Schönes Hotel, mit kleinen notwendigen Verbesserungen

Pool zu klein, Service am Pool nicht gut . Dauert zu lange . Es fragt niemand , man muss als Kunde nach vorne laufen. Viel mehr Umsatz wäre möglich, wenn die Kellner aufmerksam wären

Luxurious & decadent, the jewel of Suva

Our stay was wonderful for my husband’s birthday treat. We loved the buffet breakfast, swimming in the pool and very friendly, helpful staff

Wonderful. The perfect place to be if you have to be in town.

The location is perfect. Near city center but very quiet, with a park on one side and the ocean on the other. The swimming pool is great, long enough to really swim. Wi-Fi works fine. In room dining efficient, smiling staff, good food. The TV could connect to my phone, allowing me to watch the programs I wanted.

I missed a paper pad in the room. And a shop in the lobby with basics.

Highly recommend this as the best place to stay in Suva, for heritage, comfort, location and friendly vibe.

Lovely heritage building, beautifully restored with photos, staff were engaging and friendly, bedrooms super comfortable and great view, top class breakfast.

Great location and very clean.

No toothbrush or paste. Lights were not adequate at dressing mirror. Breakfast items at buffet didn’t have much selections for this standard hotel.

Compared to other hotels that we stayed at during our travel, this stay was a disappointment.

We enjoyed the breakfast and scenery from our rooms. Rooms were big. Staff were friendly.

We had to wait a long time for check in. There was only one staff on duty. The adjoining rooms we requested was not given so we had to be separated from our children. The furniture in the room was not what we expected to have at this hotel. The room was big and with a big bed, but only ONE comfy chair. It was very noisy for the first two nights with children crying in the middle of the night. The carpet inside and outside our room had stains and did not look clean.

the highlight of our visit to Fiji after 32 years was our staying at the GPH. It was worth the money

we loved the breakfast. There were so many to choose from and the cooking was absolutely amazing. The staff were fantastics especially my new friend Joe Grace. Loking forward to visit you again.

Hotel storico di Suva. Personale molto gentile. Camere spaziose ma standard. Colazione continentale molto ricca. Ristoranti nella media. La migliore scelta (forse l'unica?) per passare qualche notte a Suva.

Le parti più recenti annesse al struttura principale sono poco curate e banali. La manutenzione delle aree comuni può essere migliorata. Secondo me ha perso il fascino che aveva un tempo ed è diventato un hotel come tutti gli altri.

The Royal Treatment

Great having full food service at the bar. Check in staff were very accommodating adding our IHG membership after the fact, getting early access to room and arranging early morning transfer to airport

Grand Pacific surpasses its name!

The Pool has good quality water clarity and is a perfect size and perfect location. Staff were outgoing, warm and sincere. The reception gave me ground level room and when they say my face ( a little concerned) they said let me see what I can do. I went for a swim and came back to reception where the line was exceptionally long. The manager, Laura, noticed me and came out to see me. In a few minutes she had me up to my room #333-Ocean View, corner close to the pool! Huge shower, balcony, perfect room and a bellman that showed me the hidden fridge and other perc’s of the room. Grandest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in!

It seems pricey to me but I’m out of touch as I have been sailing for 7 years.

Het restaurant is slecht. Voor- en hoofdgerecht werden gelijktijdig gebracht. We weigerden het hoofdgerecht. Dat werd later koud. Geserveerd. Toen we dit weer weigerden werd het opgewarmd. Echt buitengewoon slecht voor een dergelijk hotel

I just love coming to the Grand Pacific Hotel. This was my second visit here and I thoroughly enjoye

The buffet breakfast had plenty of food to eat. The variety was also good. The rooms were beautifully presented and well maintained. Even though we had a room with the pool view we could see the ocean, which was fantastic.

I liked everything. There was nothing that I could pin point that I didn't like.

The staff were perhaps the greatest asset of the hotel. The room was excellent, above expectations.

The Chef who cooked our breakfast each morning was exceptional. Very gracious and especially capable. In fact, the staff at all levels of responsibility were truly delightful.

A matter which we feel needs particular attention was the musty smell of the pillows. We were embarrassed to request a change of pillows on a number of occasions until we finally realised that this was a problem that we were not going to avoid. While they were comfortable, one could not escape the musty smell that was present no matter which pillows we used. It seemed to us that almost certainly this was the result of storage that did nothing to insulate these pillows from the influence of the very humid climate. We had fully intended to offer constructive feedback on the matter of pillows and your request for the review has allowed for this. Please refer these comments to the highest level of your oversight.

Enjoyed the hospitality the food were fresh and delicious. Rooms were . It was immaculate.

It is a colonial building. It has a lot of history about this hotel. Most of the time it has been used to accommodate some of the members of British Royal family. They have a lovely cafe at the front of hotel. They have medical centre and a beautiful Jewellery shop. ❤️

I think there should be a coffee place or platform upstairs to cater for guests who have their rooms downstairs would like to catch a glimpse of the parade across the road at Albert park. Just for guests only. As I was a guest downstairs we did ask the receptionist but we were told it was not allowed.

GPH needs to train the staff members to be friendly and be at service with a smile

Customer service when I came to the hotel to checking the staff member that served me seemed rude and unfriendly no smile no greet I was amazed at that behavior of hers. She probably needs customer care training or in the wrong industry. Mostly we check in to a a friendly staff member but this was different its sad to see tourists coming from afar to spend holidays and the smile we expect turns out unfriendly

The facility and location is excellent and bar staff facilitated a nice family evening with nibbles and dinner by the pool with friends

I essentially had to pay for my stay twice and despite approval from my provider (booking.com) to refund the monies paid from the initial booking, the hotel refused. So I had already paid for 4 days (via booking.com) and had to pay for a new booking of 2 days only as the hotel refused to recognise the message from my booking provider. Circumstances changed and due to a family bereavement. I came one day earlier and had to cut my stay by 2 days but despite explaining this several times (as different staff kept on dealing with me and had to re-explain things!!), no solution was given by the hotel and I was charged again and the previous monies not refunded (if partially). Was just disappointed with the poor customer service. Really like the venue and would love to stay again as travel frequently to Suva from New Zealand....but having second thoughts due to this issue

It was amazing and came as a beautiful haven in between busy meetings. Will definitely visit again!

Very good hotel with excellent service.

Breakfast was just above average, hot food was lukewarm. Room was great - huge bathroom. Was able to get in before stated check-in time which was much appreciated. Gym was average. Room cleaning was excellent. All staff were friendly. Great balcony overlooking the road.
