Tastefully appointed, STOP PRESS: BRAND NEW DECK (completed Nov 2022)., you will love this simple yet charming house. Why not escape to this pristine beach paradise for a short break?

Emerald Beach House has a great location set up above the street and is very close to the surfing beach and less than 20minutes north of Coffs Harbour. The house is beautifully presented, clean and well maintained, with lovely coastal views.

The enormous deck (Nov 2022) showcases our panoramic views of the beach and coastline and has plenty of space for sunbathing, lounging and dining. See the photos - currently being updated for the new space.

Accommodation is on the one level, although there are two flights of steps up to the house from the street. The living and dining areas are generous and a reverse cycle air-conditioner and fan will keep you comfortable. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and a shower as well as a large laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities for guest use.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the large second bedroom has twin beds and a foldout ottoman - it can comfortably accommodate up to 3 children or 2 adults. Each bedroom, and the living area, are fitted with a ceiling fan.

The fully-fenced rear garden is accessed through the tiled laundry. An outside shower is available to wash off sand and saltwater.

Our part-time manager uses the small completely separate flat on the lower level.

As well as the main surfing beach, there's a large leash-free area of the beach for dogs so you can book a holiday for the whole family!

Emerald Beach is a small village less than 20 minutes north of Coffs Harbour. along the Pacific Highway. It has two great restaurants, takeaway store, a pizza/pasta place, hole in the wall cafe, general store, hairdresser and bottle shop.

This was a great property in special location/views with v helpful owner/manager. Just as described If I had one slight negative to say we were kept awake by downstairs tv noise…only say that for awareness by owner, not a complaint!

My stay at Emerald Beach was so good. Despite the rain I found I could still enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. Having a small backyard at the back was a great thing too for my dog. I'd definitely stay here again and hope to return soon. Thanks Wayne and Chris

We had the most wonderful stay we just wish we were there longer. So close to the most beautiful beach and great fish and chips just up the road. I almost want to keep this gem to myself !! We will definitely be back for a longer stay .

We were only here for a short time as a stop over on our trip, but we will hopefully return for a longer visit again. The outlook is superb, the deck is second to none. Extremely tidy, all the things you could need and a few extras like toys and games for kids that you would find in a family beach house. The beds and couches (inside and out) were very comfortable. We couldnt fault it.

Very relaxing and comfortable house with the best view you could ask for. Our dog loved it, kids loved it - we had a wonderful week. Thanks to Wayne and Marian for being so friendly and helpful. This was our third time at the house and we’d love to come back again.

We had only one night to stay but still managed two wonderful walks to the beach with our eager pup and a beautiful evening and morning on the deck. Safe secure grassy area put back excellent too. Beds comfy and everything as promised.

Everything about this stay was easy, accomodating and the location truely outstanding. Beautiful ocean views, easy walk to the beach and to get Pizza for dinner, lovely locals and then an easy walk for a great morning coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Pictures online look like you have quite a long walk to the beach, but it is only a few minutes walk to a dog friendly beach. Views from the house are beautiful looking down towards a small bay. There is a lovely headland walk (no dogs allowed) with lots of kangaroos and the few restaurants and cafes in the town are a five minute walk from the property. Furniture in the house is all quite new and comfortable and the property is well equipped. House would benefit from a tumble drier and perhaps a deep clean, but I’d recommend this home to others.

We’ve been lucky to spend several great days at this beautiful beach house! The view is stunning, the house is adorable and Wayne is so friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect - between nice coffee and scenery track. Thank you so much for having us. Hopefully we’ll come again one day.

Pros: stunning views up Emerald Beach, abundance of wildlife, 2 min walk to the beach, 3 min walk to the shops, friendly caretaker, house fitted out to give that "beach house" feel Cons: a couple of flights of stairs (possibly a problem for frail or unsteady)

The house has a fabulous view, is a very short walk to the beach and cafes and was well equipped with everything we needed. We (and our dogs) had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again on future trips to the area. Thanks Chris and Wayne!
