Niet voor herhaling vatbaar

Het werd netjes schoon gehouden.

Het was een beetje ‘vervallen’. Veel beschadigingen op de kamer, gedateerde badkamer, bed en kussen waren zacht, geen mogelijkheid om te strijken behalve via wasservice. Daarnaast lag het aan een steile heuvel, doordat wij nog geen auto hadden moesten we telkens te voet. Dit was een zware klim, zeker wanneer het warm is.

Was a lovely hotel with friendly staff and clean facilities.

Views looking out from the balcony of the hotel were amazing. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness was A1. Breakfast had lots of choice. Bar snacks were very nice. Rooms clean and beds very comfy.

The pool was not open and although it is very small it is one of the reasons we booked this hotel as no other hotels had pools in the area we needed to stay.

Pleasant and served its purpose but is not what I was expecting for the rating

Quiet location, Big Terrace with great city views, walkable down to town ( far to steep for us to walk back up!), large choice of breakfast items including lots of Gluten free options. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Pool was much smaller than the pictures indicate, and it was not clean and was closed during our stay. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms which if you wanted you had to go to the foyer and pay for it. Rooms are a little tired and need some renovation. For example my friends room had no doors on the wardrobe! Cracked tiles etc

Für eine Nacht perfekt.

Die Aussicht auf Girona by Night war toll, denn das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen auf einem Hügel. Mit dem Taxi kamen wir für 9 € zurück aus der City.

Das Restaurant machte erst um 19.30 auf und wir waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs und wollten schon früher essen.

El hotel, el personal, de primera. La ubicación no nos vino buén,por nuestras limitaciones.

Sol quedamos una noche, Cuando hicimos la reserva, no sabíamos que el hotel no estaba en el centro de Gerona. Mi señora tiene ostioporosis y yo 92 años, del hotel al centro es una caminata y a cuesta arriba. Cambiamos de hotel, las señoritas de la recepción, fueron de primera, de simpatía, y de buena voluntad. Nos ayudaron encontrar alojamiento para el seguite día,

Très agréable, idéalement situé et très silencieux.

La situation de l'hôtel est idéale, un peu en hauteur avec une superbe vue sur Gérone. La chambre était très agréable et l'entrée impressionnante. Le petit déjeuner est très complet avec du sucré et du salé.

La cloison entre la chambre et la salle de bain en verre. La présence des toilettes dans la salle de bains oblige à allumer la lumière et cela éclaire toute la chambre. Très gênant la nuit.

Un lugar tranquilo para descansar.

La terraza con vistas es muy bonita. La cama es grande y confortable y la habitación espaciosa y limpia. Está alejado del ruido y es tranquilo.

Si te desplazas andando al centro el hotel está en cuesta. La piscina no es tan grande como parece en la fotografía.

Don't believe the pictures..poor value

The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The staff were off hand to the point of being rude. The depiction of the swimming pool is grossly exaggerated and when i questioned about this the reply was rude to the point of hostility, even though same picture is used on their own coffee machines in the hotel. And oh yes, it was breakfast by numbers , adequate on choice and quality but not at the price.

awful

the view from the car park. no view from room

paper thin walls, no sound proofing. couple next door woke us up at about 2.50 am when they came back to their room. they spent the next 3 hours yelping and grunting until we could stand no more and checked out at 5.50 am. the hotel offered no reduction and just said “oh sorry” the previous night it started raining heavily and reception had no umbrellas. they said they all broke (and clearly didn’t think to replace any). there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and it was the bare minimum- not 4star as claimed. we have stayed in numerous hotels over many decades sheets were damp and the room cold we would have been more comfortable in the car

Great views and beautiful hotel

The facility itself was very beautiful and the views from the hotel great. The room was nice, big enough and clean.

As I read the earlier reviews many months ago, it seems they have really not done anything to many people’s improvement suggestions. We noticed the same big minus sides: -The Wi-Fi didn’t work almost at all in the room (very annoying after a long day). -We chose the hotel for its pool but the pool was VERY small and there were only 5 sunbeds that the tourists were fighting for. On the terrace there is a lot of extra space so wouldn’t be that big of an investment to buy like at least 10 more sunbeds (costs maybe 20€ each). Would make a BIG difference.

Arrived, stayed one night and left early for a different property in Girona. Its an outdated, unispiring hotel compared

The view is incredible

Its very dated and not quite what it seems in the pictures. We got moved rooms once due to ants… Lots of chips out of the rooms furniture and some wall paper peeling off. The pool looks big enough in the pictures to swim, In reality it is tiny. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. All this is ok if you’re paying €60 a night not 120.

Very contemporary, spacious and light. Great breakfast.

The view is the best part. It has a great view of the town and distant mountains/hills. We were told by the taxi driver we would need a taxi to get back into the town but actually it wasn't that far and its an interesting walk, however, it does feel a little cut off. The outside seating area is great with small pool. The inside feels modern and light, bright. The breakfast was very good and the dining area comfortable and again light and pleasant. All felt very contemporary and well considered. Lovely foyer.

It was a shame we couldn't get anything to eat except nuts and olives on arrival after getting in from a long flight/taxi ride. However, we did get to have a beer on the balcony area which is lovely. The pool is much smaller than I would have expected - just for cooling off not for swimming.

Wonderful staff!

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, they stepped in to assist us with reservations and transport that truly saved the day!! The views were also wonderful! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!
