Great room ruined by the hornets that patrol the garden

The room itself was fantastic and the bed was absolutely divine.

We couldn't use the balcony of our room or the big beautiful garden because there was constantly a swarm of hornets at the balcony doors. Within 10 seconds of stepping outside, my friend got stung on the neck by a giant hornet. We spent most of the time terrified to even go out the front door and had to run from the room to the driveway to escape the hornets. Great bed though.

Very basic facilities only. Drains in bathroom have bad smell.

Comfortable beds, liked the enclosed terrace off the room.

Parking was a challenge if you didn't have one of the limited spots.

Excellent loaction, friendly staff

Excellent location, friendly accommodating staff. Clean room and guest house. Good neighbourhood, all facilities available nearby. Quiet, considering it is a main road and in the centre.

The room was small but adequate, no seating(just the bed). Coffee maker(buy pods from reception) but no kettle to make tea(my preference). I do think i had the worst room facing the road, no view.

Localização

Colchão muito mole, casa de banho muito pequena, a janela da casa de banho fechada e sem poder abrir, por mais cuidado que se tivesse no banho, saía água para fora do poliban, apenas 3 cabides para a roupa, extrema humidade face à muita humidade exterior, apesar de se poder minimizar com o ar condicionado.

Ingen frukost ingick. Läget var bra och centralt. Wifi fungerade väl.

Det kom in vatten i rummet från vägg. Det var mycket fuktigt i rummet. Det saknades varmvatten till handfatet. Det saknades hängare för kläder och det fanns varken stol(ar) eller litet bord.

El bungaló es maravilloso y su única inmejorable

La falta de detalles, como un espejo fuera del baño, falta de luces en las mesillas de noche individuales y una tele con más canales, un microondas pero lo demás fantástico.

Room is spacious, Location is great and parking on premises is very helpful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Recently renovated and clean.

Missing any kind of closet for storing clothes. Bathroom door didn't close at all. And there was a stinky smell from the sewage and since the bathroom door didn't close the smell was always in the bedroom. Toilet seat was loose as well.

Amazing

Very welcoming staff. We got there a little earlier and they brought our luggage’s upstairs. The location is perfect near by the marina and the beach. What else can you ask for. Also very clean and great room for a couple. I strongly recommend

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were so nice. The location is amazing as well with beaches and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the house. Will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Cascais!!

Lovely find in surprisingly ideal location

The location really is superb. 5min walk to beach and central area to head to marina/port side or other direction to Estoril. Quirky design features where art deco meets modern. Reminded us of eastern suburbs of Sydney (random!) when you look out over garden. Good to have the green outlook and garden too. Can’t comment over front facing rooms… Size of room was good for couple + 1 child and with the aircon, coffee maker and fridge all good. Really great effort made when they refresh and clean room every other day. Which is ideal as some places leave too many days still between cleans after Covid and so the village has service level right. Lots of bedding top layers to chose preference between(great for those who don’t always want a duvet), but pillows not ideal (see below). Staff are definitely a top feature as super friendly and want to help. We needed help with getting a notary signature and letter printing which they were only too happy to help with.Also had issues with a charging cable and plug which they offered solutions and alternatives for us. Use of WhatsApp also great to overcome language limitations, so felt very looked after.

Simple things that would be pretty easy to change! Whilst provided a couple of different pillows, nothing firm or that long so not ideal for neck and comfort. More hooks up in bathroom and along the blank wall in our room would be really useful and make better use of space. Otherwise there can be a lot cramped into one area. The fridge isn’t ideal to have switched on over night as too noisy, but not really an issue. As I say, little things for comfort and wouldn’t detract from recommending.

Loved Cascais and our stay at the Village Guest House. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very warm and cozy! King size bed was very comfortable! Loved that the tv had access to all major platforms of Netflix , Hulu, HBO. Location was awesome!

Good Location and Great Staff!

The room was large and there was a fireplace which would be really nice in the winter. The man who checked us in was very nice and allowed us to leave our luggage after check out with him. The area was a nice area and close to shopping and restaurants

The room was literally a few feet from the check in desk however most of the noise was coming from people who entered into the lobby and going up the stairs. There was no wash cloths to bathe with so using the hand towels were hard to use. Only 2 coffee cups for the 3 people in the family room but we didn't use the coffee maker anyway so wasn't a big deal. The tv for the other room was gone and there were no USB plugs nearby the bed to plug phones to charge

Cozy little house 🏡 perfecto!

Small, cozy & fine! Totally central… after some drinks in the center of Cascais you are falling in your bed. Super little sunny garden to chill. Attentive staff. We had lovely day’s. Thanks a mill 🙏

Cascais was definitely an amazing place to visit.

Cascais is a stunning seaside town in Portugal. The location was excellent, the staff very friendly. The room was facing a garden, which was nice.

We were a little shocked that the room and bathroom had no windows. The water in the shower and sink would not go down easily.
