The breakfast was wonderful. Roberto also offered advice about visiting sites in the area. Everyone on the staff were very welcoming and kind. The rooms were quiet. The terrace was beautiful. The common areas were comfortable.
We don’t have anything negative to say!

Our stay at Magma Home was exceptional. The staff were amazing. We had to change the time of arrival, however the staff were still accomodating. We received many recommendations from the staff on the best places to go and eat, which made the experience of Naples even better.
The location from Magma Home was excellent, a short walk to most things, however still quiet and not crowded. The room was beautiful and unique, and the views from the terrace were stunning. The breakfast was also amazing!
2 nights was not a long enough stay at Naples and Magma Home, we are already planning our trip back!!

Great location, clean and beautiful. The lovely breakfast at the rooftop terrace with a view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius was one of the highlights of our stay in Naples. We were two families travelling together and staying here was great since we could hang out together in the common kitchen, living room and terrace. The staff was very friendly and helped us find our way around Naples.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel/hostel. We were welcomed by Caterina with ice cold water (much needed after lugging ourselves and our cases up from the port) and a long list of personalised recommendations for our stay.
The room was beautiful, with a large copper bath facing into the bedroom, and a little balcony to relax on. The rooms are decorated eccentrically which suited our style perfectly.
The crowning glory of this place, however, is the two roof terraces overlooking the city. The views are incredible, and we took advantage every morning (for the lovely breakfast) and every evening (for a glass of wine before dinner). It was an oasis in a vibrant city.
Nothing that the owners could control. It was a bit of a walk uphill from the main road, and then it was on the third floor of the building, so it helps to be a bit fit! But it was nice to walk off our dinner every night.

Amazing home from home. Great to have so much shared space including kitchen for cooking and lounge and roof terrace for relaxing! It's not shared between many rooms either so you are likely to have it to yourself, or can take the time to meet other travellers.
Fantastic service with eggs for breakfast cooked to order right in the kitchen of the flat next to the rooms, so it feels more like you are a guest in a home. Would also be a great place to stay with kids.

Love the Breakfast and the decoration of the place. Great communication and host. Love hanging out at the place with my kids. My kids even loved the place.
Initially there was a smell coming from outside. The place itself was very clean and neat.

The rooms are a great size, the communal areas were full of art pieces and very welcoming, it is great to have breakfast on the wonderful rooftop terraces and for relaxing after a day sightseeing. Magma Home is a short distance from the Archaeological Museum and it is easy to walk to sights in Naples old town. The staff are very helpful and informative.
We booked 2 rooms, one was fantastic, the other was great too but would benefit from an extra blind and just needed a minor repair which was fixed quickly by the helpful owner and staff.

Set in a traditional apartment which was lovely, very eclectic. Also have access to a kitchen area, sitting room and roof terrace. Central location so could walk into the historic area in ten minutes.
Just be aware it’s on the top floor and you need to go up three flights of stairs to reach the apartment, there is no lift - so this may be an issue for some people. The breakfast was average.

Not enough vegetarian options for breakfast needed things like crepes / cereals

Close to the town center and well connected. Quiet street, which is not easy to find in Naples.
As announced, no wifi on the rooms and massive stairs. Unexpectedly, 2 out of the 5 beds were not that but just cushions together. Photos are not for the rooms but for the common area.

Bad attitude from staff made us feel unwelcome. They were in a very bad mood and invaded our space in a rude manner when air conditioning failed. The fact that we were actually sharing the common space with more people than they let us know about made us uncomfortable. This spoilt an otherwise great space.

There were certain issues with the locks and one of the handles broke
; there were no doors on the bathrooms which was very inconvenient especially since we were a group of friends.

Really warm family feel. The breakfast was amazing.
Our room for a family of 4 was a little small. We have older teenagers, and needing a little more space.

Fun eclectic assortment of activities and art. Rooftop area is fun and scenic
Trouble having wifi work in rooms due to thick brick walls.

Great location for walking to sights. Bedrooms were lovely, spotlessly clean with good air conditioning. Friendly welcome from Katrina who gave us a walk through on a map of the different areas of interest in Naples. Breakfast on the roof terrace a real bonus.
We were unsure as to what joint facilities were available to us in the kitchen area for example. Take them seriously when they say it is up 3 flights of stairs if bringing heavy suitcases!

If you are looking for a creative and unique place to stay, where you can feel the personal and artistique touch you are definitaley in the right spot. The B&B is close to the metro/centre and yet very calm and quiet.
The whole staff was open to chit chat with us and if we had questions about the city they where answered.
The matress comfort is very personal and we are totaly aware of this, and for our personal taste it was a bit too soft and the pillows too thick.

Ciara’s tips and recommendations were amazing - they made the trip. the home is exceptionally comfortable and beautiful. Caterina’s breakfast was amazing.
nothing - it was perfect.

The property was unique, comfortable and close to any and everything we wanted to experience.
Loved it all.

We liked the quiet location, the proximity to the archeological museum and the fact that we could easily walk to all main objectives. There is also a subway station nearby which can be useful as it connects you with the entire city.
The breakfast was basic, but good (enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice) and served on the rooftop terasse which was nice as it offered a great view over the Vesuvius.
The place can be a great for groups as there are many common places to spend time together.
There was a bit of miscommunication with the checkin procedure, which made me anxious, but I realize that both sides could have communicated better - I could have asked about the procedure if we arrive earlier/later, the hosts could have offered this info. As we arrived a bit earlier, we waited 30 min in front of the building until we received the entry code.
The shower drainage did not work properly, so we had to be careful.

Funky design and art. Very friendly staff. They switched us to a different room when we realized we would have trouble with climbing a ladder to the bed. We would have loved this a few years ago but now we’re in our 70’s not so much.
Lots of uphill walking and many stairs from the Metro and three long flights of stairs once inside the property..

Breakfast exceptional - lovely pastries, fresh orange juice and delicious eggs - lovely Katerina served us every day. View for breakfast on the terrace was amazing - Vesuvius very clear. Bella ringing around and swifts flying overhead. A very peaceful spot in a frantic city.
