It's good to be back

I first stayed here in 2001 or 2002, I dont remember exactly when, but it was LONG time ago. Last time I visited was in 2016/17 and never returned to Istanbul since, SO, you can imagine how excited I was to be back in the city, and I decided to stay at the Ritz Carlton. The space and its incredible luxurious scent largely are the same as I remember. The breakfast (which was a kind gesture from the reception team) was delicious and accompanied by an unbelievably stunning view (I am not a breakfast person, but I had breakfast on all days when I was there!). I treated myself to a front-facing room, which had a view that was out of a fairytale. Thanks to the entire team, who were kind enough to reconnect (from the staffers that I got to know during my previous visits) and make sure everything was top-tier and that the trip was enjoyable. They were very generous. Thank you <3

A somewhat limited night menu for room service, but that's a good problem to have!

Wonderful stay at the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul

Amazing staff, so attentive and kind. Riham, the Concierge in the Club Lounge, looked after us so well. She was a delight.

We had a great experience and wonderful stay. We loved everything about the hotel.

Top Lage, Weltklasse, Super Service, gepaart mit umwerfender Aussicht auf den Bosporus

Ein tolles Hotel mit spitzen Restaurant wie z.b. das "ATOLYE" (Anatolische Küche), die VAKKO Brasserie, The Roof Restaurant im 2. Stock und natürlich für Sushi Liebhaber das Nobu. Der Spa ist ebenfalls mit professionellen Anwendungen, Hamam und Massagen, wie auch Saunen und Dampfbäder mit einem wunderschönen großen pool.......nicht wegzudenken Ein professionelles Frühstücksbuffet, sehr freundliches und immer sich anbietendes service Personal und natürlich von Zimmern, Restaurants und Roof top ein supertoller Ausblick über den Bosporus.

Great Hotel with amazing staff!

I had the room towards the road, I did hear the cars on several times of the day. Meaning it was not sound proof. Breakfast was amazing and the staff outstanding.

Noise from outside, bad sound isolation.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location of the property is also very comfortable for the walking people. Since we had the city view, it was different than what we were expecting

Service in Nobu Language barrier should be clear, it seemed to us that the staff was pretending to understand when clearly they were not understanding, the discussion.

This isn't a hotel to WOW you with first impressions.

Perfect location with fantastic view. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful.

The Hotel is dated, the TV system is absolutely trash. It’s should be updated to a new modern like most hotels these days. The hotel room size is smaller compared to other Ritz-Carlton hotels.

Amazing service in the heart of Istanbul

In a country renowned for its hospitality, the Ritz Carlton Istanbul provides the best service hands down. All the employees were attentive and responsive to all our needs during our two night stay. Bora at Guest Relations greeted us and our checkin was a breeze. Berkay served us and helped pick the delicious dishes at Atölye Restaurant and Uğur, the trainee, took us around the hotel and helped us many times in the lobby. We spent most of our day at their rooftop pool and restaurant, called the Roof, and would like to especially thank the staff there as well. Our room 312 was on the third floor with Bosporus views with a spacious white marble bathroom and housekeeping did a great job. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Exceptional staff and unparalleled Bosphorus view

Champagne as a welcome, exceptionally friendly staff (Muhammet who served us at breakfast is outstanding - so forthcoming, attentive and polite), fantastic view over the Bosphorus, great pool and lounge area

There are no sockets in the bathroom to use hairstyling tools other than the dryer provided

Very noisy with concert venue and hosted events on pool deck

The room was nice

Noise. There’s a big concert venue across from one side of the building. That went on for 2 nights in a row and involved sound checks all day. We asked to move rooms to the other side if it’s quieter (even took a downgrade). They move me and I get peace and quiet one night. But the next night (Monday), there’s a wedding on the pool deck that blasted music towards our side of the building until midnight. It was LOUD. And the only thing the staff could offer us was ear plugs. If they told me in advance I would have never switched rooms because the concert venue was way quieter than the wedding. They didn’t even ask us how our stay was when we checked out. Never again will we stay there.

الاقامه رائعه والمكان جميل النظافه جيده جدا لكن مستوى الفخامه اقل من المتوقع

للاسف مرتبه السرير غير جيده وغير مريحه من الواضح انها متهالكه من كثر الاستخدام .. السعر مقابل الفخامه ( فخامه الغرف ليست كالمتوقع )

Не хочется возвращаться , на обратную дорогу выбрали другой отель

Месторасположение и вид из окна на Босфор. Приличный завтрак

Это не Ритц Карлтон! Что угодно, но не он. Это уровень отеля в лучшем случае слабая 4*. Очень разочаровались. Все обшарпанное, старое, пыльное. Ресепшен очень странный ощущение, что пришел в какой- то продуктовый магазин. Вход через ленту , как в аэропорту вообще отдельная сказка, хотелось развернуться и сразу уйти оттуда. В отеле такого уровня я еще не встречала таких процедур приветственных. Мы подъехали ко входу вышли из машины с тремя маленькими детьми и нас всех отправили с багажом , сумками на ленту контроля 🫣. Номер люкс очень маленький, не комфортный. делюкс был большой , он соответствует стандарту. постельное белье ужасное не удобные подушки и одеяло, обычно в Ритце такого не увидишь.

Luxurious stay.

The club lounge facility and staff were amazing. Food in the lounge was of a high standard. The room was spacious and good views.

The process at the main entrance door is very chaotic. The doormen do not open the heavy doors for all guests only certain guests. They are busy engaging in conversation with themselves. I have highlighted this ok my previous stay as well but it hasn’t changed.

Sehr gepflegtes und schönes Hotel mit tollem Service, freundlichem Personal und guter Lage

Sehr schöner Blick auf Posporus in einem sehr gepflegten Hotel. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr gutes Essen und sehr gut auch das Restaurant Nobu im Hotel. Perfekt war Hr. Adem, ein Taxifahrer vom Hotel - unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Eine Empfehlung für alles Gäste, die ein Taxi für diverse Fahrten benötigen.
