Beautiful view from the guest house to the castle. Location good, close to everything. Big rooms.
This was a very nasty experience. I felt soooo dirty after staying there. The sheets and the whole bed was stinking like sweat and other stuff. I wonder when it was the last time they changed it. Also the towels smelled like as if it has been laying wet for several days. I felt like everything I was touching was dirty. Even the stuff for the breakfast felt dirty. The bread knife was very sticky.
After leaving I felt like I could still smell that horrible smell from the bed. Ew.

I was very pleased at first when I walked in to my room. Very nice colours of the walls, my room and bathroom were big so it was a plus.
The guesthouse is in a beautiful location close to the town and walking routes, it’s also very quiet at night as it’s off the main street.
The owner was very helpful and very friendly. Communication before arriving was great, I received instructions where the key was as I arrived late at night.
Breakfast was ok.
Shame that towels were 100% polyester, it was so uncomfortable to dry myself. It’s also not great for environment as all micro-plastic goes to the rivers and eventually oceans.
Duvet and pillow case were also plastic so I was a bit sweaty in the morning.
I don’t normally take hot showers but the water temperature struggled to get to set 38 degrees.
I was a bit surprised that there was no shower gel or soap by the shower, I used hand soap that was by the sink.
It would be nicer to have netting covering the window in the bathroom. I had to roll the roller-blinds to take the shower and when using toilet. There was netting in the living/bedroom.

Nice rooms, views and all the vicinity.
Unfortunately in the kitchen one of the floor tile was almost dangerously broken.

I like to take a chance when I'm booking accommodation and liked the look of Haus Andrea via booking.com so took the plunge and it was a great choice.
While not a Ruritanian palace, the place is grand. It's not your typical Weningerode half timbered cottage but it is imposing and although it's a little out of the town, a great place to stay. The owners are very interesting people, more reminiscent of the seaside landlady and husband than hoteliers but full of interesting tales and ready to share them without being overbearing.
The rooms are high ceilinged and large, well furnished for the needs of an easy-going visitor and the beds are comfortable. The shower room in my room was spacious and everything worked!
Breakfasts were excellent and Heidi makes good tea, as near British standard as I've had.
Thanks to my hosts for giving me a good stay. I would stay again, no hesitation.
A bit uphill but not a problem.

Good location between town and nature, comfortable room, very fair price, but what I really liked was the personal approach that made me feel welcome and at home - especially nice as I was traveling on my own
I agree with other commenters that the wifi was weak - but it forced me off my screens so not really bad!

The personnel is extremely friendly and efficient, the room was always clean and breakfast was simple but delicious. A little bit off city center it is perfectly situated to access all the neighboring hiking roots.
The one negative thing I’ll say is that the WiFi connection is pretty bad, but if you’re looking for a relaxing off screen holiday this is the place for you.

Very friendly service, I got some coffee as a takeaway for my hike from the breakfast.
Only got the HATIX buss ticket on my second day.
