This is an excellent location and property which we found to be both convenient and relaxing.

A very quiet spot yet only minutes away from the bars, beaches and taverns. The host is excellent. The property has a great deal of old Crete charm coupled with the conveniences and amenities you expect today.

Two very minor points: a microwave and the TV set up for English/ German/ French/ Greek guests (as appropriate).

At first Markos is great host! He is trying to do everything to make your holiday great. Our apartment is beautiful and th highlight is terrace. Bathroom is also spacious and kind unusual in a good way. Breakfast is very good at nice ground terrace with pictures around and lot of smal interesting things. Thank you Markos 👍

Amazing accommodation, great breakfast, 5 min walk from the beach & 2 min walk from the city center

Markos is an amazing host and idili was one of the best accommodations we stayed at. The breakfast was super tasty and the accommodation is 5 minutes away from the beach which made it really easy for us to get there. The center of the village is at 3 minutes away which meant that we got to all the good restaurants super fast. Markos is really going the extra mile to make everybody feel welcomed. Everything was super cosy (just like home). 10 out of 10.

Perfect holidays in Crete!

Beautiful spacious apartment, fantastic breakfast, an excellent service, great attention to details by the hosts, all in a very nice village on the sea. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended! We will for sure come back in a bigger team 😁

The authenticity of the premises, the kindness of the hosts, and the cleanness.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming; they are kind and prepare an excellent breakfast served in one of their authentic rooms. We will certainly go back when we can again, we loved our stay!

A wonderful stay with great hosts, in a beautiful old house, in a lovely peaceful village.

The location of this beautiful old house is perfect. Edge of village so very peaceful but very close to amenities and the beach. Breakfasts served in the tranquil garden were delicious. Best of all was the hospitality. Marcos and Stella are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome and special. This was my second visit and I will be returning.

The warmest welcome we have ever experienced

The host (Marcos) made us feel so very welcome the entire time we were there. He went beyond any host we have ever met in the past, to do all that he could to make us comfortable and have all that we need. He went as far as to offer us his own parking spot for the duration of our stay, when he noticed we were struggling to park our rental car along the street. He was generous of his time, generous with small touches to make our stay special, and his attention to the smallest detail within the apartment is truly UNMATCHED.

Very good apartman in a silent street, very close to the center of the village.

The hospitality and kindness of the owner is beyond expectations. Served us with fresh fruit, local sweets, cookies, beer, juices, local food and coffe for free during the days we spent there.

Loved it, very strongly recommended!

The host met us on arrival, even though we got there quite late. They were incredibly friendly, and so kind to our son (7 years old) who absolutely loved it. Spacious and clean and comfortable room in a good location.

True heartwarming hospitality

We arrived here as our first destionation in crete and it was a wonderful start! Marcos is a really heartwarming, sympathic host. It would not be the same without him. The room is very nice and it has a beatiful garden where you can enjoy breakfast everyday. Also the village is small and cute and it has very lovely little Restaurants. The beach is not very special but there is a Hotel-Beach a bit further that is quite okay. Marcos was there every day to tell us about nice places or to offer us a little snack or a drink. And always with a smile and great hospitality. We felt very comfortable. All the best to you Marcos!

A relaxing holiday enjoying wonderful hospitality, in a spacious apartment, in a beautiful village

I loved everything about Guest House Idili. It is a beautifully renovated historical building, set in a great location on the edge of a lovely village. My lovely spacious apartment with it's huge balcony overlooking the peaceful garden was fabulous. Markos and his family were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts, served in the shaded pergola, were fresh and delicious. I intend to return to Panormos and will not hesitate to choose Idili, in order to spend more time relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the wonderful hospitality there.

It was an idyllic vacation in a Cretan village.

Breakfast was great. Markos is a phenomenal host who goes out of his way to make your time in Panormos memorable.

Markos is the best host one can imagine. He provides his house, where he was born, from the bottom of his heart and not due to profit issues. The interior is choosen with a good sense of tradition and modernity. Staying there gives you the feeling of being part of this cute cretan village. It is a very good place to relax, feel the hospitality of Crete and their people. It is only a short walk away of several cretan restaurants, run by heartly people, the nice little harbour, the sandy beach with a little good taverna and several things for a perfect holiday. We would like to come back again.

An Idili place to stay!

We loved everything about the Idili, Markos and his family are absolutely wonderful hosts, they even made us a dinner one evening which was fantastic. Markos is extremely charming and knowledgeable, and will assist you in everything you want to know about Panormos, and Crete. We stayed in the Honeysuckle room, very clean, comfortable, has everything you need. Fresh towels every day,room service, tea, coffee, and even a cute bottle of Oozo! Yum. Breakfast was very fresh, healthy, well balanced, and best of all, delicious, and a huge thanks goes out to Stephanie for providing us with this, as well as going out of her way to attend all our needs and wishes. The garden is beautiful and extremely peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and catch the sun whilst enjoying the class morning breakfast. All local restaurants are literally on your doorstep, with a handy choice of quality food and drinks. We really miss Idili already, and can't thank Markos enough for making it one of our most memorable week's away. Amazing. This is a real peace of Crete! Highly recommended for family's or couples, clean,tidy,great location,and high grade hospitality at great value prices. Thank you.

A lovely relaxing time in a beautiful friendly village.

the breakfast is perfect - using local products - and Markos is so accommodating if you tell him something you would particularly like he would try to get that for you. And this year the addition of 2 beautiful new sun loungers for garden - thank you Markos!

Great host and wonderful place to be.

Great host and wonderful place to be. We spent a couple of nights in the Hyacinth apartment during September. We had a spacious place with nice bath and balcony. The apt. was a wonderful renovated building of traditional architecture nicely decorated and fully equipped. The great breakfast we had was mainly from local products. You will find several interesting activities and sightseeings in the near area that are close. We enjoyed Markos company over the days we are sad we couldn't spent more days in Ydili. Once again a great host in a small paradise.
