Such a great place, had a really good time! The place is a 10-15 minute walk from the city but its a great place to chill, there's good open areas to hang out and a nice small kitchen and a nice pool to cool down in.
The owners are so nice and welcoming, would definitely come back!

Super pretty and peaceful.
Slightly far from downtown. But that also made it really quiet!

The pool, shared kitchen, lounging area, the monkeys and macaws in the trees behind the hotel.....

I liked the hosts. They were very friendly and made me feel like I was with family. I liked the pool- it was refreshing after a long, hot day. I really enjoyed the hammocks up on the roof that offered a beautiful, relaxing view in the evening. There is also a tree that a couple of red macaws like to visit every evening to feed on its fruit— it was really cool to witness.
I didn’t like that the common area is right outside the rooms so if someone wakes up really early and does anything in kitchen, you can hear everything.

The location just besides the jungle, during the morning you can enjoy monkeys and birds playing on the trees. Tere, the owner of the place and her cousin were so nice to us and answered all our doubts about transportation. The kitchen is a plus because restaurants are quite expensive in the area. The small swimming pool was perfect to enjoy all day long.
Nothing !

the container structure was cool, and it was quiet with no disturbances. The drive to Manuel Antonio was simple. The air conditioning in the room was a good addition, and the kitchen and bathrooms were useful and clean. There are hammocks to relax in and the general atmosphere of the place was relaxing. The host was really sweet, and the overall experience were great.
Our room was pretty small, so if we had stayed for more than one night we would have wanted a little bigger. but it was perfect for a one night stop.

The manager Tere was fabulous. She was able to arrange an ATV tour for our family at the last minute. The tour was so fun. She also arranged for us to purchase breakfast from her neighbor. Typical tico breakfast wrapped in a banana leaf. Soft towels. Good AC. Very affordable.
Not close to restaurants. We were only there on a stopover but Quepos is not a great town. People were trying to sell us drugs down by the waterside.

There was a haven inside feeling safe secure and with all of our needs catered for. Kitchen area games ac and fan in very clean family room. Wonderful murals all around. Walk into town was easy and took 10 mins. Excellent value for money. Terri was incredibly helpful.
The initial approach was slightly uncertain as outside door was locked and no one around and outside looked very basic.

we had a terrific stay in the 4 bunk jungle container. the AC was great, the community kitchen did the job, the jungle beyond the property brought us spider monkeys and all kinds of birds. the host was an allstar too. 20 minutes drive from manuel antonio. we enjoyed quepos as well. nice quite evenings. we had terrific neighbors sharing the space with us and the garden, community kitchen, extra showers, extra bathroom and extra space made for a roomy stay in small quarters
i give this place all good reviews. i recommend they somehow title the many types of rooms they have in the photos so you know exactly what you are getting (the differences include a private kitchen, AC, balconies, space)...the parking is on a slim dirt street or a fenced in spot 5 shacks down. not too many guest during our stay so we snugged right out front thankfully....that being said, we had a great stay

We really liked this hostel. The host is extremely friendly, and the layout/concept of the hostel is very unique and cool.
We spent 2 nights in Quepos and it was perfect. There is some old information online about this hostel not having parking, but that is outdated and there is in fact (plenty of) parking.

The owners of the jungle container are the kindest hostel owners we've encountered during our 4 months of travelling through central america. They helped us with our plans in the area around Quepos, drove us to town to get the bus, and were keen on getting to know us a little better during a chat in the evening. We felt very welcome, and appricated our stay here a lot.

Good location on the outskirts of Quepos but just a 15 minute walk into the center of town. About a kilometer from the main north-south highway (34) to access other beaches along the coast.

The Air conditioning and the private bathroom
The bathroom water did not flow, so the bathroom got flooded, we notified the owner and they fixed it.

Lovely place in beautiful surroundings with regular sitings of squirrel monkeys and macaus. Comfortable night's sleep and a well catered kitchen but the star of the show was the always friendly and helpful host.
Nothing that really had any impact on a great stay.

This is a lovely place 15mins from the bus terminal on the very edge of town surrounded by woodland.
The couple running it are very nice and saved me from being stuck in San Isidro having taken the wrong route to their place from Puerto Jiménez.

The owner was very helpful and accommodating. All the units we stayed in had air conditioning which made sleeping very nice.
Location was just out of the city which was minutes from all the adventures we went on.
It was a little had to find but after that it was a breeze.

10 min walking distance to the center of the town.

A very comfortable bed and the air conditioning was great. The kitchen had all you need and altogether the hostel had all that you need.
The room was very small, there were only cold showers and the kitchen equipment was old and sometimes not that clean. If you leave your room make sure you always have your keys with you, cause otherwise you won't be able to enter your room again, even if you don't lock the door properly.

What an amazing place and Teresa is soo lovely!! The Jungle Container is created with so much love and the common area is very cool and creative! The beds are comfortable, everything is just perfect :))
I'd love to see the place in a few months as they're building more rooms and it will be great!
I like the fact that it's a little outside and you still can walk to the center of Quepos and the bus station to Manuel Antonio very fast!
My favourite place in Costa Rica, thank you Teresa! ♡
