The house was just as described, perfect for us with 4 kids in the 5-8 yr old range. The beach just outside the door is soft and shallow, no waves and at low tide the water recedes a ways so that the kids can play and look for hermit crabs, shells, etc. The master bedroom is nice, the others are small- just room enough for a bed and nightstands. And the kitchen is fairly small, but there is also a grill on the spacious deck. Overall it was just what we were looking for and we had a great time!

(1) location is great, tho a little bit of a walk to where everything is
(2) Linda is really awesome. Helpful and responsive
(3) place is rustic, no frills. If you are looking for a modern, updated place, this is not for you. But it has almost everything you need.

Virtually zero complaints - it wasn't cheap, but it was perfect for us. We have been to Provincetown almost every year for decades, and this was a spectacular stay. It isn't a resort stay, this a true Cape Cod beach rustic house with anything you really want - your own beach, cool ocean breeze, grilling outside, and a nice walk to everything you want in Provincetown. Linda was awesome, she is no nonsense and it felt more like staying with family than at a rental. Loved it.

This property at 597 Commercial St. is just on the edge of commercial properties that start downtown Ptown. A great beachfront right outside the front door. Parking on one way, narrow, Commercial St. can be challenging; however, there is private parking for the propery about 100 yards away. I took a 14' inflatable with a 30 hp, but launching is limited to one ramp with little trailer storage at the launch. Rustically decorated so you don't have to worry about scratching a dining room table. Owner lives upstairs, which could be doubled-edged, but worked out well for our older, quiet, family. Owner is very nice, and knowledgable.
Master bedroom with full bath on water side with entry onto front deck plus three more bedrooms sharing the other full bath, plus an outside rinsing shower. Washer and dryer, but dryer didn't seem to work well. Good entertainment center for those rare rainy days, and quiet, very scenic, location. Pet friendly property that our dogs and granddaughter would definitely visit again.

Lovely place. Linda was very responsive to questions and requests (e.g. propane for the grill, water for the cooler). I look forward to going back!

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in Provincetown. The house is in a great location and my boys enjoyed the beach and the bay out our back door!! The house was very clean and all the essentials were there. The outside shower was great so never used the indoor ones! The kitchen had everything we needed and grilling on the back deck was the way to go. Biking into town for ice cream each night was good fun.
Linda was very accommodating when I had a few requests during our stay.
The houses along the bay are very close to each other so not too much privacy if there are guests in the adjacent houses. We expected this from a previous review so we were not surprised.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The décor was fitting to the area, with some wonderful pieces of artwork. The house fit our party of 6 very comfortably. The view of the bay was amazing, and the working fireplace made it extra comfy on a couple of the brisk nights during our stay.
It's a little bit of a walk to downtown, but scenic and easily done. There is Uber in the area, but it's very sporadic when they are available.
I would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend this property to friends.

Eight of us stayed at the house this past weekend. The location is fantastic, RIGHT on the beach and about 20 minutes stroll into the center of town. There is a good sized deck overlooking the beach, equipped with plenty of chairs a table with sun umbrella and a grill. The living area is generous with an open concept living and dinning room facing a wall of windows overlooking the water. The dining room table fit 8 of us nicely.
A huge plus is that the owner provided parking spaces for 4 of our cars; I don't know what we would have done otherwise as parking is tough in that area!
There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and it's own bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms are small but do the job of providing a place to sleep and leave your stuff in. There is a day bed in the living area which could accommodate a 9th guest. The kitchen was on the smaller size, but everything worked! We used a lot of the pots and pans that were provided, so it was nice we didn't have to bring any of these with us.
The house is older and not updated, but we knew that prior to booking and I think that is reflected in the price. It has everything we needed and more! The only points of improvement for me would be providing hand soap in both bathrooms, and maybe providing more than one roll of paper towels and one trash bags. Not a huge deal because we picked these up in town, but would be nice.
Thanks Linda!
