Great location for the national park as bus stop in next road. Lovely hotel!
Very difficult to find members of staff- need a bell!
Futon was incredibly thin- stayed in many Korean style beds. This was the thinnest futon. Asked if there was another so we could double up but was told there wasn’t.
Surrounding area- food in restaurants was expensive but not good!

Nice & simple rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Bed heater! (Very nice after a rainy hike) Good location for reaching Seoraksan park and you could also easily arrive from Sokcho station with bus 7-1. I loved the atmosphere around the place with the abandoned hotels!European breakfast and convenience store nearby.

The hotel is about 35 minutes walk from the main entrance of the national park. There ia a bus at least 2 times an hour as well. There are some few restaurants on the main street 5 min walk. Although the breackfast was not included, we got bread, juice, coffee and corn flakes every morning. That was very kind. The hotel is at the edge of the forest.
The surrounding looks like a ghost town. But this is not the hotels fault. So nothing to complain.

Great location by a woodland - a walk or public bus ride from the National Park gates. There was also a regular bus into Sokcho city. The room was very clean and comfortable - it had underfloor heating, air conditioning, as well as an electric blanket. There was also a help-yourself breakfast available all morning.

the location, and the floor warming
The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, the small kitchen on our floor was also not the cleanest. There also were random stickers on the walls, that did not fit the room or bathroom at all.

I came late around the midnight but the owner she was waited for us to do the check in procedure and give the room key.

The woman is super nice, she really tries her best to speak English & if you know a few words in Korean she gets overjoyed, she was lovely.
I initially booked a more expensive room since it was thz only one available on booking.com, but once I arrived they told me they changed my room. Which i understood since i was all by myself & i booked a family room hahaha. But they should've refund me the extra money i payed for the family room. Or i booked an extra day at the site, so they should've given me a discount since i initially payed for a more expensive room & it had a better view and everything.
Besides that, there were 2 centipedes in my bathroom & if u would shower, the water would be aaalll over the place since there were no shower curtains & the bathroom is rather small.

The breakfast was good. We had cereal, toasted bread with butter and jelly, and juice.
Maybe price? The price that I paid through booking dot com was a little higher than what they offered to the locals according to their price chart in their reception desk.

I had an amazing stay and will definitely return if visiting the area. Its a quiet and spacious guesthouse located in a sleepy village walking distance to Seoraksan National Park. The owners were the sweetest people.

friendly hosts, great location near Seoraksan National Park, good views, clean lodging and nice heated floors
the bathroom could do with a shower curtain

The staff was really nice, when we arrived to the place it was late at night and the woman offered us to take us in her car to a convenience store nearby because we didn't have any cars. There was good breakfast, bread, coffee, milk, juice, butter and jelly and there were a lot of amenities. The place was really cozy.
The balcony is a little bit dirty and the room makes some noice at night, like the clock.
