Great stay at a great hotel

I always stay at the Alona when I'm in the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is fantastic and the team are always very welcoming and attentive.

Hotel rooms starting to look bit tired. Very busy area with presumably local kids doing doughnuts in the car park opposite the hotel most of the evening.

Always a pleasure to stay and will definitely come back.

Having had stayed previously, the Alona never seems to disappoint. Absolutely great location, especially if you want to chill after a long day one the road (in my case). You can chill in your room, bar, restaurant or go for a nice walk in the park. The location is absolutely gorgeous and gives access to motorway into Glasgow and Edinburgh. The staff are always very warm and welcoming and always professional. The food in the restaurant is very good too.

Very easy to find, great parking. Room was really nice and clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff were brilliant.

Room was quite warm but easy enough to turn temp down, so nothing really

Beautiful hotel with great staff.

Staff were great, Gary at reception and Eddie the night porter were both gentlemen and ensured we had an amazing experience. They are an assett to Alona with their professionalism and kindness to guests. Breakfast was beautiful. Room was spotless and spacious, lovely touch leaving biscuits on the kids pillows for them.

Nice clean accomodation easy to find ftom motorway , receptionist on check out was lovely friendly lady

Chinese staff member on reception rude not very helpful was not informed restaurant was closed when we arrived after travelling from the South we were all looking for a meal

Our only concern was the shower, the fact that when you used the shower it would always overflow and flood the bathroom making the floor very slippery.

John the chef in the morning was lovely..friendly, and chatty and got my son a lovely sauce for his pancakes Great location for m n ds too

My go to place when we go back to visit in Scotland.

Rooms spacious and clean, nice and warm, good sized bathroom, staff always really attentive.

The boulders in the car park can be a bit of a nightmare to negotiate, but a good driver should be able to clear them no problem.

Love this hotel

Lovely location, short drive away from Glasgow City. Staff are very friendly, great rooms, great breakfast that's included in the price. This is my hotel of choice when visiting my daughter.

a perfect stay .

this modern hotel is in a ideal location . it’s right off the motorway as well as being close to a couple of towns with various facilities. there is an excellent on-site restaurant where food and prices are excellent.. staff are friendly and efficient . rooms are very comfortable with everything you need . iron and ironing board . trousers press ,free and decent Wi-Fi , comfortable beds and tea/coffee facilities along with delicious tunnocks caramel wafers … what more can you ask for .. I’ll have no hesitation in staying here again and will recommend it to friends and family ..

Very accommodating and great value for money

Our travel plans did not go to plan and therefore we did not arrive at the hotel until almost 2am. We called in advance and advised of the late arrival and the staff were amazing both in the communication and upon arrival/departure. Our stay was only around 6-7 hours and for that time we were mostly sleeping so cannot comment oin the facilities but we would definitely come and stay again to explore this.

We were not there long enough to dislike anything to be fair. What we did get to experience - (VERY) late check in, a drink at the bar at that hour, the cleanliness of the room, the great staff, I would imagine could only far out way anything that could disappoint.

Everything was very good Gary the receptionist was very helpful Breakfast was very good We didn’t have a evening meal

I can’t say too much about this as we were very happy with the accommodation
