Excellent value for money and great location

Great location, very helpful hosts, café downstairs. Off-season I had the whole upstairs common area to myself.

Bed mattress was a bit hard for my personal taste.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet établissement avec une équipe formidable et humaine 🥰🥰🥰

Nous n avons pas pris de petit déjeuner car mon mari et moi aimons les œufs aux bacon le matin pendant nos vacances donc je ne peut pas me prononcer dessus car petit déjeuner vegan , mais j ai eu le plaisir de prendre un café et une crêpe préparé par Marie qui est plus qu adorable . Merci beaucoup a Kush qui a été la pour nous conseiller et nous aider 🙏🏽🙏🏽 nous avions vraiment l impression de vous connaître depuis toujours. Merci pour tout .

Tout était bien j aurais aimé que l on précise de prendre des chaussons puisque qu il fallait enlever ses chaussures à l entrée chose que je fais généralement a la maison mais ayant des problèmes de chevilles j aurais préféré les avoir. Au niveau propreté étant maniac sur les bords faire attention au nettoyage mais tout le nécessaire de nettoyage est mis a disposition pour passer un coup pour les maniaco dépressif comme moi 🥰🥰

Location dal cuore grande

Sannyasa Villa é una perfetta location per trascorrere le vacanze a Mauritius. La struttura é gradevole, le stanze molto ampie, pulite e dotate di tutto il necessario. La nostra stanza aveva anche un angolo cottura e un bellissimo terrazzo privato che abbiamo usato per organizzare aperitivi con i nostri nuovi amici che abbiamo conosciuto nella Villa: come dice il proprietario, in fondo i "nuovi amici sono solo sconosciuti che non conoscevi prima" 🥰🥰🥰Ma il vero punto di forza di questo posto è Vishal, che ha la capacità di rendere l'atmosfera serena, rilassata e amichevole. É un host sempre disponibile ed una perfetta guida del posto. Valida spalla a sostegno del padreé Kush, sempre sorridente !!! Che dire...se dovessimo tornare a Mauritius sicuramente Sannyasa sarà di nuovo la nostra casa!!!😊😊😊😊

Bel endroit

Très belle chambre avec terrasse, belle cuisine et pièce à vivre commune charmante, machine à laver. J'ai adoré le massage ayurvédique. Bel échange avec l'hôte et son fils. La dame qui nettoie aussi... Par gentillesse, l'hôte m'a rapproché de ma prochaine destination.

Le seul point négatif pour moi, c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de cours de yoga, alors que j'avais choisi cet établissement pour cela. Mais le massage ayurvédique était tellement top que ça rattrape...

Good value for the money !

Really unique placebto relax. spacious studio with comfortable bed and well equiped kitchen. Good wifi access ! Lovely and helpfull staff ! Thank you Vishal for helpfull advices !

The bigger shops were a little bit far, although this can be easily solved if you rent a car.

. Nous avons été accueillis par Shivam, un jeune homme accueillant et bienveillant. De bon conseils Shivam nous a orienté vers de très bon plan... Le décor zen était agréable

Tout été à la hauteur de nos espérances à part peut être de rajouter une cafetière classique pour la cuisine en commun et une étagère pour déposer nos affaires de toilette dans la salles de bain serait la bienvenue mais nous avons comblé ce petit manque en y plaçant l'une des tables de nuit ...

Lovely stay when you are not into resort living!! To be recommended with everything you need

The facilities was very nice and the location excellent. The hostess was very friendly and always ready to help. We opted for a room with a small kitchen and this worked really well for my early coffee.

The mattress and pillows were quite hard, but expected at a yoga establishment. Took my body a night or two to get use to it.

The location is very good, 5 minutes walking to the beach, the area is safe and easy to navigate, close to bus station. The staff is very friendly and helpful, ready to help with any questions and requests. the villa itself is very cosy

Great value - great stay . For the price it jas very good facilities. Wooden floors, great terrace. Only 4 Minutes Walking to the public beach.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Very comfy bed and interior. Walking distance to beach, restaurants and supermarket.

Please be aware that the room does not offer a balcony although the booking.com room description states there should be a balcony.

Nice room but I would have prefered private facilities

handy location, stylishly decorated, nice terrace and staff.

I thought we were going to have a studio with private kitchen etc from the pics and description on the site but it turned out to be a shared kitchen/ living room. this wasn’t a huge problem but we were wary of using it in the morning or at night as we didn’t want to disturb other guests and if other guests had been noisy we would have been woken up. I wouldn’t have chosen the room if I had realised this as plenty of other studios are available with private facilities. also selected the room due to good reviews of the owner and he turned out to be away the week we stayed. whilst we did have access to a washing machine it only used cold water so none of our clothes actually got clean. finally the TV in the common area didn’t work which wouldn’t usually be a problem but during the World Cup was inconvenient.

Cosy place and perfect location.

Vishal is great host, at the beggining he showed us town and recommended best places to eat and go. Apartment was big and comfortable with big terrace. Downstairs there is a cosy cafe run by Vishal. Location is great, it's: 3' to the nearest shop. 5' to the beautiful long beach, 15' to the big supermarket. Good value for price.

Bathroom could be cleaner. Swimming pool is very small and unappealing. It wasn't problem for us, we prefer beach anyway (which is amazing), but if it is important for you to have nice swimming pool you won't be satisfied.

Relaxed and very comfortable

In Sannyasa I felt right at home. The room was nice, had a great shared kitchen, and the feel of the place was very comfortable. Would go there again for sure. The beach was a 5 minute walk away from the house, and the area is very relaxed, was my favourite place in Mauritius.

Great place where you easily feel at home

Vish has created a very individual and cozy villa where you feel at home immediately and can meet like-minded individuals. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped - also the kitchen, so that you can prepare your own meals. Additionally, you can get great home-made breakfast (yummy pancakes) in the Earth Cafe. Vish does everything to make your stay comfortable. One night he took us to a concert and the next night we played some music together in the cafe. Moreover, it's a quick walk to the beach - definitely one of the greatest beaches I've ever been to. Definitely coming back to stay during our next trip to Mauritius.

The only thing I was lacking was a hair dryer.

There are no strangers in Sannyasa, just friends we havent met yet! - thank you!

We love Sannyasa all the way through. Our arrival was perfect, the owner made sure we can check-in as soon as possible and we didnt have to wait although it was a last minut reservation! We liked the house - interior/exterior is both functional and stylish with a sence for little details with the wide range of supplies in the kitchen. we instantly felt like at home. During our stay whenever we needed an advice or help, Vishal was always there for us. he took us on the tour around the city, drove us to the hospital and arranged covid test and so much more. we had a great time at the cafe and by the pool. Also we recommend to try therapeutical massages, yoga at the beach by sunset and guided meditation. Sannyasa was a gem of our trip and if we will go back to Mauritious there is no way for us to stay somewhere else!!!

Anything we would complain about is connected to weather conditions or it would belong to different price category and it wouldnt be fair towards the place. just 10/10

The best accommodation within our 14days stay in Mauritius for several reasons. The owner was absolutely dedicated fast responding and helpful. He gave us all important information about the beaches and Mauritius which we were not aware of.The accommodation had its own spirit,with no cockroaches:). The equipment of the kitchen was also good,we were able to cook by ourselves there. The best beaches we have visited are located in Trou aux Biches and its neighborhood.

Nice comfy apartments

Apartments are nice and comfy. Host is very friendly, helped us all the time and we were treated very kind and cordially even before our arrival. Kitchen is fully equipped.

Wifi connection is really slow. The bedroom was not exactly the same as shown in the pictures (we were expecting to have a big sofa for reading and was 2 little ones).

Nice place with friendly owner

Vishal the owner is super friendly and helpful. He can help you to get the most of your stay in Trou aux biches. Rooms are good size. Bathroom is clean and there is big shower area. There is a common kichen where you can cook your food.

Very good

Vishal was a very friendly and helpful host, the shared areas were large and a great social place. I was lucky to be there during a retreat so paid a little extra for home cooked vegetarian meals, which were delicious. Danis food was exceptional, a real mauritian treat! Local beaches are amazing, along with sunsets & I really enjoyed a day trip around the island organised by Vishal. The good far outweighed the negatives here.

I had chosen sannyasa villa as it was cheaper but also because it had a pool. However, I didn't use it at all as it wasn't clean when I arrived and got progressively dirtier each day! My room was lovely (queen size on top floor) but it was noisy with no soundproofing. I was kept awake at night on many occasions.

Amazing accommodation and owner

Vishal could not do enough for us, from taking us to Ile Aux Cerfs, keeping us up to date on the Corona Virus situation in Mauritius, offering to go shopping and take us to the airport. The rooms are fantastic and have everything you need. It's only a few minutes walk from the beach, local restaurants and supermarket

Really beatiful place!

We stayed in Sannyasa vila for 4 nights and were really happy for choosing this place. We had a room for 2 people with beatiful bathroom, comfortable big bad and a lot of space to store our staff. There is a common, completely equipped kitchen, a living room, terrace and a swimming pool. Clean and nice place. There are many shops and restaurants nerby. Moreover, the host is so so nice!
