Good & private

Open fire was lovely. Bed comfortable, Room cosy & warm. Very private & quite. Everything clean. Stairs to room very steep. Outside patio tired looking. Owners very friendly. Overall good stay.

Quiet, quaint and had everything we needed. Geoff was a fabulous host even lighting the fire for us each afternoon so we would be warm when we returned from sightseeing. will definitely book again.

A really serene place where a couple can reconnect and be tranquil in the beautiful surrounds.

Loved the scenery and quiet. The bathroom was modern and bed was very comfortable. The host met us upon arrival and was so nice!

The veranda door didn't lock and we felt uneasy about this as we slept. Always good to have a secure room when you bring your phone and little things with you. The kitchen was not too clean but breakfast was good. We had curdled milk for our coffee so just had our coffee black. I suppose it's tricky to manage many suits for a host and sometimes these aspects are overlooked.

Idyllic location, architecture, facilities. Amazingly friendly host and hostess

The host Geoff built Storey Grange with his own hands which I greatly admire. It is located in a bushy fringe of beautiful Springwood opposite a retirement home at the very end of Lalor Drive, the placard out front might be hard to spot nestled in greenery but after dark the sign is brightly lit so no prob. Storey Grange embraces you in a green world with overhanging trees (but which aren't in your way), profuse plant beds and winding brick paths to your getaway rooms. Geoff upgraded us to a VERY roomy upper suite with gentle forest views. If you need room, ask if this is suite is available, it might cost a bit more. The supplied breakfast catered for our GF needs, the wife cooked two delicious and filling brekkies in the well-equipped kitchenette. Coffee good. WiFi works. Nice supportive bed. Bathroom has a SPA yay! Smick and so clean. Eleven out of ten.

The location was wonderful and the pictures looked great.

The smell of mould and from the fireplace ruined the experience unfortunately. The room needed a good airing.

The place was very tired and required a good clean. Very dusty and musty. Grease stains on the fridge, cook top, cupboards. Linen was old and worn. Lighting very poor

Great location, great host, great time had!

Great location & very interesting house. Great recommendation for local walk - so many wildflowers out! Thoughtful provisioning - sparkling, cheese & nibbles, port. Loved the open fire. Spa!

Great location & host but spoilt by poor standard of accommodation

Jeff is a very accomodating & attentive host. The breakfast foods provided were plentiful.

The property is old & very dated. The rooms are cluttered with old furniture & ornaments which are dusty & some were quite grubby. The pillow cases & table cloth were all marked with stains. The property would be amazing if it was given a much needed freshen up decor make over.

Barbeque was filthy Mould in ceiling near spa Cupboards were not wiped clean on shelves Some power points were loose

Amongst the treetops

Perfect location amongst the tree tops, the room was old worldly and very comfy, bacon, eggs and milk supplied and the kitchen was very user friendly

The steps were a little steep but other than that the stay was perfect

Umm we had a rat in our toilet and dirty dishes from before in the dishwasher, also very strange this morning. Someone left “help” on our door from the outside, it was so strange because it wasn’t there before and we thought maybe someone came over to check on us because the fire alarm went off but no knocked on the door and we were up for another hour, it freaked us out a little

Amazing!

Relaxing and comfortable - the perfect getaway. Arrived to a warm fireplace with port and chocolates. The spa bath was so spacious and nice! Breakfast and kitchen facilities were great - with all main condiments provided and even a bottle of champagne! There is a nearby little lookout which was nice. Geoff was very friendly and overall a wonderful host.

Could hear some noise from upstairs, woke my hubby up a few times since he was a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me at all! Lighting is a little dim, which is perfect for ambiance, but not so much for reading.

Everything was perfect. So relaxing and peaceful. Geoff is a great host and has a great home. Provided everything you need. Even a bottle of champagne and port to sip by the fire Definately recommend. Free wifi also.
