The calm and peaceful environment. The main lady (I forgot her name) was very nice and always gives customers local advices. The place feels like being in a local home.
There was no room to wash your clothes, you can only do it by hand on a sink with soap. But I think this is tipically from the accomodation sites

Liang and his family are great hosts who will accommodate and help you whenever possible. I find myself returning to Liang's House every time I come back to Ubud.

Liang and his family are wonderful people. I have a very great experience there. I got to talk to them a lot and they are so helpful, kind, lovely...always with a smile on their face. Liang picked me up from the airport, brought me to buy a simcard and to taste Luwaks coffe. I was in a bunk bed sharing the room with 2 other indonesian guys and talk to them a lot. As a solo traveller, I loved being there. Even spent 1 night talking to Liang son. Go there if you are not seeking for fancy places and you travel on a budget:)
The cleaning standards in Indonesia are lower compare to europe haha. For me it's a bit hard sometimes but not only in Liang house. But for the price, you cannot complain much:)

It's really nice to stay in a real typical Balinese house. It's near the city centre and many good restaurants. The bus station to Denpasar, Kuta ect it's just on the corner. The place is although totally quite. No noise at all in the room. The staff is super helpful and kind. There is a shower with hot water, a table outside to socialise and even a kitchen with fridge. They organised a motorbike for me and made a really good price because I actually didn't use it. It was really nice of them. The rice terraces/ Mount Batur are reachable from here by motor bike in just 30mim/60min.
The room is not super clean but for the price and all other facilities still fine

Inside the shared room there wasn't much to talk about, but if you sit outside then they have a beautiful garden. The location is very close to the centre (Ubud market, Money forest...)
If the room was full, the fans would have trouble covering all the room

As mentioned by previous guests, Liang family knows and does understand what hospitality towards travellers really means, so people are very friendly there, and the hostel complex is quite large and they also live with pets such as dog and chickens. It is nice and comfortable if we want to try how to live with the locals in Ubud. Room's nice and clean, we also can use the kitchen. Do not expect soemthing fancy like in a 5-star hotel, it is just pretty simple. Location is close to downtown, especially if you have your own bike, otherwise just walk to downtown ca 1.5 - 2 km.
Ubud is quite quiet at the moment, altho the stay at hostdl is nice, and close to many tourist attractions. The atmosphere in the town Ubud somehow feels like something is missing, as many stores and restaurants are still close due to the pandemic, and at night there are basically nothing to do there and in the surroundings.

Excellent, very relaxed place with Mr Liang being a terrific host giving great advice on how to enjoy your stay in the area.
Scooter rental available.
The place is a 20min Walk from the town center (monkey forest etc), making it a quiet oasis.
