Cheaper Option

Management were very courteous & polite

Very old dated dark room & furniture. Bed 'croaked' loudly with movement. Bathroom dated..toilet seat made loud noise. Plumbing in shower really bad..hot water took 5 mins to come...then was scolding. Fire alarm was not working. Bedside tables & other covered in dust.

Good value for money

Clean,comfortable and in a good location. We loved being able to bring our dog with us on holiday and he loved meeting other dogs staying. Managers were friendly and let us check in early Easy walk to Marks Point and dog friendly beaches Hams and Redhead are close to accommodation by car.

Rooms were good

Bathroom was a bit smelly. Not sure why?? EV charger was available but had to pay for it. No information of EV charger availability in booking or anywhere. Would be good to know it's available at the premises.

I stayed 2 weeks earlier in room 6 and it was a very lovely room with modern clean furniture and comfortable leather chairs. This time it cost more so I expected same or better but our room had ugly dated furniture.

convenient. operator friendly until concern was raised.

very soft, saggy bed in room 25. 2 people just roll into middle…. so I left partner in queen and I slept in single. Asked operator if there was a room with better bed coz this one saggy and bad. operator said never had complaints about bed and no further response so we put up with it. we checked reviews and saw many accolades for great beds so we gave up. won’t stay there again and will tell our friends for all that’s worth. 🙃

Great central location for day trips

The owner was very nice, the pool was great to cool down. The location is great for day trips to explore all the beaches around. Pets allowed so there were several dogs around, but none caused any trouble (including ours :) ) There’s also a shard BBQ.

There were heaps of cockroaches in the fridge, cupboards, drawers. Apartment was dirty.

Clean and affordable.

Nice and clean, very good value , 7-11 close by and cafe and takeaway in Marks Point not far away. Really appreciated having a decent fridge and freezer which is not always a given in this type of accommodation.

Pillows were quite firm but that's mainly cause I like a really dead pillow...most people would probably be ok.

Disappointed

The location was great for daily fishing. The shopping centre is very close by.

The bedding and towels weren't changed daily throughout the stay. The management has changed recently so it isn't as good. The bin in the common area was consistently full. Lots of regulars reported they wouldn't be back.
