Beautifully styled rooms with comfortable beds and a great power shower and big bath. Beautiful & bar / lounge area, good menu.
Very clean with good facilities, very helpful and accommodating staff. Excellent location by the yacht harbour. Dogs allowed overnight too!!
9.0
Very friendly staff, comfortable room with nice touch's, great views and a nice breakfast
The shower was the only let down - the bathroom was well presented with a double shower cubicle but the shower had no power at all and the water literally dripped out!

Breakfast and dinner was excellent with a good selection. The room was clean and spacious (including a cot for a toddler). The staff were friendly and helpful and plenty of parking.
Shower pressure was weak.

Great location. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was a great variety.
Bed wasn’t the most comfortable as 2 singles pushed together.
6.0
Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious but a little "tired" in places -
Dinner was difficult as we travelled on a Sunday with a check in after 15:00hrs and we were told when we arrived the kitchen closed at 18:00hrs. The bar closed at 20:00 and on Monday and Tuesday the kitchen and bar was closed completely in the evening. We booked to have the convenience of eating in the pub/hotel and could not do this. I am not sure if this is mentioned in the accommodation commentary.

Great English breakfast, and plenty of other choices.
Restaurant wasn't open on Monday or Tuesday, but not their fault as a lot of pubs are suffering and cannot get the staff.

We had several meals at the Mayflower and they were all delicious
We were happy with everything

Lively big room. The lady who does everything showed us to a room, which had a personalised welcoming letter. Room was big and clean. A lively fire going in the bar, olde world charm

The room was Fab, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous.

Nice spacious pub lovely decor and lit fire which is always good for January
The green light in the room was annoying
7.0
Nice people, well furnished spacious rooms, good breakfast, excellent housekeeping. Safe location 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Good Butcombe beers. Comfortable bed with thick duvet (fortunately, see below). Would happily stay again but not during winter!
We had 3 rooms, two of them were absolutely freezing. My room (#1 on the first floor) was a large double with a small radiator completely inadequate to deal with the minus temperatures outside in mid January 2024. The bathroom had a small electric towel rail, no other source of heating. Staff apologised for the lack of any fan heaters or other supplementary heating but both nights I had to sleep in t-shirt and boxers.

Really lovely gastropub with cosy vibes and spacious rooms. We had a couple drinks downstairs which were ok and it was very quiet - but expected for the time of year haha! Staff super friendly and breakfast was nice.
Can only fault the banging and clanging at 7:30am… must’ve been the kitchen setting up breakfast😂

Proximity to Lymington being very close by. Good sized room. Good breakfast.
The room was a little dark. Lighting not too well designed. Common parts need decoration to the same standard as the room.

Great location. Staff were really helpful and kind. They worked very hard to provide a great service. Room was lovely with good facilities.

Good location next to the marina, with the town being a 10-15 minute walk away. Lots to explore.
Breakfast was good, lots of cooked options to choose from on the menu, also help yourself cereal and croissants, orange juice ect.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.
Room was very pleasant with a view across to the river.
The bed was comfortable but it creaked every time you moved so I would suggest it probably needs replacing.

Great location for our visit. Friendly staff.
Bedroom floor a bit dirty- ball of hair on the carpet and balls of fluff by the skirting board and wardrobe. No-where to hang the towels in the bathroom.
Sausage at breakfast wasn’t very nice. We think not pork sausage
Would prefer coffee sachets in the room rather than the cafetière
6.0
Location good, room spacious and comfortable. Annette greeted us warmly and was helpful.
Breakfast was poor, from how staff took order to how it was served and quality. Porridge lumpy and poached eggs undercooked, couldn't eat.
