The accommodation served its purpose as it was a last minute booking and was only there for 6 hours unfortunately just to sleep
The ceilings were beautiful

Roberta was amazing, very kind, patient and helpful.
The bed was terrible. the building entry is confusing like many of the Catania hotels..

Great location in the centre of town, short walk to great restaurants and amenities.
There is no lift so all luggage has to be carried up at least 2 flights of stairs. The suite we had was very spacious but poorly furnished. There were 3 beds but no chairs.
The beds were hard with cheap mattresses and pillows.
The bathroom was in need of a complete refurbishment.

The location is great, rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind.
There was a night club under the hotel. The music was very loud and we couldn`t sleep.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the decoration of the ceiling with its stucco is nice. The private balcony is very nice, we just didn't use it because of the temperature but no doubt it is awesome in summer! Besides, the staff was friendly (they even recommended us very nice places to eat, which turned out to be really nice indeed) and it was very dark thanks to blinders, and as a hard sleeper I appreciated that.
The room was extremely cold, it was not possible to be without socks or a sweatshirt on. We were woken up by other guests 2 nights in a row, which was not super pleasant. The wall colors could be better for more light in the room but if you are out all day like we were, that should be fine. One more socket would be great, too.

Toilet flush not working! It was unable to be fixed, we weren’t given a different room, or given any sort of partial refund due to the inconvenience. If you want a working toilet , AVOID.

The bed isn't really comfortable. No lift.

Location
My room was located next to reception, it was very noisy. Thin walls, could hear my neighbours television. Noisy nightclub nearby. No breakfast included, rather expensive for what it was.

The hotel is very central, in walking distance you get to the main attractions as well as to restaurants and bars. The personal speaks English very well, are super polite and always happy to help. The hotel is in an old building, rooms are beautiful and clean.
Booking announcement advertises with a welcome drink and free breakfast, however both is not served.

The lady on the front desk was nice but thats the only positive
The strip club underneath playing very loud music until 5am

the location was good and in the center
the decoration was old and especially the furnitures. the bed was not comfortable at all

The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. They were even able to help us out with power adaptors which I had forgotten to pack.
For English people this was a strange iteration of a ‘hotel’. It comprised a floor of rooms in a beautiful, but somewhat tired, old building. There was a ‘bar’ mentioned in the details, but this was a room with a few chairs and no sign of it being operational. We didn’t have the breakfast option on our room rate, but there was no clear dining room either.

the bed was uncomfortable, it has to be replaced

Location is very good. Big room. Very clean.
Not the best beds
9.0 / 10.0
The room is big and spacious and the building is very cute with the many rustic features. I like the old chic elegance. The location is very convienant. I left before breakfast.
The bathroom needs more modern hairdryers. The airconditioners are also a bit weak. I suggest a service.

Right around the corner to the main street and city center.
Incredibly noisy. There is a club in the next building. I am not particularly sensitive, but even the bed was resonating and I could not sleep at all. I do not recommend the accommodation to anyone who needs to travel the very next day or expect to perform some activities ..
