It's a beautiful old colonial mansion in a great locale, at the end of a quiet cul de sac. The host family and staff were very helpful and informative, and made sure that we were well looked after. The decor is eclectic, with a mix of antiques and modern, and the overall feeling is like you're staying with family friends. Highly recommended!

Lovely Villa to stay as a family

Beautiful Villa in a safe neighbourhood. Close to airport and transport. Lovely market area nearby with nice restaurants and cafes. Staff very helpful (stayed late and got up early when we left). Good breakfast - with homemade pancakes and omelette available. It's 30mins by TukTuk from Connaught Place - but that's only 200 rupees :-) There are other sites nearby too.

Can recommend without hesitation!

Very friendly contact beforehand, our host talked directly to our taxi driver about how to get there. Tips on how to find our way around in town were very helpful. Staff was also very friendly, very good communication in English with our hosts. Our breakfast was very good, rooms were very good, we did not miss anything.

In one of our rooms the A/C was leaking some water, not uncommon, and the only papercut to mention.

Highly recommended if you're staying in the south of the city.

Had an absolutely lovely stay with Villa 33. The host, Mr Anil is very communicative and so helpful, and the staff is genuinely attentive and caring. I'm very grateful for their hospitality. If you're staying in South Delhi, I couldn't recommend this more enthusiastically!

The only gripe was that there were a few bugs and mosquitoes to deal with; but I don't see what more could the property have done (had provided repellant and the windows were netted).

Superb

Beautiful mansion in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Rooms are beautifully furnished. Breakfast is really good and a also fun social event with all the guests. Laundry service is available.

Good first stop for exploring India.

The staff were excellent and so helpful. They gave wonderful advice on how to delve into Delhi gently. Good breakfast. Lovely staff.

The Villa was a wonderful sensory delight as well as being a haven from the sensory delights of wider Delhi. There was so much to do within walking distance or tuk tuk distance. We will stay here again if we return to Delhi! A very enjoyable memorable experience!!

Wonderful stay in a Colonial style Villa - Hauz Khas Delhi

Most kind and helpful owner who went out of his way to ensure I was safe, well looked after, AND had books to read. Fabulous and varied vegetarian dinners - big thank you to the staff. I was lucky enough to have a large room with a private balcony to sit on surrounded by trees. Bonus - lots to do and see in the Hauz Khas area. Villa 33 is my pick for Delhi. Thank you Anil.

Delhi weather could have been kinder - very hot and humid, but no complaints with Villa 33.

Exceptional

Lovely atmosphere, it felt like I was living in colonial times. Some nice restaurant in walking distance. Very helpful staff, I got a free meal because I was so tired after a long journey.
