Excellent hotel. I will definitely come back♥️

Nice ammenities, pool towels can be changed every day, you can go to the gym or classes if you like, the food was good (served only breakfast) and the staff was very nice

The room was facing the sun and it was a bit too hot and the AC could not be left on as you left the room

Sehr gute Lage des Hotels und der Stadt

Die Lage des Hotels ist an sich super. Einziges Manko ist die Hauptstraße, die sehr laut ist. Man kann die Fenster nachts deshalb nicht aufmachen, aber die Zimmer haben eine Klimaanlage. Der Pool leuchtet sehr schön wenn es dunkel ist. Das Personal ist nett und bemüht und das Essen ist gut. Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πάντα έτοιμο να σε εξυπηρετήσει,το ξενοδοχείο πεντακάθαρο μέσα και έξω,όλα ήταν τέλεια!

ίσως το μόνο που θα μπορούσα να γράψω θα ήταν ο καφές στο πρωινό που βγάζουν αλλά και πάλι αυτά είναι προτιμήσεις

Exceptional

The hotel is very nice and accurate, very clean and the staff is very friendly and caring. Food was very tasty ,one could see how much attention was paid to food quality. I liked everything about my stay, especially the evening cakes 🤩 . I also paid attention to how other guests were sharing their satisfactory comments with the staff about the hotel meeting their needs for a perfect rest.I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who prefers quality and harmony during the vacation.

Can get very busy at the pool however to be expected in large hotels, also having to walk across each morning to breakfast across the road however it wasnt a big issue

The lift. We ended getting stuck in the lift ,then ended up in -3 level which was quite scary.

A really nice hotel for a beautiful holiday!

The hotel totally met my expectation,the jacuzzi room is amazing!The staff was great,always trying to make guests feel good,the enterence at the tables in the restaurant with guidance from the staff,the food was very good,especially dinner,extrordinary pastry in the morning and good deserts,they kept coming with food even if it was closing time, the entertainment at night and the bar were very pleasant,the parking!

The smell in the bathroom,breakfast could be more diverse, the lack of their own beach and sea view,you have to pay 8 euros for parking in the hotel parking,the distance to the old town!

Facilities, breakfast are 10/10 and especially staff who are so friendly, kind and helpful, always smiling and make your vacation unforgetable. Crete offers a lot of beautiful places, beaches, restaurants and friendly open people, but if we stayed at Theartemis palace and not see anything, we would still rate 10/10 vacation.

nice hotel for a short stay. was suitable for what we wanted it for

we were upgraded to a better room for free. room was great. nice big balcony and big bathroom. hotel was clean and smelt nice

no toaster for bread at breakfast the gym equipment was poor pool towel collection times aren’t great if you spend the day out as can’t get a fresh towel then until 1030 the next day. the hotel is very open and anybody could walk in off the street and get into someone’s room, probably unchallenged. doesn’t feel very safe in that aspect. it’s not particularly clear around the hotel where everything is or how to get to things, for example, specific restaurants/bars. the evening entertainment was probably the worst I’ve ever seen.

The staff were amazing. The hotel was incredibly clean and the food was amazing.

The only downside is the dress code for dinner was not advertised anywhere during booking. Men must were trousers to dinner but our party were unaware of this and could not find any information stating this explicitly. The men had to go out and buy extra trousers! Please advertise this on all 3rd party sites during booking to ensure it's enforced well.

Excellent value and fine service.

We had high expectations just based on the name (incl Palace). However it exceeded our expectation. Breakfast and dinner were superb, with lots of choices for everything...appetizer, main and dessert. Location was great, close to the sea and to public transportation to the old town and main bus terminal. We stayed 5 days, and were pleased throughout. Flew into Heraklion airport and then to the main bus terminal. Took the bus to Rethymno which cost 7.5 euros and took 1.5 hrs. Bus ran every hour to/from Rethymno until late at night.

I stayed with my husband and daughter in Theartemis Palace for a week and we are absolutely satisfied with the hotel, Rethymno city and the whole Crete! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and fully-equipped. Breakfasts were very tasty and had wide choice, also we liked the inside pool the most, because sea was not very warm (but here in Greece in April the water was like we have in the Baltic sea in July :)). Also we liked the location of the hotel - close to the sea, not far from the center, with lots of nice restaurants within walking distance and with calm and pleasant vibe of the neighborhood.

Everything was fine. It would be nice to have opportunity to close the balcony from the outside, not only from the inside of the room

No free parking but there is no problem to find a parking beside a hotel, shower weak water pressure,

- overall very nice hotel; (I think it is after massive refurbishment/renewal) - lobby is impressive - very beautiful - outdoor swimming pool looks great (especially after dark, as it is nicely lighted - unfortunatly it was too cold too use it... maybe next time) - localisation is great in my opinion - a bit on the side of city center (15 min nice walking distance) - bus stop and large supermarket nearby - beautiful beach 50 metres from the hotel - very big breakfast/dinner choice - great staff, very friendly and caring - if you wish to buy any trip tour, they will come to pick you up from the hotel, a it is on their stop map (at least the tour company we chosen picked us up) - hotel has a lot of common space that you can comfortably use (meeting rooms, business centre, bilard, gym etc)

- very unstable wi-fi internet! We stayed here 5 nights and there were many moments that internet was simply not working on each of our 3 devices. Connection is simply not stable, at least on 4th floor - not sure how about other hotel areas - elevators look more like service lifts (big contrast between beautiful lobby and elevators); during our 5 nights stay lift was broken a couple of times - they charge 3 Euro per day for the use of in room safe - for me thats a shame, and safe should be included in 4* Hotel - little things like this are impacting overall experience - shame that indoor pool is very tiny and in the other building. Hot tub didn't work at all...

Good food, fresh, plenty of choice and variety ; excellent service and very polite and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice heated pool and jacuzzi to relax when outdoor is cold, one of nicest hotels in the area

Vacation to Crete

It was our second time with Theartemis Palace and all was good: the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good and the room was clean. Should we visit Crete once again, we will most likely return to Theartemis.
