Nice room, comfortable bed, good staff
4.5
The location and value of the Grafton are outstanding. The staff was accommodating and helped us with some extra bedding and transport recommendations. The breakfast buffet is tasty, and the hours are good. There is a nice seating area in the lobby.
The one ding I have is lights and controls in the room. One of our floor lamps didn't work, super minor thing. Also, we turned down the temp on the AC at night, but it would go off after a couple hours and we would wake up hot and have to turn it on again. Minor inconveniences.

Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Extremely clean and up to date in furnishings. Lobby was a great place to meet up with our travel mates, getting a coffee and muffin from the little cafe. Wonderful location to be able to walk around and see the sites.
My room looked over the trash bins. I know they have to be somewhere, but not pretty to look at.

It was clean, sleek, comfortable bed, nice facilities. Friendly staff, good location for shopping and Temple Bar, and yet it was quiet.
Nothing comes to mind.

The location was excellent! The area was very alive with restaurants and people and we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend this location!
This is tiny but there was no guide on the tv so we never had any idea what was on the 10 or so channels. Also the satellite kept blinking in and out. We were trying to watch World Cup Soccer and Rugby and the tv just blinked out at critical moments. We were not in Dublin to watch TV of course but at the end of a long day sometimes you just want to chill.

Fantastic location! Walk right out the door to restaurants and shops. The breakfast staff was so kind (call-out to Alberta!) and the front desk folks were welcoming and helpful.
The bedding linens were not 100% cotton and the bed was a bit too firm.
3.5
Hotel location excellent, comfortable hotel and nice food.
The bar closing at 11:30pm. we attended a concert and arrived back at the bar at 11:20 pm for a nightcap and was shouted at by the bar staff saying we are closed although at least 30 people still in the bar. We only wanted one drink as guests with us who were leaving Ireland the next day, so it was not very nice Irish hospitality unfortunately. We appreciate the bar was closing at 11:30pm but surely for residents we could have been offered one drink even in the hotel lobby.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, good location, comfortable bed, good wifi
The shower has no grab rails & the shower floor is at times slippery. I feel this is a safety issue

Breakfast was marvelous. Gary and his team took such good care of me. As an older woman traveling alone I truly appreciated it. there were 3 kinds of eggs, 3 kinds of bread for toast, the other typical foods of a continental breakfast. Here is another excellent example of their kindness. My visit coincided with that of President Joe Biden. On the morning of my departure I learned I needed to leave for the airport early due to possible road closures. So they packed me a to go breakfast of2 hardboiled eggs and 6 pastries.
A generous glass of wine in the afternoon was lovely.
When traveling alone I look for 3 things:: proximity to my destination (yes,), walk in shower (very nice one,) and safety (definitely--you can't engage the elevator without a room key.)
The front desk people were extremely helpful giving me walking directions, calling me a cab, etc. I would definitely give the Grafton on Stevens St 5 *s!
Not a thing.

All was excellent here!

Great location...lovely hotel...have stayed many times and will again.
Ridiculous prices ...I know its subject to demand but very hard to justify.....alarm went off at 2.30am ...very disruptive to nights sleep...when mentioned next morning when checking out ..it was dismissed as drunk guest...that's all in well but we didn't pay crazy prices for that....a token of 10 percent off next stay or something like that would have shown good will towards inconvenience caused....

Great location and staff., Breakfast nice.
Should have free umbrellas available. Only quibble.

We stayed at The Grafton 3 separate nights within a week. Overall, loved it. Staff friendly and affable, breakfast was great, location fantastic.
First room had tiny sink for a King room that seemed ridiculous. Only major quibble was lack of available "loaner" umbrellas, in a city where rain is a daily occurrence.
