Good location, good evening meal in hotel but very disappointing room
Good location, friendly staff
Overpriced room , not what I expected. Small room, unable to open windows so uncomfortably warm during night

Utterly relaxing and charming
Local town hotel, such a change from the usual corporates. Right next to the town. The Swan had some atmosphere and so good to relax for a few days. Room was big enough, shower worked, bed was comfy. A little bit old fashioned perhaps but what would you expect in Hay! Afternoon and evenings was very warm so a drink in the garden was pretty near perfection.
Extractor fan in the bathroom rattled a bit. Might be time to replace it. Otherwise can't think of anything we did not like

Located close to River Wye for footpaths, and close to town centre for Hay castle and bookshops
Breakfast was unadventurous, but well presented.
Vegan option at lunch could have done with side dishes of vegetables.

Very comfy room in this beautiful town!
Excellent location in this beautiful book town. The meals a friend and I had were lovely. Fluffy towels, decent parking, friendly staff, spacious room.
Nothing, just a bit pricy, but it's Hay on Eye :o)
