Secluded, private, clean, good food, well appointed rooms for price point.
Stunning location and amazing staff.
Mattress was comfortable enough and good but not amazing, however I am aware that there are many gradual improvements underway and this is a very minor observation
I hated leaving

Amazing service, beautiful location and amenities are fabulous
It is a bit isolated, but not a bad thing for us

The Wellesley is a slice of heaven/nirvana/paradise on earth.
It is serene, the gardens are stunning with a stream flowing through the centre of the resort.
The accomodation is exactly as shown on website, each room beautifully furnished and absolutely IMMACULATELY clean.
At this price point it’s truly exceptional.
The current menu is limited, however the food is excellent homemade everything fresh from scratch daily… and the inclusive breakfast is ridiculously good, it would be sensational in any trendy Melbourne eatery.
But the very very best thing is without question the staff led by the resort manager Rizwan who is the most amazing host we have ever experienced… his kind thoughtful attention to every need and those “little” touches that make things so memorable for guests like his daily homemade tropical oats, juices, cake. His warm welcome at the front is like coming home. He leads an amazing, hardworking warm and beautiful team… from Dee to Raj and every single one who bent over backwards to make us feel like old friends.

Wellesley Resort is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. Quiet, secluded, with beautiful grounds and gardens; it has a picturesque resort pool overlooking the white sandy beach and coral reef and a beachfront deck to relax on. Our villa was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a private plunge pool which was amazing. The staff are incredible, delivering amazing service. Special thanks to them all, especially Riz, the manager and Raj, the chef. Nothing was too much for Riz, he made sure our every needs were met and went above and beyond. Raj delivered amazing, freshly cooked meals every time. The view from the dining room/deck is sensational and fresh flowers decorated our table with every meal. Sabin took us fishing in the reef and we brought back 5 snapper which were cooked for our lunch. It is a 10 minute walk along the beach to the next resort, you will meet local villagers on the way as you pass their beachfront village. The resort is off the main road and secluded but that’s what makes it special. We had a hire car which made getting to the resort and out and about much easier. The dirt road from the main sealed road is easy to drive. We hope to return to one day to experience another stay in paradise

The moment we arrived, we felt a warm Bula welcome and were put at ease immediately to feel at home! The vibe was awesome and this continued throughout our stay. We had lovely welcoming drinks. It is a relaxing atmosphere and all the facilities aid this. Reece is an excellent manager who goes out of his way to chat, cook and arrange an activity every day for his guests from walks to fishing or a massage in the local village where he walks you over. Reece takes great pride in the food treats he makes during your visit and his cooking is amazing! Dee is an absolute gem as well! She is so warm and welcoming every time she sees you and ensures you are comfortable with anything you need at all times. She is very observant as well and will bring you cold water when you get back from the beach, walks or lying by the pool. Dee loves ensuring the facilities are always covered with fresh flowers from the land and makes the resort beautiful. Saheel is such an amazing addition to this small team, he is a jack of all trades and takes the time to chat and tell you about the area, local fauna and flora as well as ask you about yourself. The locals play touch rugby on the beach in the evening and invited my husband more than once to join them. This was an absolute highlight! They were awesome and so kind. Mary in the village does a must do massage for fjd $50! This entire team is so welcoming and encompassing the true Bula spirit! We will be back for sure to enjoy the quiet retreat in the forest, pool and beach. A note that you must bring your own alcohol. There is a fridge in your room to keep this cold.
Would have liked more breakfast options. These were delicious and well prepared but the same everyday. The resort needs new and more kayaks to enjoy the water more.

the room, the view was spot on for me. Breakfast was included and that was lovely too not forgetting lunch. We didnt have dinner but im sure that would also be yummy.
nothing really

The place, surrounds, pool and beach are excellent. - it is in a pretty valley leading to an excellent each. The food is exceptional. A wisely small menu, properly cooked with good ingredients, with some specials. Good friendly staff, - a mention to the manager, who seems to hold the place together single handed at times.. We also appreciated that the resort is adults only.
While not really an issue for me, is that the resort is alcohol free, and while Wifi is available in the common area, it does not stretch to the room, not is there any TV available at all. So - load up the lapttop with movies, - if that's you thing.

ansonsten alles top :-)

Beautiful resort, pool is a good size, rooms are very nice, perfect beachfront location
Staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly
Common in Fiji but lots of ants in the room, very very quiet I was alone at dinner most nights, you have to travel quite far out of the resort to do anything, wifi only in reception

Dinners were nice, garden pleasant and beach very nice.
Was not as advert. No tv. Staff were not very friendly and getting information or even finding them was hard. Lots and lots of maintenance needed on the buildings. 4 staff doing the gardens every day but nobody fixing buildings etc. Examples: villa pool missing tiles, villa garden needed weeding and cleaning including all furniture. Shower taps coming out of the wall, no TV as advertised. Main area, pictures off walls, rusty nails sticking out of the decking, deck post rope holder log not secured and broken,. Lots and lots of H&S issues that could be easily sorted but it seems that the garden is more inportant. No prices on dinner menu,s....overall needs staff retraining and a big maintance job doing on the buildings. Until this is complete I would downgrade its rating.

The staff was amazing, the rooms were lovely and the snorkling amazing.
Supplies were very limited. They ran out of several items at the bar - wine, tequila, mixers. Coffee was horrible.
Meals were 2 star.

It was ok but the free breakfast was not.
The food was very poor and the owner needs to spend some money to get it up to standard

Wow
Just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Wellesley
The hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated in a beautiful garden that slopes down to a lovely sandy beach
The room and food was of a high standard and the staff just fantastic
Ann the receptionist can arrange anything from visiting an eco park, to walking on sand dunes, shopping in Suva, diving with sharks or a rugby match
Vinaka Wellesley for a great holiday
Regards
Kemal and Mary

The staff were friendly and helpful under awful circumstances
The place shouldn't be open.

The staff are very hospitable; the pool in the villa is well maintained
The Lovo is far too overpriced relative to comparable places. Stick to the a la carte menu

I got the distinct sense this resort is still getting back to being fully open. Some of the rooms are nice. But for the price paid the overall facility isn't quite up to scratch.
The food was generally tasty and not overpriced (but it did make us sick).
Both my partner and I had food poisoning the entire time we were there (no other issues anywhere else in Fiji).
They have a strange mobile WiFi system
Other than snorkelling they don't offer any activities.
As the resort is far from the main road, if you don't have a car you are at the resort for your entire stay.

The staff at Wellesley Resort were excellent -- friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The room was large and comfortable, and the a/c worked well. The breakfasts and dinners were great -- the chef listened to our request and customized the preparation for us. There is a lovely, scenic beach just outside the resort, great for bathing and snorkeling. The hotel arranged an onsite antigen COVID test for our travel, which was reasonably priced (FJD $45/person) -- the results came back within 3 hours.
We could not get a cellular connection at the resort on our phone. It appears only Vodafone works there (barely), but not Digicel. There was no Wifi in the room, however the hotel provided us a Vodafone Wifi router whose Internet connection cut in and out. To get to the resort, one has to take a long 4 km dirt road off the main highway -- it can be fun for some, inconvenient for others. If one wants to go the city and back it can add around 40 min to the trip.

The staff were superb from the manager down to the gardeners. We really loved it and would gladly have stayed longer. Any request was dealt with and with a broad smile. Whatever these guys are being used paid, it really isn't enough. One tiny observation, the dinner menu could do with being a tiny bit broader.! 😏
Restaurant service was a little slow, especially for drinks from the bar.

rooms were private and good size but a very small wardrobe, the bed was hard and not too comfortable and the bathroom needs an update if the resort wants to claim they are a boutique resort
basic menu, feel that the website portray the resort, rooms and activities to a higher standard that we received. although there were warnings about a cyclone and the first bit of wind the resort had issues with their generator and had no power we did not receive any breakfast or coffee that morning. important to maintain the generator if cyclone warnings are issued.

Staff were amazing - very warm and welcoming!! Location and property were amazing!! Food was brilliant (massive highlight)! Couldn't have asked for more. Exceeded expectations!
Would've liked our room to be more sealed so less bugs came in, however this was not a big problem.
