Elegant room with all the trimmings.

Wow, I felt like a queen when I walked into my very large well appointed room with its four-poster bed. Lovely comfortable room with a good hot shower. A table and chairs for eating meals at or working on the computer.

It was a little difficult to find the reception as google maps took us to the top of the street when the entrance was on the side street. So we were walking through the apartments looking for reception. The reception wasn't very well signed. When I called the phone number there was no answer which didn't help.

Worth only if discounted

Area was quite charming and calm. We used last minute offer and payed a little- but regular price wouldn't be acceptable for conditions we got. For one night it was a good deal but couldn't stay there longer.

Room wasn't clean: we found hair in the bed and small window was full of spiders web and dirty. Entrance door had holes! At night it was very loud from outside(we could hear all sounds from other rooms and dog barking all night). We didn't get bottle of water which should be provided as per description. Bottles of shower gel we got were already used in half! No tea/ coffee provided.

Late checkin option.

The apartment was dirty, huge spiderwebs in the kitchen, stained sofas, dirty floor. We booked the apartment for 5 people but there were only towels, sheets and pillows for 4 people (the sofa-bed was not ready to be slept in at all). We were late for the check-in but no information was given regarding wifi password. No one answered us through the booking.com communication channels. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Exceptional

My 2nd time coming to Kasteli and loved it as much as I did the first time. Maria and her family cannot do enough for you. Panormos is such a beautiful place and Kasteli is ideally situated just at the edge of the village within a few mins walk to plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. (There is a short but quite steep hill to get to Kasteli). Will definitely be returning.

Some of the sunbeds could do with updating.

NEVER ever again, we left after 4 nights out of 9 nights booked. Dirty and smelly!

The appartment occured to be a nightmare, was very dirty, with some food rests on the sink, smudges on the bed blanket, pillows etc. (see photos). It smelled musty in the appartment, our clothes smelled like a cellar even after coming back home, so we had to wash them all. The breakfast had a very poor quality, no warm dishes, the cheapest staff from the supermarket and even one half-brown, not eatable apple was there 3 days in a row and nobody seemed to realize that (photo attached). Fruit and vegetables were definitely not always fresh, being often dry.. Bathroom was very small, furthermore, there was no shower curtain, so the whole bathroom was full with water after taking the shower. The appartment was so disgusting that we even din't want to prepare any food there. Sorry, but never ever again here!

Nice place, close to restaurants and Bars. Good spot to explore Crete. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds

Decent stay at Kasteli Studios and Apartments

-Nice views from the balcony. -Rooms were clean and comfortable.

-A bit of a walk down to the beach. Not the most convenient location. -Pool opens late and closes early, leaving only the middle of the day to swim, when you're most likely out enjoying the island, not staying at the hotel. -Breakfast is only open for one hour. If you show up right before the end of the hour, they won't serve you. -Bathrooms are extremely small. -Didn't meet my expectations because of the pool times and the breakfast issue.

the living section and kitchen were quite small and featureless and the air con was in those areas and not the bedrooms. having said that the owner arranged a fan for my daughters bedroom

disappointing

The location is good, near Parnomo center. They prepared breakfast box for us, since we left early most days.

Breakfast is only from 9-10am, what is very inconvenient if you want to go early to the beach. The pool is only opened until 6pm, even if sunset is only at 8pm. The “lateral sea view” room we were assigned to was not what we were expecting. It was out of the main hotel, on an annex building, where the balcony was on the street level. The room was smelling like it’s been closed for a long time, the bathroom seemed unfinished (no hangers for towels, paper or the shower), there was no box, so the bathroom was entirely soaked after the bath. They have not cleaned the room for 3 days, until we asked, and their “cleaning” was basically changing the towels.

Very good

The accommodation was very nice. And the hostess was really kind. We had an amazing experience. The location was not very close to the sea, but still it was a walking distance. The pool, tough, was nice and relaxing.

I believe the rooms should be a little better soundproof. And maybe I could enjoy having a tv in my room, since due to work I hade to stay in for a lot of hours. But, despite the above, kastelli rooms were perfect! And Maria was amazing!!!Thank you so much

It was hard to find the hosts and get a key. It is a pity that there are no small but essential items in the room for those who come to stay for a short time, such as: coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil for frying. These are things that would greatly enhance the hospitality experience !!! Please note!
