Mooie kamer, fijn zwembad en heel vriendelijk personeel! De locatie was ook goed, vlak bij het strand en eettentjes. Aanrader!!
De wifi was niet goed (als je in een kamer beneden verblijft). Ook zijn ze er een verdieping op aan het bouwen, wat voor de nodige overlast zorgde. Dit is natuurlijk maar tijdelijk!

Vriendelijke ontvangst, schone en grote kamer, fijn bed, lekker ontbijt, mooie binnentuin met zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, wil alles voor je regelen.
Tip: kussentjes voor het zitje wat voor de kamer staat. Lage kast of planken in de kamer waar je kleding op kunt leggen.

בעיקר את האווירה הנינוחה,ניראות המקום, בעלת הבית מופלאה ומקסימה ומלאה ברצון הטוב אכפתיות ודאגה לתת לך את ההרגשה הכי נוחה והבטוחה שאפשר.חיכה לי נהג בשדה בשעה 2 בלילה לאחר תאום מראש בווסטאפ עם המארחת המדהימה שגם בשעה כזאת מאוחרת קבלת הפנים היתה חמה ומחבקת עם חיוך גדול. המנהלת אירגנה לי הסעה/נהג לבנטוטה ביום העזיבה להמשך הטיול.רוצה להודות למנהלת ולצוות על השהות והשרות הנהדר במקום היפה והמטופח כל כך.

Claire and her colleague were very nice and helpful. All our questions were answered and Claire helped us arrange a last minute taxi, which was super nice, thank you!!! Also the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely recommend to come here!

Claire is een hardwerkende vrouw + enorm attente host, en deed alles om ons verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Heerlijk ontbijt en hygiënische kamers met goede airco. De accommodatie is op een goede locatie, mooi ingericht en het zwembad is super fijn!
Wij sliepen als 2 vrienden liever niet in 1 bed. Door onze kamer upgrade hadden we 1 groot bed en de 2 kleine bedden hadden een dun matras. De accommodatie kon hier (kamer upgrade) niets aan doen, helaas zaten ze vol dus we konden ook niet op een andere kamer.

In Sri Lanka zie je vaak hele hoge cijfers bij beoordelingen. Vaak wordt er heel actief om een hoog cijfer gevraagd. Doe dit alleen als het hotel het echt waard is, niet alleen maar als dit gevraagd wordt. Beoordeel niet alleen de ardige eigenaar of medewerkers, maar ook het hotel en de kamer zelf. Anders is het voor je medereizigers heel lastig om een juist hotel te vinden.
Aardige eigenaar die behulpzaam is. Het hotel is knus door de indeling, je kan buiten zitten in de stoelen en leuk terras.
Het hotel zag er beduidend beter uit op de foto's dan hoe het in echt eruit zag. Dit geeft een wat vertekend beeld.
Het zwembad werd zag er niet heel fris uit toen wij er waren. Hebben er toen niets van gezegd omdat we moe waren van de vlucht, hadden we wel moeten doen.
Veel muggen in de kamer, niet zo erg meegemaakt als hier.

L’hébergement est situé dans un quartier calme, avec une superbe piscine, l’accueil est très sympathique, on vous monte même votre bagage dans la chambre! Nous avions demandé également un départ tôt le matin et Claire était là pour s’occuper de nous. Merci encore !

Claire es super amable y acogedora. Llegué a las 3 y media de la madrugada y estaba esperandome. Me dio una habitación tranquila porque se lo pedí. El hotelito es tranquilo con la piscina que se agradece por el calor que hace y muy agradable de estar. La habitación bien y cama muy cómoda. Ducha separada del servicio, algo muy raro en estos paises y yo lo valoro mucho, la ducha no funcionaba muy bien pero se lo comenté y me dijo que no lo sabía. Me levanté casi a las 14.00 y no tuvo problema de darme desayuno.
La ubicación me encanta, es la tercera vez Sri Lanka, y esta zona me gusta porque es muy tranquila para descansar del vuelo largo, pero 5 minutos andando de la calle principal y la playa, ya en la zona final de Negombo que yo la prefiero. He estado en otras guesthouses en mis anteriores viajes, aquí he pagado algo más, pero la piscina y la tranquilidad lo merece. Volveré seguro

La gérante est gentille mais n’a pas été très compréhensive quant à notre arrivée. Après 24h sans dormir dû à notre voyage, nous sommes arrivés à 8h30 du matin. Notre chambre était libre mais pas nettoyée.
La gérante n’a pas voulu que nous restions dans l’espace commun de l’hôtel avant notre Check in qui était supposé être à 13h30. Elle nous a proposé de rester pour 5 dollars (pour s’assoir sur une chaise dans l’hôtel … du jamais vu, payer pour s’assoir ! ). Elle nous a proposé 10 dollars pour bénéficier d’une chambre en attendant. Nous avons refusé par principe.
Nous avons donc attendu jusqu’à 14h, donc 6 h après (ils ont nettoyé notre chambre en dernier sachant qu’aucun autres clients n’étaient arrivés dans la journée - nous étions les seuls à attendre une chambre).
Étant bon commerçant, laisser la chambre un peu plus tôt aurait été apprécié. Au contraire, elle a fait exprès de nous faire attendre car nous ne voulions pas payer de surplus. Elle levait également les yeux au ciel quand elle passait devant nous lorsqu’elle nous voyait attendre. Ça avait l’air de l’exaspérer. Je n’ai jamais vu de gérants d’hôtel aussi peu conciliants … nous n’étions bons qu’à donner notre argent.
De plus, booking nous avait surclassés dans une chambre plus spacieuse. Nous n’y avons pas eu le droit … nous n’avions pas la force d’en débattre avec la maîtresse des lieux. Dégoûtés et épuisés par la situation.

We couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate Christmas and Christmas Eve. It's a little paradise about 10 minutes from the beach. The pool is clean, and all rooms face the pool. The rooms are spacious, attention is paid to detail, and there are plenty of storage spaces – everything is kept clean. We felt very comfortable. Especially on Christmas, we attended a midnight mass with the family and were surprised with a breakfast brunch. We had a wonderful time.

Very comfortable bed and very clean in the places that matter. Room is big, nice AC and very good warm shower. Hotel overall is okay and the staff is super friendly with spotty English but they try really hard. Nice bed, good mosquito net and good location.
Furnishing was quite worn and the drain was blocked which lead to a small amount of bad smell in the bathroom, but for one night we honestly didn’t care since the bed was really comfy and it was clean and super nice room otherwise.

Claire welcomed us early morning when we arrived straight from the airport while we booked last minute. The place was beautiful, very personal, with all the comfort you need. The swimming pool has been cleaned every morning, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and private closed parking for your tuktuk. We loved it and would stay again

Super property near center of Negombo. Nice building, lovely swimming pool and hearty breakfast. Last but not least Claire and her husband are very charming people. We loved it so much that we booked again on our way back to Negombo.
Wifi can be stronger in the rooms but there is anyway no reason to stay in the room as you will be better off nearby the swimming pool!

The owner- Claire is the absolute sweetest person, who is very dedicated to make sure her guests feel welcome and have the best stay possible. Breakfasts prepared by her were delicious and home cooked, which added up to the coziness of the stay. The swimming pool was very clean and nice, same as rooms.

This is our second visit to St Claire's Green, we stayed here when we arrived in Sri Lanka and booked it again for the end of our trip. The location of St Claire's Green was perfect for us. The room had everything we needed. The pool is a good size and cleaned every morning. The host Claire is very helpful and knowledgeable. Claire and her family are lovely to be around. Nice and relaxing.

Amazing property in Negomo, the pool area was beautiful and clean, the rooms way more spacious then expected and had everything you need. Comfy bed and just a quick stroll away from one of the main streets with restaurants and bars and the beach.
