Al llegar, hay que esperar que el dueño o el encargado se dé cuenta de que llegan los clientes para ser atendido, no brindan mayor información, solo el cobro y listo, lo demás lo saca uno por deducción… hay una zona común, pero no hay una pila para lavar algún implemento de cocina o botella o algo similar. Hay una cocina pero no es de uso de los huéspedes y hubo un coffee maker pero estuvo sucio, y quisimos asearlo pero al no haber pila no se pudo… hay demasiados zancudos pero se entiende por estar ubicado en un manglar

This is my second stay to Sueno Tranquilo and I will stay again soon.

The staff was amazing here. I needed laundry done and they did it all quickly and had it folded and in my room when I got back from dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I wish there was coffee available early mornings for guests. It's a bit of a long walk just to get a cup of coffee in the morning.

Exceptional

The host Yesenia ('Jessie') was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. There was no coffee maker in the room and she saw to it promptly to get one for me, along with some very good coffee. I had some items needing refrigeration so she let me use the fridge on the premises for those items and the freezer. The pool was very clear and clean, and well-maintained, which I know is not easy. The grounds were also clean and organized.

Of course, a coffee maker in the room would be nice.

Will stay again on next visit to Quepos

The location is walking distance to Quepos center city. Close to the Malecon. Very pleasant. Nice restaurants across the street. Staff is very nice.

A desk and chair for working with a computer would be an improvement for me.

good location close to shops and restaurants

we couldn’t sleep as our room was right next a chicken house and they were constantly ‘singing’ and crawling on the tin roof which made a lot of loud scratching noise. the swimming pool in reality is super small and tight in the middle of the parking lot which is a little strange setup. no fridge in the room, the on-site cafe/bar seems abandoned for some time. there was never anyone at the reception, despite ringing the bell I waited a long time for check out. nobody came anyway so I have to key to someone in the janitor room.

Spotlessly clean and modern accomodiation conveniently located to Quepos town with friendly staff

The complex has a few rooms set around a courtyard and parking area, making it easy for a large group to stay together but in separate rooms. There is a small plunge pool which was kept clean. There are good restaurants just across the road (Bahia Sur) and plenty more in Quepos town and the marina, plus plenty of shopping including a large local supermarket two minutes walk. The staff was very helpful.

The air conditioner was broken when we first checked in but it was fixed.

Sueño Tranquilo is close to the centre, comfortable, homely feel

The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome. The aircon was great, use of facilities including kettle and microwave was very handy!

Sometimes the wifi drops out but otherwise no dislikes.

I totally recommend this hotel. It was lovely!

Super clean, great beds, great location, hot showers- walkable to beach and down town. Very safe and cute! The manager speaks great English.

The price is excellent for how close it is to Quepos. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was helpful and quick.

The remote barely worked from the bed. I had to get up and stand near the TV to change channels or volume.

There were cockroaches in the room and animals in the ceiling. There were not people in the front desk when we arrived and we were about to leave when the person appeared 20 minutes after.

Fine over-night stay in Quepos

It was located near to restaurants and quepos downtown, and perfect if you want to stay one night and visit the national park. The place had all the necessities and things mentioned in the description, but nothing more. The host was helpful and considerate regarding check-in, nearby activities and when closing the gate for the night.

It would have been nice if breakfast had been available as well as a cup of coffee in the evening or afternoon. There was something that looked like a cafe at the location, but we did never see it open or in use. The place was a fine hotel for the night, kind of feeling like a hotel-stay anywhere in the world. There was no local vibe/feeling.
