Excellent location in Dublin city centre

Outstanding hotel in central location. Exceptionally friendly staff always willing to help. Breakfast selection is very good and well presented and morning host (Helena) is first class . Live music each night is a very welcome bonus.
The Celtic Nights experience is a must.
Highly recommend.
4.1
Did not get breakfast the next morning as it was too expensive for 4 people
The hotel should be able to serve a small breakfast for a cheaper price. We left the hotel and had breakfast in Arnotts
4.1
Habitación cuádruple amplia, muy buena situación, en la misma calle/hotel sitios para desayunar, comer,... zona segura
4.1
Location to most Dublin attractions was within walking distance. The Celtic nights dinner show was great entertainment and value.
It’s a bit dated but for an older hotel I wasn’t disappointed.
4.1
The Pub was enjoyable and lively.
Would have preferred a larger bed.

The room was very big. The location is Perfect. Staff was nice, but they seemed overwhelmed.
The problem is that it was a little hot at night and opening the windows at night was not a possibility since it was too loud. The room was also a little dusty. No lift to help with bags, but that seems to be common I am learning

The location, entertainment, staff, and breakfast were all great!
High price for 1 room and only 1 night but expected because of location I guess. Had to pay for parking as well.
4.1
Very attentful staff, excellent breakfast, rooms cleaned every day and a quiet environment in the hotel. Excellent bar and restaurant in an authentic Irish setting. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
4.1
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice & great value for money
Found the bedroom to warm at night. Unable to control room temperature in room, but had fan which to be honest did not throw out cool air, it was just like someone blowing very gently on you
4.1
Location was good and the breakfast traditional
Air conditioning

Great location and staff were extremely helpful
The WiFi was awful.

Location
Dank carpets, noises (coughing & snoring) in the next room through odd adjoining door crack (not our family on the other side), shower head leaking/bathroom not vented,
property outdated & tired.

The hotel is really well located, between shopping and bars. Many good restaurants nearby and a daily Irish music+dance show in the basement. Still, quiet on the inside. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of them, never had to wait for service. We even got early check-in. Our room was big and had USB-sockets next to beds so we did not need plug adapters for cell phone chargers. Should we have needed one, the hotel had a well-supplied very reasonably priced vending machine in the hallway. Breakfast was very traditional without any surprises, but served the purpose well.
Although the room was clean, it really showed the long time from the last renovation. There was practically no ventilation, windows were wet from the inside in the morning. Mold in the bathroom. They had a sign which said that towels are not changed unless thrown in the bathtub -- due to the moisture, not having them changed every day was not an option. Old school bath+shower and traditional water taps. The vending machine was very close to our room, so we heard noises when people used them late at night. Otherwise, the room was quiet. If the ventilation and mold had been fixed, it would have been a very good hotel despite its age.

It's so convenient in the city centre
Nothing I didn't like
4.1
Typical english breakfast, it would be nice with more to choose from.

location was perfect
nothing of note

location
very old amenities, no warm water for the price per night was too much
4.1
Very convenient, very clean, comfortable, safe, friendly and helpful staff, and a lively foyer/ bar with live music.
The cost was a bit of a shock, but I don’t often stay in city hotels so I guess I am just not accustomed to those prices. To be honest, your rates are more reasonable than some other hotels and that is why I booked with you.
4.1
location, location excellent friendly staff, food, service and drink excellent
Expensive - events on in Dublin at the time possibly influenced this cost.

The breakfast was complete and helpful. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was ideal, as it was right at the bus stop. Everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The hotel is filled with "old world" charm and has lovely woodwork and elements. The lift worked. It was tiny, but it was helpful and workable.
We arrived very early in the morning and staff assisted us in getting into a room as soon as one was available. Thank you!
The Arlington is an older hotel. It has upgraded many elements, but many still remain needing a bit of help. We had not trouble with water or other elements. I think the most notable was old carpeting that needs cleaning or replacing. I know they were painting in the hotel. Still, it was quite charming. If you LOVE new hotels, this isn't the one. However, we loved it!

Everything was perfect
Breakfast was hot with lots of variety
Room was spotless and the beds were comfy

Excellent location. Nice staff.
Only one elevator was working, resulting in long wait times. I would have just used the stairs, but stair entry doors were locked and unaccessable. (You could descend the stairs, but not go up from the lobby.)
4.1
the location is good!
the room is extremely outdated, the carpet was very dirty and the bathroom was disguising.
we mentioned this to the staff on the first day, we even sent an email and on the last day they didn’t reply or checked up with anyone yet.
We checked out and were told we need to email management with our concerns. Which is also weird, if I was management and I saw the pictures we took, I would be in contact asap.
We paid almost €500 for 3 nights. This absolutely the worst hotel I ever stayed in.
4.1
The location was great! The staff was very friendly. The rooms and bathroom were very clean.
Rooms and decor were dated. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.

Central very close to Center. Conformable bed and big bath.
The room had view on some roofs. The evening before leaving we asked the reception to book a taxi for us. In the morning the taxi wasn’t there. The receptionist booked it and told us “it is on the way” trying to fool us in order to not having to admit that the previous customer left with our taxi. We complained to the taxi company and they told us that the driver didn’t have a room number, so it was the responsibility of the reception to check who takes the taxi. Customers should be able to trust that if the reception tells them something this will be done. very disappointing ☹️
